Had a brake test incident come to court recently in Denmark, the car driver got a huge fine, loss of license and they confiscated his car! Bet he won’t try that again.

Adblue constant issue on most heavy industry engines, I work on 16L deutz v8’s on trains and the Adblue system is the main issue with faults, crystallisation on the injection nozzle is common due to the dropping exhaust temps when going from load to idle, pump can’t react quick enough to compensate for the temp drop so keeps pumping more in than what’s needed, pump and nozzle clean and a dpf regen is best way to keep things going for me!.
All that mud and water collecting under that cover probably isn't good for that taillight
Volvo / Renualt have always had issues with their adblue system. Its normally the injector that clogs up spraying the Adblue
Exactly this. I got 360000 k's from my Renault T, then the adblue system fault started, new adblue injector, job done. The Renault T is now on 510000k's with no further issues 👍
Nice little mix of a few diff things there Stavros. The joys I'm guessing of running trucks. Break downs.

Didn't drive proffessioanly as long as you have but I have encountered a surprisingly large number of these kind of idiots. Can't understand why someone would risk their life doing that to an hgv. If I do end up hitting him, he is gone.
you'd be suprised the amount of twats that do these things and people that pull out in front of you so you need to slam on because they don't want to get stuck behind a lorry.

They are doing the same even here. They overtake and slow down very quickly, that makes it hard to drive and sometimes the load can fall inside the trailer. Sometimes you put your indicators but they continue come up flying and don't give chance to go through where you were indicating to.

We have a fleet of Renaults and they all have adblue pump and wiring faults from time to time, just something you have to live with!

Hi Stav would you give us an update on your old truck fuel economy or did you just get a new driver and do you find them drive axle tyres noisey I had some on my truck and have had them swapped for different patern

I used to drive new Volvo trucks and they all had isuse with the sender unit in the ad blue tank. The company had an onsite Volvo technition and he was very awaire of the issue.
Strip the lamp down you should be able to get it dried out. Happened on my unit

I noticed that Scania reverse beepers go almost silent after a while. Obviously the water.
I'm a helper on a Merc bin lorry and that happens all day long won't go up the gears stuck in 3 turn it off turn it on load off crap . Wish me luck doing my c license test Tuesday 👍

I did hear that there is something to do with the strength of the adblue mixture that is different between British and mainland Europe supply that is causing problems. I’m guessing that your using the same stuff in Ireland and that might be the issue that your having. But only a guess.
We run a load of Renaults are our place and they are CONSTANTLY throwing up adblue and exhaust emissions faults. Some of them are only have about 10k km on them too. Wonder if this is what the issue is.

So it was a bmw driver that was acting the clown, and break checking you. That's so unusual. They are normally stuck up your hole
My first thought on that BMW, that brake checks you, is that it was a crash for cash. He was working with the red Passat and when it did not happen the way he wanted he was trying to make out he was drunk. Either way it is properly stupid.
