Congrats on the channel growth dude. I am going to bet that all woke/DEI/Feminazi Xbox/Halo dev team is going to gender/race swap Master Chief in their next title.
I hope Atlus can fix the dubs for metaphor but right now i plan to buy it when the phsy version is on sale and the only game i am looking to buy is the soul reaver remasterds
The idea that localization is "hard to deal with" is stupid. All the company has to do is teach someone to speak English or hire a native english speaker and teach them Jap and then you can get rid of the entire overseas localization industry...... its literally the easiest thing to fix of all these problems.
at this point, im starting to think there are people planted inside these companies to destroy it so it gets sold to chinese companies, there is no way so many people are so dumb
@@Skateandcreate9 because they are intent on pushing a message, not giving us what we want. It's what their pay masters believe we NEED to see. We need to be educated and coerced into behaviours they deem appropriate.
Entities like blackrok are bulying them into submission. More often than not it’s blakrok or another equivalent that has majority shares, and then the whole ESG point value system etc is designed to destroy your company if you don’t play ball. It’s a racket essentially. And it’s intent on social engineering the public at all costs. Cuz in case you’re living under a rock, conservative or even Godly values are under seige. From politics all the way to the classroom. Blackrok is essentially the buisness arm of the WEF. Replacing national flags with rainbow ones, taking away national pride, open bordrs and bombarding your kids in school with left ranbow ideology and taking your rights as a parent away. What we are seeing in the gaming industry is infecting other genres and industries as well, even cards and board games are not immune. What we are seeing in the entertainment industry as a whole is a microcosm of something much larger and sinister at play, that stems from the very elites and power players we keep seeing get exposed by things like didy or Epstn. Tentacles that lead to the same head.

Consultants: because gamers don't like them they want realistic worlds with realistic characters Game company: but this gamer just asked for an escapist fantasy with hot girl characters Consultants: trust us we know what they really want
That's nonsense we have plenty of designers openly admit to making woke designs to "own the chuds" the existence of social media and their own participation in it makes their lies transparent.
I think the good designers will probably have to leave the compny to let it collapse. It's the natural order of things to teach the higher ups that customer loyalty is how you survive in a free market capitalist society. They need to take a page out of Elon Musk and just hire people that add value and not expand so much. When he fired those twitter mods that were just doing nothing he saved a lot of money. The communists don't seem to understand that a more expensive product with bloat is not preferable to a lean and mean game company that has smaller team of higher skilled people. If those commies want to get a job they got to work their way up the ladder by making small projects first, find the audience that likes their content and slowly build from there. That is how the respect meter is built up. You don't just get respected for existing. You earn respect over time. Will these people ever listen to us? No. They think they can just make gold like Larian Studios and not have to worry what the fans have to say. Baldur's Gate 3 is NOT an anomaly. It's how games used to be made: the developers would ask the fans what they think, they would then offer feedback and then the company would refine the product to perfection. On release of the game the public plays it and is blown away by the quality because the makers of the game had passion and knew what they wanted to create and gave it 100%. Most of the people at the triple A companies are just there to get a paycheck only and see it as a daily grind. Not a passion. So that is the core issue here. Are the communists really there to add value or to lecture us about their world view? If it's the latter they are a liability since most gamers are smarter and have higher IQ than them. We don't need them lecuturing us since we think they are wrong about how the world works. So it's like a fundamentalist christian trying to preach to an athiest who doesn't even believe in God. If that athiest thinks the christian is harassing him he will call the cops eventually to get the guy off his property because he isn't interested in the message and has heard it already. That's what it feels like dealing with the woke mob. They want to preach their message but nobody agrees with their world view which is basically "give me a job because I exist. F those guys that had to earn the position". Vast majority of people do not want to live in a world run by dictators who think people are entitled to have something for existing. So what do we do? We should let the companies fail and the workers should quit those companies. (just work outside the system) If you want to put your name on a game that sucks all it will do is hurt your reputation!
I agree there are artist that just want to earn a paycheck and just give the boss exactly the best worst design they ask for but if you speak out for the woke you are a target. And the people who are speaking out load are usually among those who have powers to decide.
@@UToobUsername01 Problem is a lot of these companies started out small, with highly skilled people, but once a company reaches a certain size they're required to hire an HR dept, and then the infection begins.
Well yah that’s the point of his video the designers that don’t agree can’t do so visibly or they will lose their livelihood with no hope of any company in the west being better

I think it's because a lot of these atrocious designs are ultimately "design by committee". "Artists" who go on Twitter to brag about their slop are largely just egotists who overvalue their contribution.
It might just be me, but if the Triple A Industry died out, i wouldn't shed a Tear. i'll be more than happy to play games made by Small Studios that look like PS1 or 2 games, than pay $70 to be FUCKING LECTURED AT FOR 50+ HOURS!!!

From what I have seen, the individual devs that are getting cooked online are bringing it on themselves by lashing out at gamers first and calling them names. I have no sympathy for them.
When CDPR released that video about how they were going whole hog on DEI, I knew the company was cooked, and lost interest in any future releases from them.
@@BOTG_Adventures Considering the hub-bub they went through for standing up to the wokies wanting more diverse races in 1403's Bohemia, taking into account the quality of the game itself, and considering they now have folks from the glory days of CDPR working on 2, I have very high hopes for that game!
@@SoSezTheDude the old devs of CDPR who were part of CP2077 and Witcher series made their own studio called Rebel Wolves. Rebel Wolves is a new studio, but our team has years of experience working on some of the most critically acclaimed video games of all times. We co-created titles such as “The Witcher 3”, “Cyberpunk 2077”, and many others. We decided to create our own studio and run it on our own terms. Chief among them: the team comes first, always. Happy people make great games - games players want and deserve. Yes, it’s as simple as that. We’re industry veterans, but we’re hungry for more. We want to create amazing virtual worlds, filled to the brim with powerful emotions and unique experiences. Most of all, we want to share our boundless passion for video games. Dev's closing statement of "it needs to be a BRIDGE" just sounds like a dogwhistle knowing that the new term that's going to be pushed industry wide is BRIDGE instead of DEI. If devs want pity and support from the masses, they can take a stand and quit or get fired like the original devs at Infinity Ward when they shifted to make their own studio Respawn. I feel no pity or sympathy for a stranger significantly more well off than I am, crying about how hard their job is or the politics and drama associated around their work place.
I’m glad you talked about bad localization. I’m shocked at how so few people are aware of all the malicious changes being made to their (otherwise great) eastern games. Even Japanese players who are aware of the problem have proposed industry-wide blacklists for these localizers.
It's all coming from the Government & International Organizations. Anyone can check what they have to do to get the contracts & grants & subsidies & tax cuts & low tariffs... You can't export your game if the government says so. A lot of this is in the Trade Agreements & International Governance (UN & WHO & ...).
Oh I hope they do it. It happens in anime too. Any time these types get to insert themselves in between the customer and the company, they will twist and pervert everything they can to get it reflect THEIR beliefs.
As a player, when the devs come out and bash us, yet want us to respect them, i find i comical. Respect is earned, not given. And when you bash the people you want to buy your game, you loose any amount of respect you had.
exactly. And there are no colleague devs rising up to defend the gamers when one of them insults us. They don't need to say that they agree with us, just show us some respect
Sorry if I sound cynical but, I lost empathy and compassion a long time ago for the industry. The devs are part of the problem, like it or not they continue with the status quo just droning along and licking the boots of those above them. Just because you make a game doesn’t mean you deserve my respect or time, karma comes when they least expect it. The games industry must heal and it starts with the hole, not singling out targets
No, you are being fair, they aren’t entitled to our money or respect and I’m tired of being put down when I call this stuff out, and I’m just going to say it I don’t care if they lose their jobs; if they truly cared about the gaming industry they would work on projects they were legitimately passionate about instead of just complaining about it online.
Those who don't like it but stay quiet should move on to other jobs. If all the devs that wanted nothing to do with this stuff quit or switched companies, then there would be no one left to take on these AAA projects and the whole AAA sphere would collapse in on itself. Move, even if it's a pay cut, and go to a small company that doesn't have this problem. And never, ever sell out. Do what Mihoyo did when Tencent offered a huge buy-out deal - reject and keep doing your own thing. When they try to buy you out, they just want to exploit you and take away everything you built. You'll be better off rejecting them.
How did you get that from the video? If some talented dev makes 20 variants for a SINGLE character in that Concord game, and the woke weirdos at the top choose the most "representative" looking one, how is it the dev's fault? Will they refuse to create different kinds of characters and lose their job because you would be a NotSee otherwise? Stop acting like the twitter freaks and implying fascism at every random thing.

Problem is the devs don't know the language it's been localized in. Gotta wonder whatever happened to Tom at XSEED. Based AF and great at localizing, he was a strong bulwark against this nonsense until he got forced out.
Hey man, if it takes China to make good games again, I am all here for it. Our western studios are already lost to this woke shit. Wukong, Stellar Blade and the upcoming Phantom Blade Zero are a indicator that good games will only be produced by the eastern asian companies anymore.
I have zero sympathy for Developers. We've seen plenty of photos of what the Ubisoft development team looks like and they are the exact type of people that would support all of the terrible decisions that Ubisoft makes
I was going to say, in another video he showed the dev team being the ones making problems and not working thus having external workers come in to boost development, then in this video it's giving the opposite message that 'oh its the people at the top'. The people at the top are always make dumb moves in some of these big companies, but doesn't make the devs blameless outright.
@@DonForceFeedbackremember, this isn't his opinion, it's the opinion of the dev. He doesn't understand that so-called toxic boys club is due to them hiring nothing but far left-wing feminist activists Junior developers who can barely hold a single line of cold and who interpret someone saying hi to them as a form of harassment. I was thinking this too. I’ve literally seen too many photos of devs with purple hair and nose rings with portfolios stressing diversity. I have a really hard time believing that dev.
The fact this insider is STILL arguing that DEI and ‘diversity’ is a positive just shows they’re still in denial and part of the liberal bubble that inevitably leads to the problems we’re having. You do not get better products by having more varied superficial characteristics. It wouldn’t matter if a game about heterosexual male eskimos was made by an all female, lesbian, Somalian dev team, if they were good enough at their job and not too narcissistic to empathise and imagine other people’s lives. He’s stepped right up to the border of truly understanding the problem, but just isn’t willing to take that last step into admitting that the entire modern western obsession with identity and inclusivity is the underlying problem.
Weak minded liberals who see the problem but still toe the line and the "message" will always be deluded and will give in to the tiniest amount of peer pressure. They're the same ones who thought Bye-den was okay until the media told them it was okay to admit that he has problems...

So begins the age of devs passing the buck. If you're too cowardly to stand up for your principles, you don't deserve sympathy. The ones that kept their mouth shut are the main reason games are trash today.
"We are victims too, we don't want woke stuff but if we speak up we get fired and blacklisted" Im a brazilian who has a wife and three kids to feed. Because I don't buy this guy's excuses. He's a first worlder who works a very comfortable job compared to most people, and he claims to be a slave who is forced to do woke stuff. I call it BS. If you and your colleagues had any principles you would not accept that. I have no sympathy whatsoever for devs who work for AAA western studios. Nothing changes the fact that your job is to ruin our beloved franchises. If you were truly committed to the thruth, you wouldn't fear going against them openly, or you would go indie. Anything but compromising to wokism. "Muh life is hard" F off. You work with creating games. Your livelihoods isn't really on the line. I actually have a bullet scar because of my job. Yeah, second this. First worlders classic excuse. They dare to act like they are living in hell, and then this twats come the next day to glorify their countries like they are in paradise. Bunch of spineless wankers.
Remember when devs who disagreed would quit and start their own studios or indie projects? If they don't agree, but stay silent and do the shill work, then they are complicit. Prove they want my money, instead of letting some idiot make it sound like they are saying that they don't want my money.
Do you realize how much more money that takes now? Or how much larger the gaming industry is meaning loads more competition? Think dude, it's not nearly that simple, just because McDonald's employees make a shitty hamburger because the manager tells them to you're not gonna just go start a burger stand. These game devs might want to own a house one day, or a car, or be able to eat.
So the point is proven. If you are working for a woke company, you are complicit in its actions by default. And don't give me the poor hungry dev bs. They earn atleast six figure salaries.
Is there still no punishment for false sexual assault claims? PS: I have ZERO problem with “boys club” type culture. Why can’t men have their own spaces?
Men never want to join in female spaces (unless they are ghey), but females always want to join male spaces. It's been this way since we all were kids on the playground at recess.
The only real thing I'll miss from Ubi is Assassin's Creed but even then if a decent enough company picks up the IP they might be able to recapture the magic the old games had.
I'm not going to get gaslit to feel sorry for those poor devs at Ubisoft or elsewhere. I'm sw dev myself (not gaming more like bios/embedded) so I know how it is working for bad company and how hard it is to take chance and quit to start doing something else. They are in for the salary as we all are.
Your speaking the truth, if they really cared about gaming as an art they would create something that resonates with people instead of there wallets, success isn’t made by shifting the blame if they are so stressed about there work culture than they should just leave man-up and get a new job/project; and if they don’t they were never part of the industry to being with.
I quite literally don't care about the game industry anymore. I haven't bought a new title in quite some time and only play old games now. If we ever see an end to all this woke DEI shit then I'll be happy to jump back on board but sadly that's not going to happen any time soon. Keep up the good work Endymion.

I understand completely how the devs feel. That is - most of them. I work as Sr. Linux sysadmin in a large company. Sure, I do have a decent amount of experience, but I am far from the most senior one in the company. I've seen first hand how even people with 15+ years of experience are unable to do the things they know are right, just because it requires the approval of some out of touch manager, who has his own agenda and no clue on the technical issues at hand. It is frustrating and I hate it. But in all honesty, there is nothing I or anyone in a similar technical position as me can do about it. The issue is due to the managers and it trickles down from the incompetent execs. That being said, there are some devs who are full blown activists and would openly attack games better than their own. Most of you could probably recall the backlash against Elden Ring and how the devs from Ubislop and the Horizon (Nicocado with bow) series have severely opposed the lack of markers, text and yellow paint, because it clashes with their fundamental understanding of game design. And the past part is, that Elden Ring outsold every single game those devs have worked on and likely will work on. Many such cases.
No mercy for developers. No mercy for publishers. No mercy for investors. No mercy for the industry. I'm out of Fs to give, and now it's time to pay the piper.
Sorry, I'm not buying this story. We saw too many times how the SUPPOSED developers loathe us, and how they gatekept studios to make it a haven for those hateful individuals. More likely this Serge Hascoët is going through a John Lasseter situation where they manufactured accusations to push out a competent boss they envied.
Although I agree that it sucks when the hardworking devs get fired because of poor management decisions, I’m going to have to disagree with that being the case with Ubisoft. That company is rotten all the way through. They’ve replaced the overwhelming majority of their staff with people who spend 16 hours a day being a Twitter activist. Every time one of them comes out and talks about their customers, their entire post just drips with derision and scorn. I’m 100% certain that the devs who actually want to make good games are a very small minority left in that company
_This year was another example of what happens when companies like Ubislop prioritize their own personal ideologies over giving the customer’s what they want. They done this to themselves._
It's their livelihood. If you know you're gonna get fired by speaking up you wouldn't do anything either. Well either way, if they get fired or not, the end result is the same....they will end up in another company.
cowards? You would stick your neck to get fired would you? Losing a job which pays you almost 12000$/month? Everyone of you is gangsta on the Internet, but real life is no game.
@@EniscenThat's how evil ideology like communism continued to be perpetrated back then. All you need is a few developers with a spine willing to come out together and speak out. once one dev speaks out, it usually creates a chain effect that allows other devs to speak up before it becomes too much of a wave that even large AAA companies cannot ignore. The fact of the matter is the game industry is full of cowards, even Hollywood is starting to warm up to supporting Trump, we need more people like that in the gaming industry.
Regarding Sweet Baby and other consulting firms, I often hear "They only consult, they don't make final decisions on games". While this is true on a surface level, it's more complicated than that. When these recommendations come back from consulting companies, they're passed down the chain at the developer. So if a Manager or DE&I or Sensitivity Reader receives the recommendation from Sweet Baby, they're likely going to approve the change and down the chain it goes. So in effect, it's pretty much decided right then and there the "woke" changes are implemented.
they are giving advises like the mob does to businesses when they advise you to pay up for protection. No one is forcing you, but there are consequences
You always have a choice, why should that place them in exemption of fault? If they all would leave together and make their own game, working on the side on small other projects. A lot of adult crying, but not enough adult to have actual solutions. Crazy world we be living in.
At this point I do not feel bad for any dev still working with any of these woke companies. Work Indy or find another career. You take that paycheck from these companies but want none of the blame? Yeah, no.
Exactly, if they really want to be a part of the industry just go Indie, they just want the pay check with none of the difficulties. Remember when people had pride in what they worked on these aren’t Devs they are losers who are too weak-willed to put in the work.
I always, always, always doubt sexual harassment allegations these days. You hire in a bunch of DEI women who get angered over saying "hello" to them and suddenly have a bunch of men being accused of harassment. Big shock. Also, almost all of the world's inventions and creations have come out of "boy's clubs."
this is exactly what I was thinking. Hiring those people is like opening the door to the wolf. And boys clubs are what those studios should be with no woman around. I am sure that their games would be absolute masterpieces. Let women work on mobile games
I was thinking the same thing. Just a bunch of allegations and no proof. But their eco chambers inside ubisoft was aiming for top positions. So, they accuse some staff of sexual harassment to take his position.
Finally someone says it, look I’m not saying woman don’t/can’t enjoy Videogames but let’s be honest it’s mostly men/boys who play them; it’s literally the reason the saying sex sells exists.
Yea I’m not at all trusting of the public allegations here. “Believe all women” - really? Without proof? And the allegation alone ruins men, even if way down the line they aren’t charged. This stuff pisses me off. Activists leveraged power and removed talent from all sorts of industry. That’s how we’re here. I just hope all those true talents land at a new studio. I’ll buy their games.
Because the company is afraid of their own people. Everyone in the chain knows the mentally ill employees can end their career with false accusations. Toxic positivity on the surface, culture of fear below
Nobody is attacking developers. Out of the 500 who worked on a flop, 490 didn't come out on a crusade against the evil gamers who didn't buy the game. The 10 that did got laughed off the internet and apparently that's harassment for them. Will the 490 lose their job because of their bosses bad decisions? Yes. But that's not our problem, just as it's not theirs if any of us loses his job because our boss was stupid. Nobody is entitled to success because "they tried real hard".
the problem is that none of the 490 even dared to reasonably push back, even by just saying "on my side I don't hate gamers, and since they are our customers maybe their concerns should be taken seriously"
Yup, but we’re the villains because we don’t want to buy their slop anymore, than they just cry about it online how they lost there job instead of just I don’t know looking for a new one that actually appreciates them; but no keep complaining we’re all at fault right.
Normally, I would agree with you. Normally I wouldnt tell you to google what the dev teams of games such as Concord and Shadows look like. I wouldnt tell you to check their twitter bios.
It's worth reiterating that its a "AAA Crash" not a gaming industry crash. I personally have a backlog of games in Steam queued up to play this year, and most of them are not "AAA" big budget games, yet these games have better and more content than big budget franchises. Just finished up with Aliens Dark Descent (fantastic game) and now currently playing Against the Storm, then it'll be picking from intravenous 1 and 2, Police Stories, Still Wakes the Deep, Robocop Rogue city, Pacific Drive, System Shock Remake, Amnesia the bunker, Phantom Liberty, etc. Point is, Ubisoft, EA and most other big budget money wasting companies have already been beat by leaner and more efficient developers that are focused solely on making a good game, get lots of sales, rinse and repeat. With that formula everyone wins except the suits.
@@Nexus3386-l8g Yeah some other DEI Shill is trying to rebrand it with that in Microsoft I believe. Typical case of pushing the agenda being more important than making the game.
@@Nexus3386-l8g Yeah Microsoft is trying to implent/rebrand it as that because they know how much its been getting shredded and making games worse. They're reaching for anything for literally any little thing to push an agenda over making a good, genuine, and most importantly fun game.
Given how harmless “sexual harassment” always ends up being when the details are revealed, I think a game dev studio should form with all the devs accused of it and create the best damn studio ever. All the best writers and designers always seem to be accused of nonsense by woke companies.
Usually it’s just a way to get rid of someone they don’t like to put their own person there. We all know this. I just wish all the awesome devs can just band together and set up their own studio to start making games like they use to, they will become huge in no time.
Now I don't work in the development space but I am fairly knowledgeable about it's inner workiings and knew that this is basically how it operated. But still, it does raise several questions about the industry at large such as: why are the devs so zealous about defending the slop they didn't like how it was going while also attacking anyone who criticizes it knowing they 'felt the same way'? Why is the media with no know ties to these slop games defending those games so fiercely? Why was it the when sought after games like stellar blade, black myth and Warhammer come out they're attacked by other devs for not conforming to their ideological practices and failing alongside them? And why is it in the last few years did these companies suddenly decide to abandon development processes that has always worked for this new one that almost ensures failure? Call me cynical but I think that person you spoke to is either completely discounting all these other factors, unaware of a broader situation or trying steer people's view of the situation to seek sympathy. "Painting the roses red" if you will.
Yup, but no we’re apparently the problem, look it’s sad that they are going to lose their job; but it’s a job that actively doesn’t want them there. Anyone that still works there are people solely in for the paycheck, if they truly cared about the industry they would go indie and actually put in the hard work to create something people would actually enjoy.
Ubisoft and other game companies that pushed the message allowed the infestation that is DEI to run rampant. Now they must live with the side effects. If they go bankrupt, it'll be the workers who'll suffer.
They pushed out all the talented employees over the years as the industry went from creating new and interesting experiences to trend chasing and maxing profits and appeasing their investors. The amount of people that had been working at these places for over two decades all leaving once we saw the massive change in the gaming landscape basically left no one with talent working there anymore, and that let these political agenda driven ideologues free reign to jump in and just screw everything up. Once they got in and DEI started, they began hiring based on political nepotism, filling up roles with only those who parrot the same messed up ideology they do. They treat it as a cool kids club and to piggy-back ride off the company's success. We know that they actively want the industry to burn, so if companies like Ubisoft and Blizzard go under, they'll just move on to something else and ruin that too. People say we're "winning", but I really don't feel like we are. These people are too ingrained in the industry to simply remove, especially when they're being protected. If these companies were only interested in profits, they would see how DEI is not good for business, so the only conclusion I can make is that the people running the show are far-left as well and are willing to lose it all for their political ideology. It's basically a cancer that has spread too far to be removed and treated now. At this stage there's no salvaging Ubisoft or other companies like them. All we can do is watch. We simply don't have the means to go into these companies and remove the problems at its source. It sucks because we're constantly losing at every turn. Though I don't think it's hopeless nor should we give up. Indie games are thriving and people passionate about games aren't held back by being part of a big corporate entity. We could also see these companies burning down as an opportunity to go in and take back control. From the ashes of the old we can potentially revive them and their old IPs.
I don't care about cowards who claim they were just following orders, they should be organizing with other like-minded people and create or join a proper studio. There isn't an excuse for staying with these morally bankrupt companies.

It's a shame, from a Pole perspective, that CDPR turned out like this. I thought it wasn't going to happen and CDPR would remain Polish, but nah. It's no wonder most of developers who worked on The Witcher and Cyberpunk left the studio and created their own company called Rebel Wolves. CDPR is not Polish anymore. Politics has always been part of gaming. People need to realise that Politics =/= pushing agenda. Good implemented politics in games, actually make you think of your actions. Fallout, BioShock, Deus Ex, Metal Gear Solid, Mass Effect, Spec Ops: The Line, every RTS game out there from Age of Empires to Civilization series, ALL have political stuff in them. I am against pushing agendas in games though. That's completely different balls game. Those can go eff themselves.

It's sad how the problems described in the video sounds exactly like what happens in my friend's studio even though it's small. The leadership/investors for whatever reason sees no problem with the woke agenda and over diversification, and the decision making, like what is described in the character design goes through so many hands, the end result is no longer what the game designer first envisioned - and we end up with doo-doo games and movies like we do lately.

Well, to be blunt - nobody forces these people to work for studios like Ubisoft if they are not happy with how their work is/isn't approved and changed by some higher-ups and when they know they work for a DEI-infested company... They have the choice to work for other companies, but they decide to stay and work for companies like Ubisoft. So from that perspective I don't feel sorry or sad for them at all if they lose their jobs. Their choice - their consequences.
If the work is bad, the company deserves to fail. It doesn’t matter whose fault it is. Blaming the executives doesn’t make the games better or mitigate financial losses.

I can confirm software spending is out of control for these AAA companies. Microsoft licensing alone for E3-P2 licenses runs roughly about 500K for 1000 people. And to think that's just for the Office 365 suite. There's no telling what other products these developers are using that enterprise licensing is so extreme. At my last job Splunk was costing us around $2,000,000 a year then an additional $50k a month for data retention.

That's nonsense we have plenty of designers openly admit to making woke designs to "own the chuds" the existence of social media and their own participation in it makes their lies transparent.
I would expect there to be a mix of quality legacy artists, along with the DEI hires that are slowly but surely replacing them like pod people.

They attack the players as well.
@@DonForceFeedbackremember, this isn't his opinion, it's the opinion of the dev. Yea, this whole “the devs are the good guys” narrative needs to stop. They are in these companies and actively pushing this nonsense too. They are not innocent

You do not get better products by having more varied superficial characteristics.
Sir have you seen the economy no one has the money for that. Plus look up the term golden handcuffs which is what I think ties quite a few hands
Exactly, remember when games weren’t made for everyone and people loved them because they gave people unique and awe-inspiring experiences.
Men never want to join in female spaces (unless they are ghey), but females always want to join male spaces. It's been this way since we all were kids on the playground at recess.
At this point I don't think people would care if these companies were to just shut down permanently.
I know I wouldn't. The developers that made these studios the giants they are have long since been dismissed or left.
The only real thing I'll miss from Ubi is Assassin's Creed but even then if a decent enough company picks up the IP they might be able to recapture the magic the old games had.
Gaming will die by 2030.
I wouldn’t mourn any Western studio at this point.

True. They're spineless.
It's their livelihood. If you know you're gonna get fired by speaking up you wouldn't do anything either. Well either way, if they get fired or not, the end result is the same....they will end up in another company.

If they don’t speak up their whole industry will crash and they’ll all lose their jobs anyways.

Just what I was thinking during his whole speal about it.
If the company has to hire contractors to do your work for you, why do you have a job?

My comment in a nutshell!😊 👍🏻
If they go bankrupt, it'll be the workers who'll suffer.
the spineless workers
No such thing as workers in these companies anymore, the people at the bottom are propagandists too.
If a company isn’t hiring on merit and is instead hiring off diversity regardless of merit then said diversity can only be seen as a net negative.

It's USA managed studio who sold out to Western Capital with all it's downfalls unfortunately. :(
Next Witcher might be woke - but I still trust that Sapkowski and Witcher fans won't allow for this to happen.
When did the EU become so woke? CDPR, Ubisoft, Rocksteady, guerrila games. All European, and all failing.
@@yunusgokcen174 they didn't. Most of those companies are based in Europe, sure, but look at where their HQ are. Most of them are in California, USA.
It's USA mindset and pushing agenda that's killing studios in Europe. Guerilla Games are still fine in my book. Maybe because I live in NL nowadays and I know how Dutch people are. I still wait for Horizon III with hopes they don't butch it up.
@@info0 These California liberals really be bankrupting European game companies.
@@yunusgokcen174 the EU is the reenactment of USSR with a woke twist. EU leaders are 100% as woke as the California ones
Devs: It's not me, it's the execs.
Me: Sucks to be you.
If there's a chance my money goes to a consultant I simply won't buy.
Same here bro, anita sarkeesian and kim belair don't understand any other language...
'It isn't artists making horrible designs". As a customer idk what I'm suppose to do with that. I feel bad for them, but I'm also not going to purchase a product that I'm not interested in because the artists of said company might lose their job if I don't.
To be used as a bridge……..what’s the new name of the DEI program again?
A whole segment about "handsy devs" and I can't help but wonder what woman got her career furthered by slanderimg her superior.
Hopefully by 2030, we won't be having discussion like this and we won't see anymore political messaging agenda and see games being made in good faith.
Idk we are going up against someone who has close to 20 trillion dollars but that being Said those 20 trillion dollars are being divesified across multiple things and not just gaming...
@@info0 u mean politics as more or less inspired by political systems from the real world?? like take Star wars and the republic for example if the greeks never invented democracy star wars probably wouldnt exist atleast not like it does now. well ofc its gonna be inspired by real world things political or not thats how things are created take lord of the rings tolkien was inspired by catholicism cause he was a christian and other things connected to Europes history and culture and that is one of the greatest if not the greatest fantasy universes ever made and its completely different from political messaging about womens rights or trans or diversity or in general making men into an evil thing.
@@BlueFire015 that's partially what I meant.
There are papers on how games and politics were always intertwined.
You're right though, modern politics and mostly pushing of certain agendas can go f**k themselves. They want us to think in certain way and not for ourselves and that's a no-go in my book.
by that time you will be fighting in a trench in Syberia
I don’t feel bad for the devs cause they all bend the knee. Can’t wait to not tip them for making my coffee
The top minority were talking about all come with a VP title they have to justify having. Thus everyone of them needs to 'tweeks' every decision.
Man, if you continue this way, I think UBI will unleash Yasuke on you!
Bro is spreading horseass with this, even the CEO of CDPR clled him out on this
Even? The CEO embarrassed himself and got destroyed with facts and logic.
i think cyberpunk poached a bunch of ubisoft devs and got the wokey virus. you can see soo many similarity in far cry and cyberpunk's stealth, combat, skill tree, mission designs, etc.
Cyberpunk was made by inexperienced amateurs. CD Projekt Red will go bankrupt soon because almost everyone refunded Cyberpunk
I'm still playing cyberpunk personally. It's fun.
CDPR don't do DEI based hiring, they multiple times accepted that fact online. Recently in an Investors call they completely denied rumours of them working with external entities like SBI or anything like that. Just today CDPR higher up dis regarded all allegations thrown in this video. Please continue enjoying amazing games, don't let propaganda fool you. This video is bs.
Given the CDPR is going to remake witcher but remove the problematic sexy cards. I see it as them admitting guilt.
Just waiting for Endymion to be vindicated.
@@silverhawkscape2677Endymion is a fanatic. His attitude is as crazy as woke imbeciles'. He's bullshitting a lot. It's better to consume more adequate anti-woke content. As an example - Asmongold
@@silverhawkscape2677 These cards were cringe even in 2007. 😆Removing them is not wokeness but common sense. Please stop beeing a snowflake. Also, the remake is done by a different studio called Fools Theory. Endymion pulls his stories out of his bum hole for clicks from snowflakes.
@@MD-iw2vt No it's wokeness. No one asked for those cards to be removed. Everyone complained when they were being removed.
When people heard a Remake they were thinking uts as faithful tonthe originalnas Possiblenwith better graphics.
Nice try gaslighter.
@@silverhawkscape2677 The cards do not fit to the Geralt personality we know from the books and the games trilogy. They were a dumb idea even in 2007 standards. It is smart they won't have them the remake.
Industry capture and infiltration via HR departments.
If the work is bad, the company deserves to fail. It doesn’t matter whose fault it is. Blaming the executives doesn’t make the games better or mitigate financial losses.
When I hear anything about 'sexual harassment ' I tend not to believe a word of it until overwhelming evidence is presented and verified.
Otherwise I call bullsh!t.
Imagine having values SO BAD that the only way they can be competitive is if everyone knows their career is over if they challenge them and still think you are the one "on the right side of history"...
Sure, some devs don't deserve the heat, bit the ones yapping on Twitter against gamers do.
And gamer are not responsible of devs losing their jobs, their bosses and their decisions are.
