HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 14 авг 2024
- Holy cow! This was way more complicated than I ever expected... oh...and did I mention that 3 more rare blue dev disks showed up after my last video!? Thankfully Tony from @Hard4Games flew from Detroit to Seattle to help me discover what is on my mystery blue disk, whether there was anything on the other 3 disks AND backup the firmware of the drive itself! It's an epic tale full of mystery, intrigue and excitement!

There’s probably that one grandma that has Ura Zelda in her attic because her grandson worked at Nintendo and she never knew what she had
No, only people's uncle's work at Nintendo....
Just Vienna the only real reason to have the DD lets be real lmao
That Grandma is dead if her grandson was alive in those days
Ben Dover hahaha
Oh I have Ura Zelda 64DD!, it’s just in my garbage, let me go get it to show you.
*Goes to a retro video game store and takes off the games sticker and applies white tape on the front and writes Ura Zelda 64DD on it*
Here it is *(posts faked image on Facebook) lol
The site www.64dd.org was updated TODAY with all the latest info. Go check it out!
Awesome stuff, what an amazing find.
I feel like I'm listening to Nathan Drake talk about treasure, but instead of gold you spoke of videogames. Splendid good sir. *golf claps*
will you be releasing a vid if someone region swaps game from JAP to US and dumps it to a cart? would be neat just to see it work.
metal jesus's DD
Wow! This is great!
That was a great collab. It was interesting learning about this DD.
AcidGlow what's up brotha , u and Mr h are my sources for all things preddy in nature
Hey I have some useless insight! Haha. In 1995 I briefly attended (and dropped out) of a videogame development program, partially sponsored by Nintendo at a school called Digipen Institute of Technology, in Vancouver, BC. We had at least one of these development systems. I never got anywhere near to the point of using one, but it required a knowledge of this brutal 'Assembly' programming language (and C++ etc.) to create anything. Founder of the school Claude Comair soon moved the school to Redman, WA, where he also started the Nintendo Software Technology Center. I bet he, or past students/employees of his schools have some of those old blue cartridges with student projects on them kicking around in storage. May be where your development system originated
Giggidygiggidy3 that's super interesting.. Thanks for sharing.
way to prove u a quitter
The hunt begins
Giggidygiggidy3
Now let's hope this information isn't lost
>Stumbles across 1-of-a-kind American unit
>Finds floppy with one-of-a-kind software inside it
>Dumps the bios and floppy
>Uploads them to the internet without trying to charge anyone a single penny.
Jesus Christ, this man has earned his user name.
Good guy MetalJesus
You'd have to be pure evil to hold back something this cool from the world. :D I mean, it's still not Mother 3, but stuff like that is more like a holy grail that could never be found. This stuff is still really sweet!
+BusterTheFox hey you never know, what if someone brings forth a blue disk with a beta/alpha on it of mother 3 lol.
Greg Savacool Ha, well, if I had something like that, I'd try and get it dumped ASAP, personally. But I'm sure a bunch of people in the EB community would all chip in if somebody who cared less had it and was trying to sell it!
It's also illegal to distribute ROM's for free without the copyright owner's permission, so the game downloads on 64dd.org are technically illegal (although Nintendo probably doesn't consider it worthwhile to take legal action)
Really happy to have helped you out, guys. :D
Are you the one with the 3 disks
No, but I'm the guy who wrote the dumpers, I'm LuigiBlood. :D
Is Luigis blood red?
That's up to interpretation :D
Good work, bro! I'm still so jelly MJ has that blue dev! :/
Both of you have become a part of history, congratulations!
Also LuigiBlood & others.
lmao? yes its interesting he acquired some old non-relevant testing hardware created by nintendo but ......becoming a part of history? i wouldn't go that far.
@@NotoriousMastaG Its a part of Nintendo history.
I'm not really a "gamer" but youtube linked me here somehow and it seemed a interesting topic, Just thought all you gamer folk deserve a big shout out, seems to be a lot of cool people in the gaming community and I love how it all seems a community effort and how you reach out to each other etc. So from a non-gamer let me say well done to everyone involved, keep up the good work and I hope this gaming community thing stays ever strong.
ed loud the retro gaming community is pretty awesome.
ed loud I would recommend joining the community! Trust me, it's not as horrible as the Mainstream media make it out to be. We're very welcoming! 😁😁😁
You from the '60s or something, Ed? Just seems kind of funny the way you mention this. Gaming is a part of pop culture these days pretty much worldwide and even these sort of sub-genre "retro games" are pretty mainstream - retro is code for being a young gamer that likes games older than they are. ;)
ed loud that's a very cool and nice thing to say. I wish everyone could give a nod to other hobbies without so much hatred and mean attitudes because your doing something they think is dumb. Hell yeah. I personally appreciate your comment friend.
Oh because gaming communities haven't been around for decades, right...
I have 2 of these blue disk, after my brother passed away, I got his whole n64 collection and he had 2 of these, I had no clue what they were until I saw this video.
Well I would suggest to try to get them checked, if you ask me :D
+jupton198828 please contact me either view Facebook or my website and let's chat!
Definitely have them checked out. You never know, there might be something on them!
that's awesome!

My cousin has about 8-10 or so blue disks. Ill get in touch with him. He got them in a lot of 64DD games from yahoo japan. I remember him complaining about how he couldnt get them to work, hopefully he still has them and didnt sell them off.
I hope he still has them. I would like to hear more about it. -LuigiBlood
duuuuuude. you gotta get him to send those in.
I'd be happy to read them like I did with Metal Jesus' disk. Any chance of getting in touch with your cousin? - Tony

I know what that bouncing ball demo was if you haven't figured it out yet.. It's one of the demos that come with the software development kit. There are about 15 different demos. I assume that they are out there in compiled form but hit me up if you can't find anything. You're looking for the libUltra demos.
I love how Tony's just casually drinking a beer the whole time. Really chill guy.
Tony is one of the best guests you've ever had. Very natural! Love the video
Kelsey is also good though!
i like all guests XD
Definitely!
+Tech Leo Reggie's the best though! :D
+Tech Leo her 64 dd is the best 😆
Send both to Ben Heck for dismantling! Would be very interesting to see the differences, and he's more than competent to do it without breaking anything.
Yes, please get Ben Heck in on this one!
Exactly what I was thinking!
yea get ben heck. he fixed the nintendo playstation.
Fuck Ben HACK.
+Jayson Tutus Fuck GAYson Tutus, see I can do wordplay too!
Damn it could have been superman 64-2 the Revenge of the Rings
Lol, I just imagine Superman on the ground screaming "NO, NOT THE RINGS". XD
Randy Butternubs lol man that game was so horrible
Lmao
Lool that scuffed game
Or Superman 65! Heh...heh...hehhhh....
Have there been any developments since this video came out?
I'd love to see an update on what the community has acheived, whether it be reading other disks or creating emulators or making fan games.
Ratchet4647 quite a few, mainly thanks to luigiblood. He developed an emulator and a mod, check them out at 64dd.org
So it wasn't Superman 64 DD. Dang.
With the N64DD, we can now see the true version of Superman 64. Now with one billion rings! There's no time to waste!
Rings!!! LOL
yeah that was the game we all wanted the most!
after all superman 64 was a masterpiece, ..obviously!
I want Earthbound 64 :-(
No Sonic.exe 64 DD....double-dang
I think what we see here is the reason it was released so late, and only by mail order in Japan. They were still testing the actual hardware that late in development, which points to that they couldn't get it to be reliable enough.
The whole point of Project Reality was really a (floppy) cartridge disc drive, but they split the project in two, releasing a regular cartridge machine first and then 2 years later the disc drive, when they could get it to work the way they wanted. But that unfortunately never happened.
It wasn't just a peripheral, it was the second half of the machine, completing it. When they realized the second half would be late to the party, and possibly never show up at all, they started to rescue as many assets they could that they had created for it, mostly meaning porting games in development for the disc drive to cartridge. The 8MB RAM was an integral part of it. I can't help but wondering what was cut from those games. Where there more and/or larger areas in Zelda OoT? More enemies and characters on screen? Dazzling to think that the greatest game of all time maybe was even greater.
OoT is a great game and a big influence for all the following 3D console action games, but I wouldn't go as far as calling it the greatest game ever. It hasn't aged that well compared to some other games of this era.
I like how casually Jason just says, "hard4games" lol.
Im so happy to finally see an update on the DD! I collect N64 stuff and if I find any blue disks before you (we're both in the Seattle area!) I'll be sure to send them your way!
The blue disc being packaged with the only US 64DD makes a lot of sense to me actually. I'm willing to bet it was a prototype that was to be shipped to a partner and the blue disc was the English version of the DEV tool for that partner. I was a bit surprised that the writing wasn't in katakana on the menu that you displayed.
I guess finding nothing on the blue disks it is the video game equivalent of Geraldo Rivera finding nothing from Al Capone's vaults.
This.
Sometimes nothing IS something. True, Al’s vault was empty, but they instead found out how Capone was able to quickly go from a crime , to the other side of the city unseen. He had access to the city’s underground rail system.
I guess in his defense, he didn't promise Earthbound 64 would absolutely be on one of the disks and then cop out.
Question: If these disks easily get de-magnetized, would it not happen if you shipped a disk in the mail as well? Even on airplanes or the lugage transporter bands surely has some magentic interference.
+Vaskedama you have to tell the post office to ship as "Media"
MetalJesusRocks Shoot I'd just drive it to your house my self. Not gonna take no chances on missing out on an Ura Zelda rom file.
Or Twelve Tales: Conker 64
Fact is they don't get easily demagnetized.
I've seen only one other blue disk with something on it (that can be run by the 64DD) and that disk featured the bouncing balls.
That animation is actually sample code from the N64 SDK.
However, I have never seen the menu that is present on yours. That is seemingly unique.
I've been anticipating this since you first announced it. this is really cool.
really cool seeing Tony here too, been following Hard4Games for ages
*waits for 64DD emulator*
*waits for a TLoZ 64DD fangame*
64DD emulator already exists :D
everdrive 64 v2 can play 64DD and Alek 64 games.
***** Technically, it can just play hacked versions of them. Not the actual 64DD dumps.
Get an EverDrive 64. I have every 64DD game on it!
64DD has been emulated. Support was added to Project64, MESS, and CEN64.
Wow... great video. I too was shocked that the 64dd US version existed. Great Find!!!
Can we not talk about the 64DD please. Anita Sarkessian is going to have a fit at that name.
+redeemer6666 Don't forget batman's cape is designed to hide his butt but every other game with a female it's all about their ass
+redeemer6666 Um the guys in street fighter are hyper muscular and sexualized. Normal my ass. SF is full of sex symbols from both genders.
+redeemer6666 Feminists are just a cult of man hating sociopaths.
Equality is good but they want to be above men without any of the drawbacks of being a man.
You triggered my PTSD by bringing up her name.
great to see both my N64 projects used here!
props for deciding to release the IPL as well.
well done.. u are leading to new discoveries in gaming history.. HAHA.. gotta love this obscure mystery stuff.
Word!
ikr theres a whole undiscovered world and history of gaming thats only recently started to leak from the....void...
these guys have the love for games that the industry now days lacks, we need more individuals like them in the gaming industry
Tony's from Detroit?
But he's so nice.
Of course I'm nice!
Long live Tony and his magical Developer Unit! Seriously could you imagine how much of this would've remained lost if you didn't have that? Seriously awesome.
enigmaxaero been to Detroit once, all I can say is I'm not going back.
enigmaxaero I'm from Detroit
enigmaxaero - he's white.
You're writing history! I'm sure you will be remembered in future researches about the N64 and I'll feel proud for following your discoveries!
So you mean the box labeled "unreleased misc" of blue disc games I got in the musty old basement next to my industrial magnet isn't safe?
Is Mayonaise an blue n64dd disk?
No, Patrick, Mayonaise is not a blue n64DD disk.
Horseradish is not a blue N64DD disk either, Patrick.
No Let's Cringe, mayonnaise is not an n64dd disk.
Maybe I dunno
Let's Cringe no
I'm curious to know what something like this would be valued at. Being that it is 1 of 1, it must be quite valuable.
The value is whatever he sets the price at essentially cause if its 1 of 1 then he literally owns the whole market lolol
and Tim Atwood probably has 10 of the american 64dd new in the box SEALED!
and every game possible
It's spelled 'Martin Shkreli'

Can't believe this video is almost 5 years, it feels like 2
11:21 press start to dump
let's dump! Don't turn off the console amazing! XD
Oh boy it would be amazing if someone had a beta copy of Mother 3/ Earthbound 64 Fall Of The Pig King but the chances of there being a copy floating out there are very slim however a very long time ago I've heard a rumor that there could be possibly 8 prototypes our there somewhere.
out I mean
H4G rules! Hope they get the recognition they deserve after this video.
definitely earned a sub!
Thanks! :)
Vidja Gamer Nope. Nintendo filed a lawsuit and took all of the credit
Instasub
Eric Hoffman makes sense the way Nintendo's been this past decade
Dear MJR. I've found a blue disk in Spain. All details seems to match with an original. The owner really have no idea what he has. If somehow I manage to get my hands on it, and due I do not posses an 64DD, can I send it to you guys so can back it up and check the content? Looking forward to hear from you.
Contact him via Twitter, I doubt he can check this comment from.a video 2 years old. Best of luck! Hope it is Earthbound 64
Contact him on Twitter or Email him
Any update?
any updates with this?
I know this video is old but as soon as I saw your first 64DD video, my mind instantly went to Hard4Games for help on dumping the cartridge. So glad you got him to check it out, this is one for the history books!
Metal Jesus, post this on 4chan /v/ and on NeoGaf forums
If you want to do that for me, I would appreciate it :)

You should be ashamed of yourself

Yes I will
***** It's about exposure of the message. The more people it reaches, the better

Do you really think /v/ gives a shit about this? Post it in /vr/ and let people who actually care about retro consoles know about this, instead of immature memesters who don't play videogames at all.
I wonder if Tony has to stand on a box too lol
yes , the same i think
Lol no I didn't stand on a box. I'm 5' 11". I was tempted though...
Maybe MJ is just really short and has everyone stand in a hole next to him. ;)
Space Asylum RRRiiiiiiiigght!!!!!! that should be
Huge fan. This is one of the coolest videos you've ever made! I can't wait to see emulation and home brews and games!
This has been an amazing week. Thank you MJR and H4G for making me fall in love with the 64DD again! And especially LuigiBlood for hosting the site and making all of this possible! Here's hoping there are more good times to come, cheers!
Thumbs up to everyone for their hard work in breaking down this mystery! Can't wait to see what's found next!
God, I miss the West Coast sometimes. Seattle really is a magical place. And they have Taco Time.
+maximumdoggie I took Tony to Taco Time while he was here!! :)
Seattle does seem pretty nice! I'm from the Chicago land area but I'd move to Seattle!
no lie I ate a crisp beef burrito meal with a sprite and 2 hot sauces last night , taco time slaps like Ike Turner lol
Those bouncing balls are Hubble Space Telescope Images of Mars. When this thing was made Mars was all over the news with the disputed claims of Mars fossils and the Mars Pathfinder mission.
Thank you for putting the dumps online. Genuine contribution to mankind. Thank you.
7:50 regarding your question, I didn't use floppy disks that often but I do not recall a time when the data was just lost entirely. They couldn't store a lot but they always seemed to work for me when I used them.
I can't say that about flash drives, hard drives or a gift ipod that was preloaded with thousands of hit songs.
We didn't save homework on floppies to bring to school. We bought packs of floppies to bring to school, download ROMs, saved in zips over multiple floppes, and bring that *home*.
It was an innocent time.
I remember seeing that thing. But in Denmark it was advertised as being something so I could play games online. :D Can't remember if it also had a drive. ^^ But I think so. It looked like that. Remember seeing the pictures and thinking it was cool as fuck. xD
Wow virkelig?! Pictures or it didn't happen! #hope
I remember seeing it in some Danish magazine as well.
NextdoorGamer Sounds familiar. Can't remember what magazine it was but I probably still have it somewhere.
NextdoorGamer That sounds less familiar. I might have seen it in another magazine then.
+NextdoorGamer can you take a picture of it or scan it in?
This is why i'm a lifetime gamer, these kind of 'adventures of discovery and creativity' with pieces of gaming history. From one Sega lover to another, I gotta give you props on this discovery, and your collection!
2:04 Correction, Japanese television is NTSC as well.
Metaljesus is the nicest youtuber thee its I love your channel I hope you channel doesn't get affected by the RUclips policy
I don't excessively swear, show nudity or show exploding kittens, so I'm probably ok.
+MetalJesusRocks game chasers are screwed
Yeah
I highly doubt the policy is gonna last long.
Google might not agree on which games are good etc though, and since all opinions are not "advertiser friendly..... ;)
Been waiting for this video for a while! Very interesting. Nice work Jesus!
Awesome show! Great to see people out there so passionate about what they do, I watched this all the way through and it was very interesting. Thanks for your contribution!
This is amazing! Congratulations on the awesome find and good luck with the search. Thanks a bunch for sharing this with the world.
This is awesome stuff... very intriguing.
I have 5 of these blue discs I bought them with an n64 at a garage sales a few years ago but there no use to me
Usually a 64DD dev kit comes with 5 blue disks. Who knows if one of them have something in it. :D
Send them to them haha
Send them to @metaljesusrocks
If you really have them, please consider sending them to these guys or some other collector.
Have you talked to anybody? Because else I would suggest to talk to me in private and we could see what we could do about your blue disks.
This is actually so cool! When you guys mentioned the developing potential for emulating something that essentially was previously UNKNOWN is HISTORICAL
Ahhh its like reliving the Al Capone vault incident all over again!!
Yuuuup
Metal jesus rocks u have gotta do a followup episode this is incredible
i think this is the follow up ep
@@stonaraptor8196 a follow up to a follow up.
It looks like a Zip drive in a way.

And huge ups to Luigiblood for hammering out a new version of his program for a one of a kind drive that worked first try
Oh my gosh, this is freaking awesome.
Hell yeah!

"how many of you 80s kids..." man, there were no computers in my School untill the end of the 90s
what school have you been to o.O?
+Stona Raptor i Live in the richest city of Brazil, my dear... some places here don't even have chairs.
Leandro Lopes Pereira
ok, grew up in Switzerland. We had some high tech shit back in the 90' in our schools
Some weeks ago there was the discover if a new specimen of whales and then the found some bones of it in a middle school. Wow. Mine didn't even have a library hahahaha. And that, as said before, is because I live in a big city. The first time I saw a computer on my school was 1995 but some students (like me) had computer on their houses.
Sounds familiar. My elementary school had one(!) 8-bit Videoton TV Computer from around the end of the 80s to teach BASIC programming for entire classes. Then it went bad and was replaced by the teacher's own Commodore Plus/4. Up until 1995, when the school got a few 386 based PCs, which were in use up to the mid 2000s. For millions worth of money!
One of my classmates was the cool kid for owning a Commodore 64 at home with a few cassette tapes of copied games, well into the late 90s!
I was bringing tons of floppy disks into a netcafe in the mid 2000s just to download and take home a ~20MB game (splitting the ZIP file into tiny pieces). One always went bad I could screw the entire download.
Just discovered your channel. This is so amazing. I didn't know that many people were as obsessed with these kinds of thing as I am.
How did I know upon clicking on this that Hard4games would show up! This looks like it's going to be a great collab and an interesting video!
Making History!!! God I love this channel!
so... any new updates on the software and stuff?
Oh!! I live in San Jose, California, and I used to live in Sacramento, California. I had a storage unit in Sacramento, and I remember seeing blue disks VERY similar to those ones. I don't know if my storage unit has been cleared as its been a little while, but I can go check and see if everything is there still. If it's still there and it IS indeed a set of N64DD floppy's, I would be more than willing to mail them over. I think it was a total of 5. I'll let you know! This is exciting!
If it's 5, that's cool, because devs usually have 5 blue disks that comes with the 64DD development kit.
Is that so? Wow, so it might be a set that has different parts of data on the disks? Assuming that's the case and these are not random ones, that's actually pretty cool
Well not really different parts of data, it's just 5 disks to be used however they want. If they wanted to make a game that uses 2 disks or more they could with those.
Ah, okay ^^
Good a follow up, was curious what the disc is. Thanks!
Could you write the no-extra-hardware firmware to a different dev unit?
This is the most important question!
POST THIS ON REDDIT! Maybe you will find someone with blue disks
Great video as always. Been watching your channel for a year now and have never been disappointed.
I love keeping up with these 64DD updates, you guys rock. Hope you find something good! I'll be waiting!
I kinda feel like that screen could be for the DBZ game that was listed in the last 64dd video. Given there are 7 balls, 7 dragon balls, and they have a very similar orange tint.
We have entered The Twilight Zone
N64 Style...........
How long until we find that single playable demo of Super Mario 64 2 Nintendo said they made but never showed off publicly?
...That question has been bothering me for years.
「edgelordsʟᴀᴅᴇʀ」 they have it. It's on machines in Japan right now just sitting.
It's actually Super Mario 128 for the Gamecube, I think. The project for the 64 got cancelled and moved to the GC, where it got cancelled again.
Or the Pokemon n64 rpg
I love your channel and this fund is amazing I remember as a kid saving things to floppy disks and a few days later the old Mac computer from school aka was new at that time wouldn't read it this is amazing I'm a retro game lover it's just awesome to see people still looking into these retro games keep up the awesome work I will be watching for more.
i am a new fan. its awesome that you guys uploaded the software for us, i hope you have luck in your blue cartridge search. It would be amazing to see a series where you guys go to flea markets in japan or some such and get rare games. keep up the great content!
he said no ntsc version of the N64 DD existed but..... Japan uses ntsc.
its NTSCJ slightly different then US NTSC japan also has PAL
Both NTSC-U and NTSC-J are NTSC, so OP is still correct. Japan doesn't use PAL.

The Nintendo 64 is my life.
I was born 2002 . In that year my sister became an Nintendo 64 (from neighbours) and she has always played with it. And four years later I played the Nintendo 64 too. Until now. It was our family Tradition to play the Nintendo 64 every Week at least 1 time. I loved it. Now I'm 15 years old and I play the Nintendo 64 until now. I don't want a Playstation and a new television or something like that, what all Teenagers normally want to become. I always bought with my money, all the games. And it was so hard because the games were so expensive. Every birthday and Christmas i wish to became one game. I also wanted to buy the Nintendo 64 dd. But I could NEVER buy me that thing with the games because it's so f****** expensive. I looked in eBay for that thing. it costs $800!! and the other things for the Nintendo 64 disc drive also cost very expensive. I don't want to know how much it will cost when I have the money to buy me the nintendo 64 dd when I'm twenty years old and I go working. Goodbye live!
Maybe I will never get this thing.
I also like the Gameboy Pocket.
the Gameboy Color is also nice but I like the pocket more.
Don't wonder my English is not so good
I'm German
she became an n64 lol
I know what is that feeling. I'm a retro lover and can't buy anything of that. I mostly play on emulators because I'm not that old to get working and buy retro stuff. I'm only 12 and it's weird that I'm not playing cod or something like that
Wow related to a Nintendo 64. That's cool
This is kinda cool but in the end only a few games were made for it not worth spening abuch of money for a game on cartridge Collect good to mint condition boxed games there are other rares for n64 out there besides this
Ok so let me get this straight, at a very young age your sister transformed into a n64. This didn't affect you in any way, instead you started playing with her. You fell in love with the n64 version of her and wished to become a game every birthday and christmas. You wanted to be inside that n64, you wanted to become one with it. So you search ebay, you search and you search in a quest to find a listing that could make your dream of becoming a n64 game a reality. But unfortunately it is too expensive. Now you are planning the future instead; you want to get a job when you are twenty years old and then finally make your transformation into a n64 game, and you will do it live. Is this correct?
Got to meet you in person at E32019 we even took a selfie. You are awesome man! You rock!
I'm glad you meshed up with hard 4 games, they have so much on the subject that needed to be addressed.
mens room beer. best way to show you're in washington
I got a blue ray disk
I got Blue Ray data.
This is super cool. I've been thinking about making an N64DD game just for fun, but didn't think we had anything like this to work against. Awesome news!
Thank you @MetalJesusRocks and everybody involved in this story. You are making history.
Home work on a floppy disk?!
*Man it was the age of DVD already before the first school on Germany even had any computer allowed in it....*
So where was this item found?
latuman Near the Nintendo of America Mecca -- Redmond, Washington.
It's just really really cool. Teenage me is just blown away you guys have this.
Dude, you do ROCK! A longtime viewer of your content and this is great what you did.
still waiting for earthbound 64...
Really wish he got help from Ben Heck.
yeah
Why? Ben Heck mostly does hardware repair, which there wasn't an issue with.
he could check what the hardware differences between the different models are
only if MJ would be ok with him taking it apart which i kinda doubt
Or Debuglive
Missed this video somehow... So awesome!! Has anything come of this since?!
I stumbled upon the first video and was extremely curious to know what was on that blue disk and more about this hardware. Awesome!
