- College professor Karen Read is speaking out in the middle of her murder trial. She's accused of running over her boyfriend, a Boston cop, killing him. "It's smoke and mirrors and it's going through my private life and trying to contrive a motive that isn't there," Read says. The trial has been unfolding for eight weeks amid a groundswell of support for the 44-year-old college professor. Inside Edition's Alison Hall has more.
Way too much reasonable doubt and defense hasn’t even been up yet. Not looking good for state at this time.
The defense caught the prosecutor trying to enter doctored video of Ms. Read's SUV into evidence. If she's guilty, they wouldn't need to do that.
They need more evidence than text massages to convict her.

Not enough conclusive evidence, regardless of whether she did it or not the verdict should be not guilty. Thats how our judicial system works.

It's not about whether she did it or not. She clearly ran him over. But it's about intent. Can they prove beyond a reasonable doubt she did it in a jealous rage that it was premeditated. The prosecution can throw as many charges as they want. But It's not about what you know it's about what you can prove.

3 key items that people with no knowledge should know - There is video of her hitting her own parked car in her driveway prior to time of death, There is apple watch data from john showing going up and or down 3 sets of stairs, the same amount in the albert house he was found outside of after the time of death. . Finally the plow truck driver stated he had clear visibility and there was no body in the yard at 2am which was roughly 2 hours after supposed time of death.
Not to mention dog bites and scratches all over his arm. Then they got rid of the dog, tore up the basement floor, and sold the house for $50K under market value

Karen only smiles when she is communicating with her lawyers, Does not make her guilty, if I was innocent & not worried I would be smiling too. & all Lallys witnesses have been lying on me, but you know when it's your lawyers turn that your lawyer will make better sense of everything, I would be smiling too Can't wait until defense makes sense of what really happened. I been following this trial from the beginning reading comment some people just making up stuff. Karen was drunk dialing for God sakes, She was calling & leaving messages only cause they had a fight & why would she leave many voicemails if she already knew he was dead but the state just turned it around thats all.
