Tunisian lace is so lovely and fun to create. I’m searching for a new set of interchangeable Tunisian hooks. With my Denise brand ones, the cord separates from the hook when I’m making heavier projects like afghans. Do you have a favourite set of hooks?

Apart from the traditional long and short, straight and double-pointed metal Tunisian hooks, I tried cheaper sets of cabled ones on Amazon (with fixed, very long plastic cords). Then I bought qualitative Knit Pro sets with interchangeable cables. I love the Knit Pro hooks, cables stay in place nicely, but I could work well with the cheaper ones as well, frankly. You can find the Knit Pro on Amazon too, though they are quite expensive. The set comes with cords in different lengths and 8 hooks (3.5 mm - 8 mm). The advantage is you can buy cords and hooks singularly, too, and they work with the knit set as well.

I’m sorry but you saying Yan instead of Yarn, is such a turn off. Please redo your video and say Yarn. You do such a good job explaining, but every time you say “Yan over” my skin crawls. I don’t understand why people make videos and don’t pronounce their words right. Maybe you would have more people watching your videos if you pronounce your words. It’s not Yan, it’s YARN. Moving on to someone else. Have a good day.

English is not my language, I am Italian, and it costs me a lot of efforts to do videos in a language that is not my own. I'm sorry if my bad pronunciation irritates you, I still think it is better than Italian or mute to be understood by the largest number of people. Have a good day yourself and thanks for the critics: always useful. 🙂

@@HookloopsarahCrochet I think you do an amazing job for English not being your first language!! Don't let the rudeness of others deter you from producing such easy to follow videos. I'm new to Tunisian crochet and you have helped me a great deal! Thank you!

@@HookloopsarahCrochet Wow I have never commented on a video and I’ve had a RUclips account pretty much since it’s inception. But this made me want to say that you should ignore this unnecessarily hateful comment. I wonder how many languages that person speaks…. 🙄 This video is so helpful! You explain the stitch very clearly and I’m excited to try it out!
