Aww thank you! Yep, I had to really hold back on chords and fill-ins, to keep it simple enough for lower intermediate pianists haha! It's still fun to play though :)

@@cettebox2468 "I see the light" is one of my all time favorite covers too haha! I basically wrote these 2 simple Eid songs for 2 of my darling little Malay students, then decided to share them to celebrate Eid with my Malaysian and Indonesian viewers.

hello Hello Do you know a software that would be able to transform a Midi karaoke file into a music score with the name of the chords?
Hello Andre, most notation software can import midi files and display them as a score, but it's almost always a horrible mess all lumped together into one staff - unless it's specifically written with 2 different instrument parts/channels. And names of chords are never given. I'm afraid you'll need a human transcriber for proper scores complete with chord symbols and lyrics. If you're interested, email me at joycemusic1@gmail.com. How to find melody of any song....by ears or any specific technique
By ear. I listen while at my piano, and match the notes, a few at a time. I enter them into my notation software as soon as I identify them (so I don't have to learn/remember the whole song first haha)

Is this your first video with Synthesia animation?
I think Synthesia is a very good tool for accurate feedback, especially for the analysis of a recording.
But I do not think it is good to study (play) with it.
It is important to read the score and control the rhythm with no additional help (with the exception of a spare use of the metronome).
What is your opinion?

I've made many Synthesia tutorials and covers. My viewers learn in many different ways. I provide sheet music for those who prefer to read notes. The Synthesia tutorials are for people who have never learnt to read notes fluently, but learn by rote and memory. Personally, I don't learn that way. I'm a much better note reader than I am a memorizer haha. For the same reason, I personally don't learn through sites like Flowkey, but many people can and do. I'm in support of any method of learning that allows people to enjoy music that they love.

I used to do that too, until I was informed by publishers (like hal Leonard) that not paying licensing to them for each of my arrangements, was illegal. I was requested to take down my links. That's why I eventually partnered with Musicnotes to license and sell my sheets.

@@PianoMusicSheets they were not the first to offer to market my sheets. I was reluctant to charge for them, even though I knew I was giving up an income. However when musicnotes approached me and presented their offer, it seemed I couldn't put it off any longer, so I agreed. It's an exclusive contract, so I can't distribute anywhere else. However, they do offer a higher percentage than SMP, and I like their site and user interface better, so...

How long it takes to play this perfect?
Haha, that depends on your piano skills and how you practise. Some can learn it in a few minutes or hours. It's not difficult.
