I made this for my mom and she loved it. thank you!!! I roasted the tomatillo instead of boiling it. also used beef stock instead of water for the blender. followed the rest of your methods and it was gas. def gonna keep remaking this dish! You a legend Claudia.

In my opinion, jauja makes the recipes too complicated and in my experience, not the best tasting dishes. And Claudia does the opposite, so simple with amazingly delicious results.

I always wonder as well! At the very least they could simply comment what they’d do differently, offering recommendations or alternatives… I’m a black girl living in CANADA 🇨🇦 I absolutely LOVE cooking different types of international cuisines. I usually end up with a combo of recipes from Pinterest & RUclips then make em my own. For example, the only thing I’d change with this recipe is that I’d use boneless chicken THIGHS instead. They’re so much more moist & juicy especially when simmered in a sauce like this one. I think chicken thighs are super UNDERrated.

I made this and the red one I love how easy and minimal ingredients the red one is but I love the taste of the green one more ! I only wish i strained the sauce thank you for this recipe ❤️
I made this tonight and it was sooo good!! Even my picky seven year old ate it up! And it wasn’t spicy it was a perfect mild flavor with a hint of spice. (I love spicy food but because I try to feed my kid new things I want her to enjoy as well) thank you so much for sharing your recipe! You always look on point and you cook on point too! I know that feeling 😅 me one day going to a Mexican restaurant, ordering tinga empanadas to my surprise all I got was shredded chicken empanadas no sauce no flavor 😭😭😭 I guess it all depends on the region 😅 but don’t worry this Tinga is delicious and full of flavor I would never disappoint you 😅
