I purchased it for my natural kinky curly hair after watching Kimberly Cherrell tutorial here on RUclips. The Octocurl created beautiful waves on her natural hair so I was sold. Bought it two days later. Can't wait to use it on my own hair!! Great invention 👍
Wow... thank you so much for the vote of confidence! Would love to hear how it goes for you... you can email me at goeasy@octocurl.com Thank you for being an "early adopter"! xoxo
I bought one a little while ago and I love it! I am not like a beauty person, this is the first time I've ever tried styling my hair and the octocurl makes it so easy and my hair doesn't hold curl well either so I was pleasantly to see my curls holding for two days with just some mousse!
Thank you Tiffany! Amazon has some limited inventory in their fulfillment centers but it is being checked in... we may run out of stock over the next week, but will have more inventory in January. Just so you are aware :) Thank you for your interest! Would love to hear your thoughts if you give it a try! goeasy@octocurl.com xoxo
Hello MizYell :) Amazon is checking in more black inventory now... should be available by the end of the week! Thank you for your interest. Would love any feedback or tips after you give it a try! xoxo
@@octocurl This sounds great I will be on the look out. I do have a small but wonderful suggestion for you! I am an all natural(my hair) African American. There is a very huge market of women of color who go months without putting heat on our hair to achieve length as well as to have healthy hair. Maybe you are already on the case but this product you have would be a huge hit in the African American community. We are always seeking out ways to make our hair look beautiful with no heat! Don"t overlook this market or showing women of color with this product. Something like this I believe will soar within the communities of color. If you are ever looking for someone who can be a model or maybe even do a review of this and post...I might be your girl😆. So proud that you put your thoughts into existence. Congrats to all your success now and all the blessings you will receive in the future😄😄😄

Everyone's hair is different, but I like to barely dampen and then allow it to dry for 2-3 hours. Longer does seem to create a stronger curl set, but the most important factor is to make sure your hair goes from damp to completely dry. Hope that helps! 🩷
I think using these names makes it LESS inclusive, honestly. And, though I can't speak for Black people, I think most would agree that these names are inappropriate. Actually consult Black people before assuming using these names just makes your brand inclusive. I hope you take this feedback seriously and don't just dismiss it. If you take action to change this right away you save yourself offending people in the future. And I don't know why you would choose to stay ignorant to this and potentially offend people.
@@hologramanda I no longer use names at all to describe the methods. This is already reflected in my printed materials and I will soon be taking the old videos down as I'm working on new ones. Inclusivity in the beauty category is important and I do my best to honor that... so yes, feedback is invaluable and I do listen and respond.

@@octocurl thank you for doing the work to actually go out and find resources, learn from them, admit to your mistakes, change them, and apologize. If everyone reacted that way when learning about inclusivity the world would be a much better place 👍

So pretty. I bought one from you but haven’t used it much since my hair was shorter. I’m growing my hair out and am looking forward to using it more.
Hi Tamara! Thank you! I hope it works well for you! We do have a shorter version now as well! 💗Carolyn

Looks so pretty. My hair is naturally wavy so it should hold the curl without product just fine. 😊
Thanks for sharing!!

Ok thank u have a good night
I am trying to use it but I can't see what you are doing with the first loop of the double strand.
Hello! Here's a better tutorial showing how to tie off the ends. Hope this helps!

I have such a hard time tying up the ends with the elastics, I can never figure out how to get it and have to use my own hair tie

This is way too many for someone with fine hair. It was really difficult and ended up being a big mess.
I'm so sorry to hear that, but appreciate you giving it a try! We have a new version coming out in August that might work better for you! 💕
I would advise maybe not calling them "dreadlock style" and "Bantu knot style"
I value inclusiveness so this is not intended to be disrespectful, but I appreciate the feedback! 💛
