Thanks for watching everyone! There's already a lot more deals added to the spreadsheet, and I started a third tab with some builds too (starting with a $650 budget AM4 system). Hope y'all get something nice! 🙏
Thanks, Paul. Going through the building journey with your guides and highlights of MSRP to mark-ups on components have been invaluable. I got a GREAT Black Friday deal at a local pc store. New 5600x/cooler sealed in the box for $99 Cdn ($72 U.S). I bought 2 of them to replace the 3600's cpu's in 2 pc's I own.
Ibuypower had a i7, RTX 4070, 32 GB Ram, 2 TB SSD for 1100 (after $100 off Walmart. I got a 34 Odyssey G5 for 229 walmart. Free shipped to the house. Not a bad buy for 1330. Retired my old PC after 7 years and sold for 300. So really I'm in for 1030 all in.
@@GregM I'll also piggy back on your point here and say the price of a 7800x3d in Canada, if you can find one, was 600 and something before taxes today.
The best deal I've seen was many days ago, and it was 370 for a brand new RX 7800 XT, though it did require a Prime Membership, so you can call that 380 maybe I guess. I also saw a 7900 XT for 790 CAD (in Canada only), which is equivalent to 566 USD, about a week ago, and this also required a prime membership. Both of these flash sales lasted about 24 hours or less.
Double check on the seller, it may have been a scam seller from China. I fell for the same thing but the 7900xt. We’ll see when/if it comes in though. If it is a scam I believe Amazon should be able to refund us.
In Austin and traveled to Micro Store in Houston. Picked up an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K for $299.99 and with it in combo got a Crucial 2TB T700 G5 NVME M.2 SSD for $169.99. Also picked up an ASROCK RX 7900 XT for $609.99 after a $15 discount as a new customer.
I found this prebuilt one on BestBuy for around $1150 I thought was good. The graphics card can be easily replaced as needed because the power supply is 850 watts: CyberPowerPC - Gamer Supreme Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 9700X - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB - 2TB SSD CPU Base Clock Frequency 3.8 gigahertz CPU Boost Clock Frequency 5.5 gigahertz
7900xtx is a great deal, I'd jump on that if I didn't already have one (paid about $50 over MSRP close to launch). Super disappointed about the lack of 9800x3d or even 7800x3d. Really wish I had jumped on that last year for about $350, but at the time I was still thinking the best upgrade course for me was to wait just a little longer until the 5800x3ds got stupid cheap as a drop-in for my current 5600x. Woops. Now I've got a couple games that are very CPU limited. A little tempted by 5700x3d at $200, but that still feels like a little too much for what I don't think is going to be a good enough upgrade.
I decided to buy myself a rx 6800 non xt for 140/ 160 with taxes. Will i regret it? Who knows. All i know is i diliberated viciously and figured its a good price for a new rx 6800.
Yeah, the release of the X870E version has brought down the price quite a lot, this mobo used to be 450 USD or so (coincidentally the price of the X870E) if you want a futureproof AM5 board (has both PCIe 5.0 for GPU and 1 NVME ssd plus 1 usb-c 4.0 port) then this board for 280 is pretty hard to beat. Maybe you could jump up to 350 for the X870E Nova if you care about Wifi 7 and USB 4 (plus 1 more NVME drive iirc 4 vs 3 on the Taichi) but good luck finding it in stock anywhere.
@Neodeleux Plus, rn the Nova has a rebate deal (albeit a lot of steps) to bring the price down to $300. The rebate takes 10 weeks to refund tho :/ I went with the Taichi bc it has slightly better power stages, I like the more toned back styling, and it's in stock lol

< not a US resident. Wasn't looking for anything major, but the product categories I did check didn't have any deals that stood out to me. The one thing I did order that had a pretty good discount was ... *drum-roll* ... the add-on USB-C front-side connector-cable for my Fractal case. Used to be ~ €20 on amazon, and they dropped it to just under 8 for BF, so I ordered it when I needed to buy some other, non-tech stuff from them. I did check GPUs in my neck of the woods and through the magic of pricing history (these vendors do know that this is a thing, right?), I found a few whose prices had been jacked up to above MSRP in the weeks leading up to BF and then reduced back to MSRP level for the "sale". If this sort of stuff isn't illegal already, it very well should be, IMO.
What's the word on NewEgg these days? I haven't looked at them since they were screwing people over. They fix anything or have they just been flying under the radar?
I've got a X570 Steel Legend and it's a great board for the price! Except for one very annoying thing...... To get to the M.2 slots you have to take off the whole heatsink, which is a third the size of the board and covers both of the slots! 🤦♂ So it's GPU out if you want to add or change one.

@Gavin_jk 8gb card in your 3070 will be fine at 1080p but if your going to switch to AMD now the 7800xt or 7900 GRE will max out your cpu at 1080p so a better option if you have 1440p monitor. If your going to wait 2 years then you will have many more options at that time.

I just can't bring myself to buy anything made by Samsung. Their monitors are notorious for MTTF of "just after warranty period expires". I bought a Samsung monitor many years ago and only three weeks after warranty expired the cheap metal pivot inside the stand broke, sending the screen down onto my desk - gouging the desk and breaking the monitor. Samsung's response? "Thank you for letting us know". Thankfully there are a many better choices out there today.
I added a $650 build on a third tab on the spreadsheet, I'll work on a higher end one shortly too. There's also several builds on my video from earlier this week - ruclips.net/video/HWN34HyUCy4/видео.html
Idk maybe I’m just simple but I don’t care for high end keyboards mouses or any peripherals. I just care about the pc itself. Plus 90 percent of these have had their prices raised insanely high over the course of a few months in anticipation for Black Friday which then they typically “ discount “ down to just below regular price. Not really any deals anymore just deception
@flemusslvandajivabjorn just saw it's dead. Sadness but these great deals have short windows. I think last year I got 990 pro 4tb for 160. 200 price and chase 40 dollar credit back. It really is right place at right time.
Those of you not buying AMD because you think Nvidia is better, you're a fool that's being played. You're literally overpaying for less performance. At any given price, AMD is as good or better with as much or more VRAM compared to Nvidia. Granted that Nvidia has the 4090 which can pump out the most fps, but aside from that, you can get a better deal on a card with more memory that'll last you longer if you buy one from AMD.

Me and literally thousands of others have petitioned Micro Center to open a store in Upstate NY for the last 5 years, none of us have gotten an email back for any type of response. I guess they don't think this area is populated enough to make a profit.
got my X570 AM4 board with a 4070 TiS it'll last me a while before i eventually go to AM5 ( in about 2 years or so )
i bought a recliner. Roscoe Big Man's Rocker Recliner. made with actual wood and not that garbage particle board pretty much all are made of these days
Hey, I have a laptop with a rtx 1650. I am wondering about CPU's. Can you name a CPU that is as powerful as a rtx 1650. I'm asking because I'm curious. Iam planning on waiting for a rtx 7050 setup because I like the number. Peace and vacuum tubes !!!!!!!
microcent has 5900xt for only 280 if you have one near you
Best buy was dead, had some good monitor deals stacked in the isles
not first just wanted to say my wallet burns! I brought sooo much stuff!
No Coolers or Drive deals?
"He or She who has no money sees sales everywhere" - Me!
I'm scared of Ryzen because it sounds like the spy murder drug that kills you if they lace a cigarette with it.
the real deal is the steelseries xxl thicc mousepad for 15 bucks
These are not "deals". These are literally the same prices I paid for components when building my AM5 build in April this year.
Black Friday and cyber Monday are suck a joke anymore
I saw a 5600X cpu for 105.00 at amazon.
could you do a couple of 'black friday PC' builds to kinda show the noobs like me could copy your homework?
I added a $650 build on a third tab on the spreadsheet, I'll work on a higher end one shortly too. There's also several builds on my video from earlier this week - ruclips.net/video/HWN34HyUCy4/видео.html
I only wear white shirts I know it strange but my job required me wearing white dress shirts and i kinda stuck with it
I thought he was gonna say he loves drinking after a big meal
There was no good sales in tech at all.... it was cheaper 2 weeks ago and they jacked up the prices
Paul, thank you for spreadsheet but it's not accurate price wise. Also, most links are to Amazon and they don't offer the best deals.
I picked up a new rtx3080 for 480usd in New Zealand thats 900 nzd
Idk maybe I’m just simple but I don’t care for high end keyboards mouses or any peripherals. I just care about the pc itself. Plus 90 percent of these have had their prices raised insanely high over the course of a few months in anticipation for Black Friday which then they typically “ discount “ down to just below regular price. Not really any deals anymore just deception
Deal alert, 980 pro 2tb for 35 bucks all in from Samsung with a specifc coupon.
That deal was expired/dead before this video was even posted.
@flemusslvandajivabjorn just saw it's dead. Sadness but these great deals have short windows. I think last year I got 990 pro 4tb for 160. 200 price and chase 40 dollar credit back. It really is right place at right time.
Paul: "The Best Gaming PC Hardware Deals"
The Deals: (*Already Sold Out)
Scalpers: 😎Tell me more, Cupcake.
Incredibly underwhelming. 5090 or bust really, makes sense to just pick up a 4080s or 4070tiS instead of the 5070 or 5080.
You can go ahead and pay $70 for a mouse
Those of you not buying AMD because you think Nvidia is better, you're a fool that's being played. You're literally overpaying for less performance. At any given price, AMD is as good or better with as much or more VRAM compared to Nvidia. Granted that Nvidia has the 4090 which can pump out the most fps, but aside from that, you can get a better deal on a card with more memory that'll last you longer if you buy one from AMD.
Still enjoying the leftovers of some people that want way to much for some used tech garbage. 😆
all crap, better deals throughout the year.
You failed to find a deal I needed 😢
How come all the items are from the bottom of the barrel tier? Don't expect any enthusiasts to watch?
