An Arkansas mechanic, Shawn Bresnahan, posted bodycam footage of himself on social media, claiming that law enforcement "violated his rights and stole his car." Bresnahan was confronted by Greenbrier police in his driveway when he returned from a test drive of the car he repaired. He was then detained at his home for a traffic violation and his vehicle was impounded due to a suspended license. Bresnahan and other locals have raised concerns about law enforcement conduct and fairness after the incident. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie breaks down the controversial story.

This is another case of failed administrative work. If this man isn't with a suspended licence, then the system that tracks licence registration failed this whole situation. And the cop didn't need to cuff up Shawn for a detainment over a suspended licence
was probably because he was trying to go into the house and argue while detained and not just because his license was suspended
Absolutely, if the jackals had quit squirreling around, trying to go into his house where he may very well had loaded weapons, and walking back and forth, basically acting suspicious he wouldn't have needed to be cuffed for the officer's safety. Clearly he's a low life two bit criminal because of what's already on his record. The officer was fine, these argumentative, combative low life's are not trustworthy upstanding citizens.
Looks to me that he sat there and had evidence from a judge that the suspsension was an error. Driving without insurance is an issue but to tow the car, that's uncalled for with a 1st time offence@@avoidemailingme

If he doesn't give a crap, why would you suggest he be a 911 dispatcher?!? Dispatching is an extremely important, stressful job. Dispatchers must be calm, cool, collected, & be able to listen! I was a 911 dispatcher. Put a lousy cop in a dispatcher's chair & you'll have a lousy dispatcher!

I did and was denied. My wife called 5 minutes later and was able to have a sergeant sent out but it did no good as he was just far less than useful and seemed to be intimidated by Emberton.

Best thing to do is stay to stay calm and notify the officer that you are only going to answer his questions with legal representation.

If you are detained you have a right to remain silent and to have a attorney when questioned. Also suspended license is not a moving violation. Best to remain silent as this a fishing expedition for drugs.

I had a cop like this when i was in highschool. Arrested me for 0.1g of a marijuana flake. It was such a small amount they had to use multiple test kits to get it to register as marijuana lol.
