With the kill range of "Yes" and the precision of "sure why not" , the JDAMs are effective systems not to be underestimated.
The best description of a JDAM I have ever seen. "Can you put that on this building?" "Do you want it in his coffee cup, or a little left on his toast?"
JDAMs are my favorite thing to build, but as far as precision, GBU-39s can't be topped.
If they ever attach the JDAM's to the A-10S We would have the perfect fighter jet,
@@patwatson7543 The A-10C variant has capability for both JDAM and WCMD (Altough this is banned by the CCM which the US has not signed).

Amid Hussain why would they stop? Covering fire to reposition, a show of force against superior fire power, or simply that’s the hill they choose to die on. Death doesn’t end a battle a lack of morale does. Unless that is you completely wipeout the enemy
tyler schoen but at the end who said that they dont wanna die anymore? Who said that they dont wanna fight and wanna go back to US

They can be shot from B2 from 50 000 feet
Oh wow at 0:12 you can see a flash of gunfire from the bush right next to the building they did the airstrike on. Wow they rly were right in front of the enemy.
I'm pretty sure those were friendly rounds impacting. Sounded like .50 cal. You could hear the shots right before. Good eye though, I didn't notice that the first time.
steelhammer103 201i
No that is definitely a muzzle flash.
wow took me a while to see that. dont know how you saw that.
It MIGHT have been a digital artifact. I saw another one right on the middle of the wall of one of those buildings way in the distance. Plus, the flash at 0:12 was from pretty high up in that tree, and I doubt the guy was shooting through the tree from the ground behind there. Digital errors leading to momentary flashes are common in low-res videos. I once saw a low-res video where the poster said one of the flashes was momentary eye-shine from bigfoot!
Holy shit, that one lucky round landed way too close for my comfort.
Can see the enemy muzzle flash after he says taking fire from tree line still toward end. One muzzle flash, sniper trying to hit target on upward slope. Good luck with that!
Think That was only smoke from the air strike bro

So I have never been able to flash from gutshots in many of your videos but this one shows it pretty damn well THANKS FUNKER!!!!!
Watching these types of videos sort of sheds light on why these guys come back with all sorts of psychological issues.
The SPEED of that ordnance dropping in is PHENOMENAL....... if it's JDAM then it's freefall, not a missile, so...... it's also so fast not even 1/30 of a second can capture it. In several JDAM drops you'll see the bombs in at least 2 frames, depending on distance away.... but with this one you do see a faint shockwave prior to impact.
awesome footage......
I saw the first one flash by in the screen. Was the second and third explosions secondaries or more bombs? They said bombs but i only saw one come in on the screen.
It does appear fast but they fall at around 600mph, or around 880fps. Which really isn’t that fast considering a standard 5.56 rifle round is traveling at 3100+ fps. Still, they do appear to be traveling super fast which is cool.
shit falls fast from a jet moving 500mph or faster lol
@@johnd9357 600mph is fast for any hundred pound bomb lol

2:31 shoulda paid rent
I love the fact that you can't actually see the bombs, but you can see the shockwave they leave passing through the air like .00001 seconds before impact. You hear it, you see that little shockwave, then BOOM.
Still south of the tree line, the best is when you immediately hear, “roggggggoo, coming around back”
Sweet vid, thx for posting
Last guy is posted up in the right of the screen, there's a clearing in the center of the trees, he's at the top of the clearing dead center. You can see what looks like the flash at 2:44 - 2:45, then impact comes.
well spotted
2:49 You can see the sun hit the scope of the enemy gun down in that tree in the front right area crazy shit
that's a muzzle flash
@Dan Gurău true
It's just a glitch in the reconrding, you can see the artifact go from the middle left side of the screen over the mountain ledge all the way to the right where you mention that tree.

@0:57, there was a bird land right in front of this soldier. You can clearly see it at the right of the subtitle word "now" :D

2:26 a round misses them literally by a few inches. Look at the black belt link in the immediate foreground to help give you a sense of scale.

Wow. I can't even imagine the stress.👍👏🏻🇺🇸
Does anyone know if they use thermal sights in combat for long rage so they can see enemies better? I feel as though have a thermal and optical imaging sight would be extremely useful for keeping a fight at a distance and also giving a huge advantage for us because the thermal imaging makes their camouflage useless, and we’d be able to see an enemy that’s slightly peaking way better through thermal sights
If it was vehicle mounted yes, but as these guys seem to be part of a foot patrol, something that heavy, i doubt would be used, even at night. At night, we relied on AH 64's and IR strobe lights attached to ourselves, but this is from a UK servicemans point of view, i dont know what the US forces would be doing at night.
what is that "whooosh" sound between 2:31 and 2:32? is it the airplane or the bomb itself falling through the air? Thanks
That woosh is from the bombs
It seemed to take ages for the ordnance to arrive...I can't imagine being there and taking fire waiting...waiting.
You answered it in the most ad hoc way filled with rhetoric. The second time I said it was a statement, notice the lack of '?' ?
So you would, making you subject of your statement, you cant fight because you would depend on IEDs and roadside bombs (which are the same thing).
I didn't miss your "clear and simple point" you missed a clear and simple answer to my clear and simple question.
what is that gun firing short bursts from 0:10?
Jeez, one minute to impact! In combat, that's forever.

Lol. Subscribed!!!
What were the small pillars of smoke in the field next to the explosion? Debris?
Incredible precision.
Go 0:50 See "weapons away" on the bottom? From the letter "a" from away, draw a line going straight up to about dead center of the screen. On the darker roof I think I can see something moving right before those two rounds were shot off. It could definitely be just pixels or something blowing in the wind, but it possibly looks like somebody popped up, shot two rounds, and then ducked back down again.
