I had this theory and have posted a few times and that is other than the abuse he experienced as a child, Eddie may actually had a romantic consenting relationship but due to having little to no form of healthy relationships before or could based off of, he may not really know how to handle what comes with it. He loved the affection, attention, the care, the kindness, be treated as someone who's significant, the experiences he enjoyed, and the person he had that with. She was his pearl and thought she was only his girl. I think it's very likely that he may ended up becoming too clingy, obsessed and maybe manipulative. It's also likely that he may have met a girl who also had to survive in a broken home too so they rarely knew how to react to feuds or issues other than fight, flight, or submit. Since Eddie was bigger, stronger, and more skilled in doing that I think his spouse may often have to submit to stop a fight. Their once loving bond grew toxic that they ended up doing and saying horrible things to each other and gradually meant what they say and did. Despite that, Eddie didn't want to let go of his spouse since despite the shitty things they did to each other, he still had strong feelings and attachment to her, want to keep alive the dream of having a family with her, and he doesn't want to be lonely like he was for a long time (and intentionally was to not get as hurt as he was during his youth). She however found their relationship in the condition it was was not beneficial to either of them, and tried to run away. Feeling betrayed he killed her out of rage. When he regain a certain amount of awareness he was in denial that his spouse was dead and was instead asleep. Anger that she wouldn’t wake up. Sadness that she wasn’t likely to wake up. Tried to negotiate with a dead corpse. Then he accepted that he may need to find someone else to achieve having a family, which he failed numerous of times since he didn’t let go of his desperation, desire of his idealized woman, and the burning hatred he felt from a toxic relationship and hatred of rejection. Plus most of them died from what he did to them.
nah i think the machine just amplified his trauma like everyone else and there are no women in that facility. I’m sure he had some relationships before he was experimented on but doubt any were healthy.

I remember watching the 'Leave it to Beaver series. Besides sharing the same name as a serial killer, Eddie Gein, he shares the same name as Wallie's friend, Eddie Haskell. I find they have some similarities despite Haskel being the beginning branch of a particular wise guy archetype. Haskel tends to call his friends, peers, or 'underlying' anything other than their actual name (usually Sam) similar to how Gluskin often calls his target's 'darling.' Both Eddie's way of acting can change on a dime. How Haskel acts normally depends on whether or not a person he dubs an authority is around. This particular behavior was dubbed the “Eddie Haskell syndrome." During the show's run was often an ass-kisser and flattering towards adults. When the adults are not around he's a smart-aleck towards his peers, and verbally abusive to his subordinates. There are a few hints that are Haskel is an insecure guy with unhappy home life. The first time I really saw insecurity from him due to maybe being naive or young was in an episode "Eddie's girl," in which he lies about his crush being his girlfriend. I also find he sound similar to the Phantom in the Phantom of the Opera (2004) ruclips.net/video/o1XY_ux5iUI/видео.html Now I think of it he's so similar to the Phantom of the Opera, they are both men obsessed with the idea of love. Awful past. Mommy issues. Freakishly capable of quietly sneaking up. Both are murderers. Do not take rejection nicely. Very manipulative, skillful hunters; know how to mentally fuck with people. Example when the Phantom decided to dangle a man he killed over the stage by a noose around his neck + how Eddie decided to put the key where Waylon could find it so he could ambush and hang Waylon. The 2004 Phantom have a deformity on the left side of his face. Eddie Gluskin have most of his blisters on the left side of his face. I could say about the same for J.D. from Heathers minus facial disfigurement. Not unless you include that he winds up dying from a bomb he intend on detonating in the boiler room to kill everyone at his school. Part of me think that Eddie may have a past in Drama theatre 🎭 or the entertainment. At least I think he could be apart of the crew who made props, clothe design and/or tailoring.
@@XvlerLorenzo lmao what? No... he does NOT have a lisp & certainly it has nothing to do with the experiment. He just speaks like a late 19th century or early 20th century city-dwelling American.
@@whitephillip6997 it would have to be because of the experiment. Other characters talk like that and Eddie developed a slight lisp, possibly from some external injuries to his voice box and lips because he had tubes in his mouth.

First - I think Eddie is awesome

What kind of Accent does Eddie have? It's kinda old-timey, it's not like a modern or southern accent.
Its actually not an accent. He speaks with a slight lisp due to the experiment he was forced into at the beginning
