How can you know before any sales which upgrade to buy? Why have you bought an upgrade from sabre to a1 without having the sabre? How can you plan all this purchases ahead?

@giammaf81, That's the trick, right! CIG puts all ships up for sale at some point. From history, I know the Sabre will have a warbond sale at least one time or more this year at a future date. As the Sabre is a $170 US dollar ship I need to make sure the ship I currently have in the chain before the Sabre is below $150 US as the Sabre will usually have a $10-$20 discount based on past sales. If you want to play it really safe go with a value of no more than $140 like the Ballista or if trying to max the savings the Mantis at $150 is a good choice you just need to wait for it to be on sale if it is not always available.

Ty! A bit difficult for a new player without knowing the market but it’s all clear, I would like a c2 with LTI so I’ll wait till the next sales

@@giammaf81 Here is an example for getting the C2. I started with the Crucible to C2 first to get the $20 price to upgrade to the C2 when it was on sale saving $30. Then worked backward to fill in the chain. I had the Hoverquad up to the Nova Tank as the start of the chain before I purchased the C2 CCU.
      Hoverquad (LTI)$30
      Gladius $90 WBD$10
      Nova Tank$120 WBD$10
      Mantis$150 - No discount
      Gladiator$165 WBD$10
      Hornet Heartseeker$195 WBD$10
      Vanguard Warden $260 WBD$15
      Eclipse$300 WBD$20
      Caterpillar $330 WBD$25
      Crucible $350 - No discount
      C2 Hercules $400 WBD$30
If the Mantis or Crucible goes on sale at some point I melt the CCU w/o a discount and get a WB CCU as long as it will cost $5 or more from the previous ship in the chain.

That’s a huge chain! Ty for the explanation! I don’t have enough knowledge about the ships for doing this.. at least for now

Great video ! Let's say I want to go from a Mole to an Arrasta in the long run, should I for example go for a cheap warbond for the 600i Explorer (Like prowler to 600i) ?
Since the 600i might go up in price after the rework it might seem to be a good idea, and work towards the prowler from the mole over time, right ?

@lucasleplat8007, Great question, The more warbond CCU's to can be added in between the seed ship and the end ship the better. So work back from something like the following, Mole-->Caterpillar-->Crucible-->C2-->Prowler-->600i Explorer-->M2-->Arrasta. Get the warbond when you can, may take six months but you can save a lot of money if you work at it. I was able to get the Arrasta for a total of $330.00 US using 16 CCU's in total.

Great video, thanks. If you have a LTI ship then apply a warbond CCU, does the LTI insurance disappear? Ie it gets downgraded?
