I mean, he didn't violate constitutional rights like other cops. Don't forget they are people too and you really don't know what kind of day they are having.
Regardless, this is why anger management training should be part of the base training though. So it doesn't blow up and become something more than just words.

NO, I listen to the Pittsburgh Police department Scanner every night and I will tell you, if you ever want to know what is going on around you, listen to the police scanner in the closest City's police department and EMS and FIRE department and you will get a real appreciation for these public servants. 💯🤔😳🤨😮😰

The officer should NOT be fired, as Citizens nowadays are always trying to hang their asses. Most cops are not criminals, they are true HEROS, putting their lives in JEOPARDY, whenever they are confronted with CRIMINALS. No matter the situation with the OUTLAWS. God Bless ALL the officers and please don't be afraid to do what is best to keep yourself and other law- abiding citizens SAFE. Thank YOU!

Tell that to the victim of Lynn Tabb, Citrus county, FL. Sex crimes detective who raped a 7 year old child repeatedly & got charges dismissed. Yes they had collected his DNA from child victim.

Nice try, WFLA, but the fact you won't even play the video tells us everything we need to know. Officer is innocent and probably should have used more aggression and possibly force against the unruly mob.
That is the standard way the TPD and the HCSO speak to the public,. If any officer manages to speak a single sentence without dropping the F-bomb, they slipped up.

We've all dealt with these types. Being polite and civil gets you nowhere. They see it as weakness. The officer did what has to be done to tame them.

I suspect it has less to do with attitude toward the boot than a general understanding that politeness and civility would be seen as weakness by a crowd like this, and that the only way to tame them is aggression/force.
