See you soon! 🌟
This was so relaxing! I watched it while I had a morning cup of coffee before I started my day, but I can see myself coming back to this later to do the drawing exercise. As for my physical self, I think I would be a sloth. Sloth move slowly and at their own pace, and because I have movement issues due to cerebral palsy, I find I can relate to them on a deep level 😋 For my cognitive self, I'd pick a hummingbird because I think they work hard to be in the big world they are in, and I am always trying to understand myself on a cognitive level by looking at all the different "flowers" of perspectives. For my emotional self, I pick the tarsier because they are shy and skittish and look a bit frazzled... until I am comfortable. When I am comfortable I become a capybara who doesn't mind much of anything haha.
やっほー、Evie! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Oh, choosing a sloth, hummingbird, and tarsier is such a great choice! Imagining it made me smile 💕
It’s so fun how everyone has a different perspective of themselves.
When I visited Brazil, I saw a wild capybara and was shocked-it wasn’t at all what I had imagined! In Japan, there’s an anime called Kapibara-san, and I always thought it was a small brown mouse. But in reality, they’re actually quite big😂
Aww thank You so much for sharing, I'm very much comfortable to see videos and learn something new from you, waiting for the next up
Oh, thank you so much for watching! I'm so happy to hear that you learned something new! I'm planning to combine more art with Japanese, so let’s see how it goes✨
I love the relaxing environment that you set in your video!
I’m happy to hear that! It was a new challenge to add Japanese teaching elements, so I was really curious about the feedback of this video!✨
This is very nice, Chikako! I do enjoy your nighttime art therapy videos so far... it's a unique format! Cozy and creative. I think learning a bit of Japanese in addition is a great bonus, though... I'm going to be much slower on that part, haha! I'm endlessly curious about language though - one of my favorite things to study. I thought a little bit about what my animals would be - that was harder than I expected. At one point I had assigned "direwolf" to myself (as depicted in Game of Thrones) - fiercely loyal to their people, helpful, deep emotional connection, live to help others succeed. I don't know if that captured it completely, but it worked for me for a while. With your categories... hm...Physical - maybe a golden retriever... always happy to spend time with my friends, mostly pretty chill, but definitely ready to be goofy. Emotional... maybe a capybara? Overall, pretty happy and relaxed... get along with everyone, strong and steady, but essentially not very demonstrative. Go along to get along, I guess. Cognitive... I thought maybe a crow or a raccoon... curious, curious problem solvers. I dunno... that's what I came up with quickly as it gets late here. Thanks for the great things to ponder! Great video!
Hi Brian! Thank you so much for your feedback🙏
I didn’t expect to incorporate the Japanese language into my videos, but I received a few requests over the past few months, so I thought it might be worth trying🧐
I was initially unsure if art therapy content and Japanese words would mesh well, but it turned out to be a lot of fun in the end!
I really appreciate how well you observe yourself😳 ! They reflect a great balance between maintaining a good distance with others while also showcasing your own knowledge and personality.
It's interesting to think about how these traits translate into our lives.
I hope you will have a great week!
Thank you for this video! I just started learning japaneese and this type of practise is very comfortable. Also, as an artast, this was a little motivation for new page in sketchbook.
You're amazig❤
Thank you so much for your kind words☺️
I'm glad to hear that you found this practice comfortable.
Keep up the great work, and I'm excited for your journey in art and language! ganbatte kudasai!
While the schedule change was surprising, the reason I'm late is because you inspired me to take a break and work on side project haha 😅
the mental image of a coffee mouse zooming through a crowd is quite amusing
hey at least you didn't accidentally draw brooklyn supreme (horse) lol
I thought this might be difficult to watch without subtitles but it's actually quite easy!
oyasuminasai ✨
Haha, yeah, I uploaded at night because I was doing my night routine, but if I think about it, it's only night in my area-other places might not even notice, haha😅
Oh, the coffee mouse is working a lot today too, haha! (That’s me!)
I saw that you're going to take a break from making videos.
It's a long journey, so let's take it easy😉
@@ogawachikako Any time is fine! I was just surprised!
no breaks! I'm actually doubling down hahahahaha
there was a very scary spider on my keyboard (and a lot of neighborhood drama lol) which forced me to take a break but that's it!
omg wait you're replying to my comment - not a community post
the side project was the task of converting a bunch of my notes into video outlines - still working on videos!
i think it's a lot of fun that you included some Japanese in this video🥰
I'm having trouble deciding which animals to represent me! but perhaps a snail as my physical self😊 vulnerable and home is wherever i am. my emotional self a fish perhaps! going with the flow of water (which to me represents emotion), and being part of a big school (community!) of fish🐟. for my cognitive self an elephant?? or maybe a donkey, since i am quite stubborn at times😂 this was a fun thought experiment! thanks for sharing, friend 🫶💞🌟🍀 おやすみなさい❤
Hi Nads, I hope you're having a good week🩷
I’ve been feeling a bit demotivated creatively lately, so I’m trying to take a rest... but I like how you mention that emotions are like a fish in water, coming and going. 😊
Hehe, snails are super cute 🐌.
I’m happy you’re still following my new types of videos!
Thanks for the feedback ^^🩷 Love from my small art studio✨
@@ogawachikako hihi, my week has been okay! hope that yours will allow you to rest as much as you need💕 so much change happened recently, i am not really surprised you feel demotivated. so long as you don't feel bad about it, huh! and i think i would watch and enjoy just about any kind of video you decide to make😊 im still playing your vids in the background, tho i haven't had as much down time recently- i hope you're slowly inching closer to monetization 🫶🧡❤️🍂🌾🍁💖 take it easy friend!!!
Chi-chan... you uploaded this video at a different time :D Threw me off slightly, because I usually watch your videos on Thursday morning. Anyway, it's really nice for you to incorporate language lesson into this one. I am going to create a private playlist for Japanese Language, so thank you in advance.
As far as animals go, I actually never thought about spiritual animals that representing yourself in different ways. I always think that I like animals because they are cute. But if I absolutely have to pick, maybe I'll pick giraffe for my physical self, since I am 6'2". Beaver for cognitive self because I am an engineer like them, and I'd pick a bird too for emotional self, because I do feel like I fly around a lot...if I can pick a specific bird, then it has to be Shima-enaga :D they're just cute that's why.
Your husband definitely took some really nice shots with beautiful angles for this video. I really like peeking through the window and see shapes of buildings with limited amount of daylight. It's pretty. Credits to both of you! Have a great weekend!
Thank you for your thoughtful comment, Alex!
I uploaded the video at night because I thought it would be strange to see my pajamas in the early morning, but now that I think about it, night is only in my area and it doesn’t really matter in the end, haha.
Shima-enaga!!! Oooooh, I want to see them someday. They are sooo cute! ✨
I’m glad you enjoyed the video and the shots my husband took (he's smiling!).
It’s challenging to work with limited light, but I feel so relaxed when I film at night.
I hope you have a great week!!
@@ogawachikako There’s nothing wrong with wearing pajamas all day long if you ask me :D Yes… someday, if I am still not too old and able to hike in the snow, I would really love to go to Hokkaido and see those pretty birds.
I can see that your husband’s videography skills getting really good overtime. I always appreciate people working behind the scenes and they deserve to know that they’re doing a wonderful job.
Anyway Chi-chan, film anytime you feel like filming, night time or day time, in pajamas or in a costume, as long as you are happy. I’ve seen a lot of RUclipsrs trying so hard to please their audience, but in the end they got burnt out and forgot how to enjoy making videos anymore. So, just do what makes you happy! Actually that’s why I watch your channel at first, because I thought you looked so happy making the video, which made me smile the whole time. And you still do! I am pretty sure it’s the same for most of your viewers too.
