Varuval South Indian style is crisp and crunchy. This is more like northern Indian style. South indian varuval is fried shallow fry or deep fry and only salt and redchilly powder is sprinkled. Your recipe is perfect but the name is chosen incorreclly! Sorry for pointing out!
This potato curry looks great! Almost the same way I make it, except I add salt in layers, with a half teaspoon after I add the potatoes and toss the potatoes so they can get seasoned. Thank you for sharing!
