I've upgraded to my card to a AMD 7970 and I'm making roughly 1.5 btc a month at current difficulty. If prices stay high that's worth my time. Nvidia cards are much less powerful when it comes to mining, unless the price shoots up it doesn't make a ton of sense to mine with a 680.
I need some help. I have the latest AMD downloaded, but I have no clue how to connected it with GUIminer so I can use my GPU card to mine. I know I'm using all the wrong terms here, I'm just starting out, but knowledgeable enough to know that CPU mining is shit. Can you help me please?
I am trying to sign up for Slush's pool but I am stuck at the end where it asks for an address, because from googling I learned that the address changes each time and that users have multiple addresses, am I just supposed to give them a random address or something more specific. Please help if you know.

nVidia cards does not work as effectively as AMD GPUs... I got 2x 560Ti working at 180 Mhash/s, a single AMD 5870 does ~400 Mhash/s. Not worth to use your nVidia card of you want to make money, but to test how it works, sure :)

No prob, dude. I have no idea why all the current resources make everything so damn complicated.
How can i mine with only the CPU ,without the OPen CL?
Ok thx for that answer. Probably wouldn´t make sense anyway considering the power draw and costs of electricity. Anyway thx for the info
awesome started working as soon as I used your address thanks man.
How long does it take for your progress to show up on Slush's pool? GUIminer is running but my account doesn't show it's mining.
So did you get anything out of this method? Thinking about doing this with my GTX680, but a lot of people are saying bitcoin mining is dead.
Thanks for doing this video, it was helpful and the "fuckin spotify ads" made my day. :D
You are the best dude! This is so helpfull.

Unless you have a REAL powerhouse it's not a good idea. You might mine for 2 years and never find a single block....
it said nothing to mine on exiting wtf? :(

Not for mining....
+LyykNevaDies If you are seriously getting 2.2MH/S, you need to stop using human faeces as a graphics card.
My Gigabyte 7970 Ghz edition destroys the gtx titan in mining
Websites are malicious.
I had the same, seems GUIMiner has the wrong address by default, to edit:
