Cant believe what happened this weekend. On cloud 9 at the moment. 2x 8 second passes and the win in the 6 cylinder class at Doorslammers 2022 at Santa Pod Raceway.

My favorite car of all time. I have a b5234t9 that runs 12s in p80 chassis. But my first car was a mk3 golf that was slow as hell but I loved it. Best of both worlds....

I love this 💚💚💚💚What kind of transmission you're using on this setup, I would love some pointers please I have a 1998 c70 with darton sleeves and k1 rods and ge pistons, I would like to make at least 700hp
It's a quaife gearbox, I once ran darton sleeves and they were nothing but trouble. I went back to an OE block which has been reliable. 👍
Congratulations man. Been following this for some time, very impressive. I've just picked up the same 4t3 block. You mentioned yours was a "windowed" block - could you elaborate on this please?
Cheers man. Well by windowed I mean it's got windows at the bottom of the bores. All volvo blocks have this newer than 1998.

Whats 0-60 mph ? And top speed
My Dragy says 2.2 seconds to 60mph authough I forgot to charge it this weekend and my 60ft improved. Gearing is around 200mph on the rev limiter.
@@VolvoT5Golf surely it will do 1's to 60? And I'd imagine with the right gearing about 240mph ? What a car ! The best standard Ish looking hot hatch with better than supercar performance I've ever witnessed. Is it a road car too ?
@@fasteee Yeh its road legal. Thankyou, pleased you like it. If it was taller geared I'm sure it would carry on past 200 but it's only a 5 speed box and I'd be scared to anyway 😂
