You could also argue that Alice in Chains is "Grunge w/Harmony:" as well. The only difference was their harmony lacked the SOUL of the Mighty Railroad!
i agree with jasper 100%!!!!!
Oh Lord!! One of my favorite songs!!! 🔥🎸 Mark Farner!! Too bad the band listened to bad advice from record execs to change their sound. They're first few albums were unadulterated fire!! You gotta hear "Closer to Home"!
From On Time through E Pluribus Funk no one came close to Grand Funk Railroad they were the #1 band in the world
It's amazing how much sound they produced with a basic drum set up guitar, bass and harmonica... Just a badass band with soul!!
I feel like my daughter is finally listening to my record collection with me
Saw them in Tampa 1970 live and all I can say is, it was my all-time favorite rock concert.
Really enjoyed watching your reaction to this! 😁
Enjoyed this and all your reactions.
Grand Funk Railroad was the Very First Band I ever saw Live in Concert in Houston Texas in 1972.
I seen them in Houston too at the Hopheinz Pavilion that year I think.
Great band. You might also like GFR's "Bad Time (to Be in Love)" and "Some Kind of Wonderful."
Shinin' On is another great song from GFR
You have so many vids. Have you done Stevie Ray Vaughan yet? Montreaux 1985 Tin Pan Alley with Johnny Copeland. Try it. You will enjoy it!
I don't know which was more fun. Watching Grand Funk or watch you watch Grand Funk...
My brother from another mother, called me and said, man you have to see this video from a band named Grand Funk Railroad. He said the singer is white but he moves and plays like he's been tampered with.....I said brother your 50 yrs late.
Oh my god good choice I forgot about that song I haven't heard it since I was a little kid
The sound of that Bass at that time was mind blowing because nobody else was doing it then. It’s been fifty some odd years but still know the words of the song.
Keep them on your channel India. Grand funk is one of my favorite bands
Her reaction is mine...50 years ago when I first her them..they were the power 3....they with others of the period..Yes...Guess Who..Hendrix..etc...got me hooked on rock...when it was at it's best...by the mid 70s...rock was transforming...
