I bought one of these 2yrs ago,I have arthritis and can't walk for long, it has to be one of the best things I've ever bought, it comes everywhere with me, extremely useful when I'm waiting for a taxi outside supermarkets or going on a walk, we'll worth buying.

Just got back from a 5-day summer camp, and let me tell you this: I wish I could have found this thing before going, lmao! The amount of standing this thing would have prevented me from doing is IMMENSE. I appreciate the review! Seems like a pretty solid product!

I've used one for years, sitting upon it to inflate my kayak and throwing it in the stern storage. The compact size makes it ideal for storing in the backpack with the rest of my gear.

I'm looking for one for the same reason. It seems to be the same height as a clunky folding chair I take to gigs. My only concerns are the noisy aspect and durability. Amazon reviews show some failure.
so Now , , when I got mine? it comes with a carry plastic bag , for the pad.. so now ? you can carry it , with the pad.. , no worries.. its Great , and your videos are great too... have to say thanks.. and hope to see more of your videos , there great.
I picked up virtually the same competitive product that has a round, rather than a square seat and didn't come with the seat pad. We took them camping last weekend and found them very useful. So compact and light weight and easy to set up. Great as a stool for adults and can be height adjusted lower for little people. Makes a good little side table to set a drink on or place a board across two stools to make a bench or a low counter at the camp kitchen. I'll keep two in my vehicle and they will definitely be going camping.

Thanks for the review! I just ordered one like this with the square seat & pad that comes with carrying bag that’s rated for 550lbs.
I got it mostly to pack on my ATV but it’s going to be very useful for me. I’ve had 2 back surgeries & I can’t stand very long. This will be perfect to take with me everywhere I go.
I got it & as I was sitting it fell apart.
Did I do something wrong or is this a pice of junk.
I’ll get it replaced & try again. I really want this to work for me.

they should put a "hinge" on that seat cushion, or cutout a circle in the middle so you can access the finger holes, and have the cushion glued on.
Thanks for the review. I just bought a clone of this, with a round seat instead of square-ish. Also mine didn't come with a cushion. I guess that's what the $12 price difference buys. I got it for hunting, LOL, but you're right, it's a bit squeaky. Maybe I'll just keep in the car for random times I need a chair.

I bought 2 for $35 on ebay... cute small investment that's easy to carry, lightweight, sturdy and convenient for those long waits and crowded events... I'm happy I purchased them.. I give them a 10 out of 10

Oh... just to mention.. be careful if you're over 250 lbs.. its actually iffy on the weight thing.. my man is 220 and it's fine..but my sister is about 340..and it was a hot mess😮
Ladies if you have nails...i suggest you pull it apart sitting down and separate it with your knees and palms and locking it in place with your palms..as you start the position it will be clear
The finger holes do not support long nails..but after you get the hang of it..its pretty easy

they should have made the seat and the cushion with a magnetic button (type) magnet in the middle of the two holes on the top so the seat would stay in place while carrying, and easily removed so as to be able to extend the seat!
I totally agree.
As far as the cushion goes I was thinking about sewing a small loop and using a carabineer to connect the cushion & stool to my tool bag.

I bought a similar one with seat pad cover. Let me tell you, it is so hard, like sitting on a rock. Even with the pad, it's very uncomfortable to sit on. Suggest you only have to sit for about 15 minutes or less.

Wonder if you could modify the finger holes on top so the cushion "pops" in place securely.
I used adhesive backed Velcro and it works great at keeping the pad in place.
I bought a similar stool, same design (YPaymore Collapsible Stool with Strap for Camping...) and it failed the first time I used it and I went crashing to the ground on my butt. Be careful! Amazon no longer sells it so maybe it was recalled but it was the same design and looked identical to this one.

I just got one off amazon you have to make sure you lock it the right way then after i did i put my hands on it to press down to make it it was right then i sat down easy on it i did not fall on it. It works for me if you don't lock it right you can fall
It's been a year (according to RUclips) since this review - has this stool stood up to your work stresses? Is the cushion still comfortable?
Yes. Admittedly I only use it a couple times a month but everything still works.

I have used it on gravel and grass and it works great. The base spreads out the weight very equally.

1 - As stated at 00:52 in the video it can hold 220kg. I would not recommend standing on it. It has give in all directions.

I have bought one recently but I can’t close it. I can get the telescopic to close but then it doesn’t lock close. If you understand what I mean? Can anybody help?
Sit it on your knees and look wich way those little bumps lock..twist lightly in the opposite direction
Can it really hold the weight it claims it can hold? I'm looking at getting this or similar but i'm weary due to the weight as i've had chairs and stools in the past that say they can hold my weight but then they collapse when i sit on them :(
I did not test the maximum claimed weight capability.
Yes they are very strong i just got one and it said it can hold up to 400lbs I am like 275 and it holds me i am a over weight girl. I got it so when i go on my walks and my back starts to hurt i can sit down to rest then get back up to walk just make sure you lock it in place the right way you should be fine.

The whole thing is even good, only this pillow has the disadvantage of falling. In my opinion, she should have some catches so that she doesn't fall. For example, a magnet . Am I wrong? It would be useful for my wife, who has to rest from time to time during a walk due to knee pain.

No I don’t.
I had the same idea and I tried.
You can step with one foot on it and step up if you lean on a wall with a hand or pull up on a door frame.
It´s not advisable to step on hands-free. I think it will tip.
And you don´t have enough place for both feet.
The outer edge is not stable for some centimeters.

No
should be fine, rated for 220kg.
It is definitely not stable enough to be used as a step stool. It wobbles.
@@houseonthemend not even when fully extended. i was hoping to use as a seat and stool when camping to attach my tent extension. if not suitable, give it a pass.

Great question. I don’t believe there is any risk of it “suddenly retracting”. I think the biggest challenge for seniors will be opening it.
@@houseonthemendi also saw many reviews of it breaking most right away and some after an hour or so of sitting on it, i already bought one but i feared for my parents safety and i can't make my mind up on it, and i am pretty sure mine has less quality so what do you suggest

You do an ok review but you did a very poor job on how to properly open the unit, making sure it's properly engaged for sitting, and how to collapse properly..
Im elderly, disabled, almost blind and only weigh 115 pounds.
Don't assume that because this unit is extended that it safe to sit. You must make sure the pieces have fully locked together. If not, they slip and you go crashing to the ground.
Would have been nice if someone would have explained this detail.
You should redo your video. Less glamour shots of you sitting and more detail on proper usage.
My boney butt still hurts.
