- Rayman 2: The Great Escape is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubi Pictures and published by Ubi Soft and the sequel to Rayman. It was released for the Nintendo 64 and Microsoft Windows in 1999, and Dreamcast and PlayStation in 2000. Rayman 2 The Great Escape review on the nintendo 64. Recorded using a dazzle and on original real console hardware and game cartridge.
The first game I ever played / beat as a 7 year old. This one will always have a special place for me. An underrated masterpiece.
I absolutely love rayman 2 music. I recently replayed it and ended up humming the main themes for a couple of weeks. I cannot believe one could find anything to criticize it for! It was a perfect mixture of electronic and tribal sounds, energetic, funny (all the "scary" tracks!) and memorable
The music is amazing,it's geniuenly my favourite video game soundtracks of all time. But the N64 has a different score than the other versions. The rhytm sections are kind of identical but it has a lot less depth and bite to it. I can see the appeal but i haven't met anybody who prefers it to the original,it's just dull in my opinion.
n64 music is kind of weird but it has its charm
@@beb9987 Yeah the N64 version sucks in Music pls play the PC or Dreamcast Version
Exactly, the music is one of my favorite elements. I get it is not as traditional Rayman style, but it took a good chance that worked out.
With me being 17, I never had an N64 as a kid, we had PS1 and then a PS2 and eventually my brother got a PS3 and I split off and got an Xbox 360, and I recently bought an N64 solely to check out No Mercy but I was also hoping to get Banjo Kazooie since I'd never played it and it's cheaper than Super Mario 64 and Donkey Kong 64 but I lost out on the auction on Ebay and I couldn't find another decent copy of it and while I wait for another decent copy to spring up, I'm gonna get Rayman 2 after watching this review, should wet my appetite, thanks Glenn! Also its a shame Conkers Bad Fur Day is £100+ nowadays, insane price for what looks like an average game
+Edd “DatGingerKid” Alvs conkers is really good. If you have a 360 just buy conkers live and reloaded for that since its an hd version of conkers bad fur day and like a third the price.
Crazy4Comics
if you like games of this sort check out rocket robot on wheels also released by Ubi soft and made by sucker punch who you might know from the sly cooper and infamous series it came out around the same time as rayman 2 but sadly it didn't catch on and is pretty much forgotten these days but it's excellent one of my faves on the system and extremely underrated
The price on Conker is insane but it's a very well put together game. Smooth controls, excellent graphics and surprisingly high framerate considering the fantastic visuals.
I have this for Dreamcast. It's a fun game.
I love this game. I got it on PC, Dreamcast, N64 and it was even one of the first games I picked up for the 3DS. Always a fun ride and I am hoping that one day we will get another 3D Rayman game again.
Which port do u think's the best? I'd have to go with Dreamcast.
AnnoyingReply Yes the Dreamcast is the best console port, from what I know it's pretty much like the PC version but on a console. I don't like the voice acting of the PS2 and I prefer the original graphics over the remake so Dreamcast version is the best one imo. The 3DS one is really buggy so I would avoid that one.
+Animated Freak Kew. Agreed about the American voice acting, ugh. The mumbling's so much more unique/charming.
And i'll never pick up a DS so no worries there.
+AnnoyingReply It surprised me that the ps1 port's easily the worst. Nintendo did a splendid job with what they could utilize.
AnnoyingReply Yes I agree about the voice acting, the mumbling just adds to the already rich world of the game. Well there is the DS version and then the 3DS version. The DS version is kinda impressive considering the hardware. But the 3DS version is just a disappointment.
in my opinion the rayman 2 sound track is the BEST game sound track that i have ever heard
It’s great on pc too so clear
Ubisoft is nuts if they aren't considering another 3d Rayman game given the recent revival of 3d platformers
Just snagged this N64 title for $4.27 via a holiday promotion from a local retro store:) Never had interest in a Rayman game back in the day. Man was I missing out! Such a great game!! So happy to have it in my N64 library!!!
The green cartridge made it even more special. Definitely on my top 5 n64 games
Loved Rayman 2, it's still one of my all time favourite platformers.
So under rated in my opinion
I remember playing the first Rayman on my old PC as a kid, and before I knew it, I fell in love.
One of my absolute favorites. Rented this all the time. One of the most memorable scenes in gaming for me was assembling the totem pole, and having that completely unsettling scene. The art design in Rayman games has always been astounding, but I think Rayman 2 is really just one of the definitive surrealist visions I've ever seen.
The thing that I love about this game is how much it embraces the exploratory part of action platforming. Being able to explore levels in a way that exceeded Mario 64 in some ways, and always feeling the drive forward. It's not a very "tight" platformer per say, but that really gives it a lot of character. I love just moving around and navigating through levels. A real treat.
One thing which I dislike is the sheer amount of rail sections though. It can be especially frustrating when you're trying to get all the Lums, and the controls aren't nearly as tight there. There's so many of those sections, and I feel it does more to hinder than help the game.
I really want to pick this game up again, and I heard Rayman Forever was a great remake. The memories for this one are so vivid and was really a defining game which shaped my interest in "darker" kid themes. Everything about it was simply alluring, and even when there was a snag, I always wanted to see it through. It's a game which compels you to see more, has it's own unique style, and doesn't sacrifice providing a clear experience.
Great review, Glenn!
AguyinaRPG ah thank you so much, you know i kinda have the same feelings towards this game, but yeah the rails sections are quite extensive but fun enough until you get to the trickier ones where you need tons of attempts to do them!
Classic, creative, and beautiful game. The area with all the animated thorny vine textures is especially impressive.
after seeing this I want to get this game now it looks fun
i first played the n64 version and i remember the beautiful colors in the game and that green cartridge... later i played the ps1 version, mostly for the voices.
As a kid i did pick this up. Yes it was after i played super mario 64, banjo and kazooie, and dk64; but i remember rayman 2 just as fondly as those other n64 3d classics
I just found your channel and I love your video reviews!! You deserve waay more subscribers!
Thank you and welcome!
What a nostalgia trip. I got this cartridge alongside the n64 when I was a kid and I played the absolute hell out of it. I specifically remember that waterski section with the snake dude where you had to dodge all those explosive barrels.
great review glenn
Wow! I have been watching your videos on RetroWare for about a year now. I never thought to check out RUclips to give you a subscribe and to get involved. I think its admirable that you answer comments and are so positive keep up the videos, you always hit my right in my nostalgia bone. Great Work Dude!
Nova thank you so much, yeah i always reply to pretty much everyone where possible as at the end of the day this is a community rather than a dumping ground for my videos :)
***** Well said my friend!
I picked Rayman 2 at a garage sale at around age 7/8, couldn't have been more happier with the purchase lol.
1:35 - Love little tidbits of info like that. makes perfect sense that they would develop tonic trouble as a "practice" of sorts. Made Rayman 2 come out shiny and polished! Tonic trouble was a decent game too.
Missed a few, watching them all back now!
This is a very beautiful game indeed. I freaking loved this game when I had it on N64.
Had a lot of mind bending fun with that rocket thing you get to ride on, on that mad level as well hahaha!
This game was THE reason I got my first controller pack years ago. Easily one of the best hidden gems on the N64.
TWK Reviews i remember the dilemma of having to delete save games :) problems kids these days will never know about hah
*****
lol They have no clue.
I ended up getting this game because my dad liked it and for pretty much no other reason. Needless to say my dad had good taste.
Did he like Rayman 1 too!
@@n64glennplant he loved rayman 1! I remember this being one of the few games I actually beat with my dad! The others being bomberman hero, star fox 64 and wind waker! The last one was a bit special just because my dad hated Zelda games and I could never get him to like ocarina of time or majoras mask.
Rayman 2 is easily my favorite Nintendo 64 game and I wish we had at least 2 more games on the N64. Either way I love this game and I hope we see more Rayman in the near future.
I quite like the modern 2d raymans these days
This and along with Tomb Raider 2 were the first games I ever played. I originally had it on the Windows 98 back in the early 2000's and remember being blown away by the graphics and game play, since then I brought most of the other ports and completed them. Great review btw.
GamerGuy Thomas thank you, i too had this on pc - loved it also
This is easily one of my top 10 favorite games on the system, and one of my favorate 3D platformers of all time. I loved the great sense of flow that the game gave you, and I was happy that it was not just a Mario 64 clone but instead took a more linear approach to level design.
Michael Sriqui i also think it has some fantastic cut scenes which at times were a little dark too!
***** Yeah, that's true, it makes me wish that they would bring Razorbeard and the RoboPirates back for future installments in the series.
When I first found this game in some fancy JC Penny Catalogue, I wanted it along with a lot of other things for Christmas back in 1999, but unfortunately, like the rest of my Christmases as a kid, I got a lot less than I expected.
thats a shame pongo, I was always lucky at xmas time
I completed this on my N64 over a year ago - a great game!
One of my favorites!
This is by far one of my favorite 64 titles. My older brother didn't like it that much, but it was a sensation with me and the kids I was gaming with at the time. Everything about this title was strong, with the exception of the pretty generic "collect the magic McGuffin to defeat the big baddy, restore balance, and save the world." I think the sound and music is what stuck in my head the most.
Great videos Glenn. Have you ever heard of Mischief Makers? I would love to see a review on that game in particular.
Just out of the blue it popped in my mind and it made me reminisce how much fun I had with it.
Take care and keep up the good work!
This game was so effing good. I for one loved the music and mumbles.
this game is the shit.
I always loved it's unique atmosphere.
I remember i purchased this as a child for the PC but it my PC wasnt able to handle the requirements. So i just looked at the CD case for years waiting to finally play it. Which i finally did in my teen years on the N64. ONe of my all time favourites across the board. Always find myself revisiting and the soundtrack is perfect.
I really prefer N64 -version due the playcontol. I think Rayman 2 was the first 3D platform game (not puzzle platformer) that actually worked from start to finish. Classic.
Agree with you
This is simply amazing. One of The best plataformers ever!
i love this game and i still have the original Box with this Map from the big world.
to this day the Robo-Pirates ( Henchman 802) is one of my favorite baddies of all time.. Rayman 2 was a really good 3D platformer
I remember playing Rayman 2 on the N64, great game, I have fond memories of it as a child.
1:42 2nd Person Gameplay!
I heard of rayman 2 but unfortunately I wasn't able to pick it up because I was playing a lit of games back then but I can see why rayman 2 was overlooked great review my friend ^_^
i just bought this for dreamcast. i hope its good. i'm about halfway finished playing banjo kazooie for the first time and i'm really enjoying it. this seems like a good game to follow it up with.
digitalblasphemy1100 i think you'll like the dreamcast version. its a different type of platformer but equally as fun
***** Yeah i put it in today and like it a lot so far. (giggity)
digitalblasphemy1100 Rayman 2 N64= Good
Rayman 2 PC = Masterpiech
Rayman 2 Dreamcast = Masterpiech,The superior version
Been a fan of rayman since the release of the first demo! I am now currently playing Rayman2 on the N64 and i absolutely love it, it is what i remember from the pc version back in the day. With all the good levels and extra's. I also have the ps1 version of Rayman 2 and to much have been cut out the game unfortunatly.
I hope to own Rayman and Rayman 2 on every console one day, cause i have seen the Sega Dreamcast version and that one is awesome as well awesome to the max.
Rayman on Atari Jaguar is a gem tough, expensive but still want it!
The Dreamcast version is the best consle version of Rayman 2, maybe it just me xD
I borrowed some games for the N64 from a buddy back in the time, and Rayman 2 was included. This game may not be a first pick choice to everyone, but to those who played it must have enjoyed the boss battles and of course, the voice effects and the music, the same way as I enjoyed it. I'm glad this game was a part of my childhood! :)
Mohamed Ismail its amazing how many people have great memories of this who played it as a kid
I'm late on this game I bought it at gamestop's and I'm very impressed I always remembered the reviews being good back in the day but this game sure is well done. Its ike sonic & crash bandicoot had a baby and went to an odd trippy world .
As a primarily PS1 owner at the time, this really flew under the radar for me. It was a game I had barely seen screenshots off in magazines etc, but didnt know anyone who had this, was interested in it or ever talked about it. Rayman (the first) for PS1 seemed to have been having a lot more general popularity in my circles. For the people who had N64, it seems like you said: That there was just soo many other big title platforming games that grabbed their attention instead.
Odin's Playground yeah if you take those away this would have sold like crazy but rare and nintendo just had such a solid reputation, and the fact that tonic trouble landed just a few months before this and put people off buying this i think
I think the main reason I didn't pick this up was Tonic Trouble. I bought it one day and played it a bunch, but never got very far. I kept getting stuck at hard parts that shouldn't have been hard. I definitely see what you mean buy Tonic being the test subject. I have played a little Rayman 2, but I need to play more. Great review!
foolio1990 this is 100% better than tonic trouble, they appear similar but they are night and day apart
Wicked, wicked game. One of the best games on N64. Honestly top 5!
When it was still Electronics Boutique I bought Rainbow Six for PC and for some reason the clerk was awesome enough to pack in a Dreamcast shirt featuring Rayman 2 on it. I didn't have an N64 or Dreamcast back then, but finally tried the game a couple years ago on Dreamcast and liked it a lot. I didn't get real far, but it was my go to platformer game when I was in the mood.
xenomorpher EB! what a store they were! they used to have some mega sales going on
***** Oh yeah, it was like Christmas when they were trying to get rid of their last generation inventory. Back then I managed to get my Dreamcast there for $14.99 and a CIB Majora's Mask Collector's Edition for $12.99. The only catch was they loved to put their stickers all over the game box/case.
I picked this one up for the Dreamcast back in the day. Beautiful game. I never had a problem with the music since it did it's job well and kept to the flow of the game. Love the art design and gorgeous colors. Often it feels like you're playing through a Saturday morning cartoon. I'm pleased that Rayman has been getting proper games of late. Words cannot express my disappointment the first time I played Raving Rabbids (blind buy) on the Wii. Definitely didn't expect a mini games collection.
Ron Rose i was lucky enough to dodge all rabbids games even when i got the wii on launch!
The Rayman Games Were awesome! Is Ubisoft’s Flagship Franchise, that rayman side scroller and 3d games on consoles, Rayman Legends Definitive Edition is the game that may be buy a Nintendo switch, it has enhanced visuals, beat em up action, colorful graphics and delightful music
Rayman origins was better than legends IMHO
Rayman 2 is a really fun game because of all the cool things you can do. You can waterski, fly, ride a bomb with legs, and so much more! Plus the battle action is great! You can shoot laser balls out of your hand to save the world from pirates! It's fun!
Wish I'd found this as a kid! This is a hidden gem for sure. It kept surprising me with how varied it was and works just as well as Mario 64. Music loops can be buggy and boss battles a bit tedious but would definitely recommend
Wow I had no clue this was a 64 game. I think I had a demo of it on PS and then later bought a pack with rayman 2, 3 and the multiplayer M and looooved it. Really amazing platform and hoodlum havoc had so much content for me as a kid my mind was blown!
this was my first game i played (on pc) and it changed my life it change youre game expierence completedly just by the surroundings
This game is actually really fun still and holds up very well to time for a 3d platformer.
I never bought it as I never saw the appeal of the character, in fact the first Rayman game was a launch title for the PS1, I went and bought Jumping Flash instead.
The original Rayman was a port on Playstation, from Sega Saturn
***** Which was a port of the atari Jaguar
***** hehe well we rented a ps1 from blockbuster shortly after its launch and got street fighter the movie and kileak the blood - suffice to say we got a saturn as a purchase instead. it was a year or so later we eventually got the ps1 console
*****
Lol, I was working in Electronics Boutique at the time and I got that Street Fighter Movie game for free, as a customer returned it saying it was broken. It worked perfectly, he just didn't like the game. But we had to bin anything that was returned as "faulty". I just took it home instead >:D
haha to be fair i quite enjoyed that, hated killeak the blood though.
oh what a awesome game. I played this as a child in PC, but recently i bought it for N64 and it was a totally different experience (with the expansion pak) with awesome graphics and a different soundtrack (specially the final boss theme), it made me feel as a kid again
Armando92 glad i could make you feel that way! i need to play the DC version now :)
***** if i remember correctly the DC version was the one with real voices? or that was the ps1 version? i remember the ps2 remake had the option for both
I first played this game on PC at a friend's, and then later picked it up for the PS1 (as that was the system I owned at the time), not even knowing that there was a N64 version, or how much content had been cut from the PS1 version.
I grabbed it because the cartridge was green
At one point, I have given Rayman 2 a try on a friend's N64. I only really played it for a short time, so I wasn't able to let the game sink in before I was able to feel any appreciation for the game or if I wasn't really interested in it despite not finding anything really wrong with it. Now and then, I had urges to take a much closer look into the game.
When GoG sold a Rayman bundle earlier this year, this game being among them, I did buy it, so at least I can say that I have some sort of access to the PC version of the game if I ever get around to playing it.
ClessAileron the cool thing about the pc version is that you can crank the settings to the max these days and it looks amazing
My friend had this game and I borrowed it. The reason i didn't pick it up myself was because each game would be a christmas/birthday present and I wanted to play different genres.
Rayman 1 was my first ever game and I have fond, if frustrating, memories of it.
i picked this up on release day in asda. damn, they were the good ol days.
Kasey Pettit yeah they were awesome :)
I first discovered Rayman 2 (Revolution) for the PS2 on RUclips about 4 years ago when scrolling through game soundtracks and was instantly hooked. I got the game short after that and then realized there was many other versions like N64, PSX and Dreamcast. R2R is a really good remaster and is frustratingly difficult sometimes, havent even beaten it yet. It has a special place in my heart tho, cuz I love the artstyle and music.
Speaking about music, I would like to hear some of the games music in your reviews when you are talking about the sound/music parts. That would make your reviews even more enjoyable ;)
Like when you did the (holyshitIloveturok2'smusic) Turok 2 review it would be nice to hear some samples in 100% volume, when you talk about the music, instead of playing the track in the background hearing you talking over it, if you know what I mean. Sorry for my rubbish english, but I hope you got my message. I love your reviews anyway,, but they could be even better if you introduced that little thing. Peace.
RAZKEN i too would love to do that, the problem is if theres no Voice over then it gets picked up by copyright police and they block the video etc
*****
Oh yeah youre right! Didn't think about that. Ohwell you do a fantastic job without it anyway!
Please consider Vigilante 8 2nd Offense to be the next PLEASE :) :)
I rented this along with castlevania a long time ago and couldn't really get into either game. About a year ago I bought Rayman 2 and it's one of my favorites in my n64 collection. Definitely an overlooked gem imo.
wiiviewsnumba1fan i agree, just so many good platforms the better ones sometimes get overlooked
I missed out on this 64, I eventually played it when it came on the playstation network, I remember seeing the screenshots in Nintendo magazine and being amazed it was in 3D after the original
***** yeah i remember the magazines going nuts for this too
Love this game. So much fun, and not a lootbox in sight.
Amen to that!
Great review! The final boss was a right nightmare..
Kieran Taylor oh man yeah that was a tough one
I've recently shaved my N64 collection down considerably and decided to only focus on the games I'm actually going to play through. Your review has inspired me to seek this one out as a keeper as I absolutely adore the newer 2D Rayman games and this seems have some of that charm. It's odd, however, that I've never latched onto the original. It just turns me off for some reason. It's probably the only series where I feel that the first game is the worst.
***** the new rayman games are awesome, I'm hoping they announce a new one soon!
My very first rayman game. It was fun but the last stages were kinda hard for me.
I loved this game as a kid.
Ima huge N64 fan and I didnt know this game was on it which tells you something. Im gonna play this asap!
Can't wait for a Perfect Dark review!
RetroGamingNinja ill try to do it by year end :)
One of my favorite games of all time and has probably the hardest final boss i ever played
oblivion8910 i thought the final boss wasn't too bad
damn really?? i broke a sweat trying to beat it haha
This is one of those games that I always wanted to play, but never got around to it. I may pick it up on GOG and give it a try, better late than never...
i had the dreamcast and ds version, has to be one of the best rayman games
I didn't pick it up because , although i enjoyed the first one on the Saturn. I was a little bit more grown up and saw it as being too kiddy for me. Games were expensive and £50 was alot of money for a 11 year old. I bought Shadowman on the N64 instead. Don't regret my purchase. Picked up Rayman 2 on the Dreamcast later however and really enjoyed it.
I picked this one up immediately thanks to the multitude of high praise from gaming sites. Was not disappointed in the least.
It's a great buy :-) such a big game too
I guess that back in the day, I only watched platformers developed by Nintendo or Rare as worthy of any attention. However, I did played this game on the Dreamcast and had one hell of a good time with it, at the time it was one of the best platformers I had played. Then I played the port on DS and I didn't liked it. Some things about it were off, and the lack of joystick really hurted it. Guess I should try the N64 version in the future.
CyriuX7 oh man this 100% needs a joystick, a dpad could be horrific for this. it would be like trying to play mario 64 on the snes pad hah
Personally I thought the music fit. Yes it was ominous and not catchy but that wasn't any normal rayman game. It was dark and more of a serious tone. One of my favorite games still to this day
Joey Eckley i think with the modern games in the series the music is the best they've ever had, it was nice to see them do something a little more unusual for this game
This game is compatible with the expansion pack , it improve the graphics and make it close to the DC version
I hope you one day review Tonic Trouble.
Just saw this in 2020, I’m discovering your channel and it is amazing! I skipped this game just because I never liked Rayman’s design :/ I don’t know why but I don’t liked it and I never play games if the main character is not appealing to me
I played the PS1 version. It had a nice bonus 2D level at the end, possibly from Rayman 2 beta version.
LuffyMcDuck thats correct yes
I didn't play the first Rayman until it came out on the GBA. Man that game was hard....
4DhumanInstrumentality i haven't played the rayman games on gameboy but id sure like to
This is my favorite version of Rayman 2. I've played the PS and DC versions and I just can't help but like the N64 version better. I don't know what it is, but there is just something about it that makes me like it more, despite all versions being almost identical (except the PS2 version I believe).
I loved this game when I was a kid. I got stuck on the level where you ride the plum on the lava though...
Love this game. The Dreamcast port is the best, it's practically identical to the PC version
Always wanted to pick it up, but didn't have the money at the time. Finally managed to get it on Good old games, and it is still a joy to play through :D
This was another popular rental for me and the boys back in the day. It was great and since we didn't have memory card, we would try and fail to finish it in one siting. I picked it up again a few years back and was surprised to find it was superior to the PSX game and still holds up really well. I also have a memory card now so I no longer have to try to finish it one siting.
Jaeger Newman oh man trying to do this in one sitting would be torture! did you ever do it?
Back in those days are video game skills were under developed. It took us a single day just to get to the first boss.
Glenn, i liked that you mentioned Tonic trouble. Can you review Tonic trouble in the future? And one more question: is it worth getting Tonic trouble?
The snes geek no its not a good game by any means, tonic trouble is a wacky concept and still good looking but has too many problems
I really enjoyed this game and it was my first Rayman since I didn't have a PS1 yet until later. Banjo Kazooie is easily my favorite 3D platformer on the N64 but this would probably be my third pick after Super Mario 64. (Mystical Ninja or Banjo Tooie might also knock it down a notch, hard to decide between those three) I still need to play Conker's Bad Fur Day, I rented it near release but don't remember it very well. Trying to find a semi decent deal on it.
Pimpalicious1987 that will be a hard deal to find, the price of conkers is insanely over priced IMO i hope you get it though as its a fun game
I'll bite eventually if I can't find it. $80-100 isn't that bad considering most other N64 games aren't expensive. I think that's the highest priced one I actually want, I could care less about Sculptor's Cut(I rented it and it's decent enough but wouldn't pay much for it, even if I found it for a crazy deal I'd probably flip it)
I loved this game so much never had the chance to beat it though :(
i remeber everything about this game from day one becasue i never got it till way later. the tv ad's were everywhere at the time. I also love legends on the wiiu. I never ever completed rayman 1 which killed me inside as a kid.
***** legends is awesome but origins is my fav rayman game
Really liking Origins and Legends, I knew you were okay.
I always prefered Tonic Trouble over Rayman for some reason. I loved the more obscure and "trippy" design of it, and the whole game felt like a psychedelic experience.
qaywsx583 oh man big time tonic trouble is wacky as hell!
*****
Is there any chance that you do a review of Starshot Space Circus Fever?
That game is the epitome of wackiness.
The music isn't bad, is actually fantastic and fits with the dark & mystical atmosphere of the game, is more than the MIDI tunes from the n64 can't compete with the real soundtrack (like, listen to the original woods of light or the boss battle theme and compare it to the n64 one).
+REML MLER so you’ve both disagreed and then agreed with my point in the same comment 😬
I still wouldn't call the N64 version soundtrack "bland".
+REML MLER the pc version is very nice but naturally it has a lot more depth too it. I felt that sadly much of the necessary richness was lost on this version compared to the cd based counterparts
I wonder Glenn have you played the Dreamcast port and PS2 remake of this? i grew up with N64 version so i wanted an opinion from someone who loves the n64 as much as you do but also know when somethings are improved on
Im not getting the 3DS port its really buggy. however the DS port is straight from the N64 on the go
id go for the pc or DC versions over this for the controls alone but if you only had this version its still fun
@@n64glennplant the PS2 version is a combo of
PC Graphics
DC Mini games
New HUb world added
CD Quality music
an additional 4 hours of play
as well as new power ups bought at stores.
how does this sound compared to those versions?
