Right on guys!!!! Can’t wait for part 2 you guys are rocking it!! We have other sailing friends on SV Mandolyn who just arrived in FP about a week ago… sounds like that’s where the party’s at! 🥳🌴
And you're off! Big Dolphin bids you farewell. It's double exciting with your sister ship starting off as well on a converging course. Seems like we're getting a realistic account of this voyage, with the vagaries of weather and technical issues. First I've seen of a wind vane controlling steering. Got her parked. Look forward to the next leg, sail safe.
I would have kept sailing and made repairs under way. That anchorage looked scary with all the rock! And only 3 to 1? When the boat is powered up and moving through the water it is a more stable platform then bobbing on anchor to perform repairs. Unless you have to dive to clear a prop or something, I don't see the advantage of stopping. I have even gone to the top of the mast underway. But enough of my armchair quart backing, I wasn't there, so might have been the right decision. Looking forward to more videos!

Wahooooo so much excitement ahead!
We love our windvane and rely on it more than our janky autopilot from the 70's ;)
Well done! You have all done so much in such a short time period.
Thank you! It's been an amazing adventure so far and we are soooo thankful for all we have experienced.
Enjoyed the video so much. Am surprised you have been able to edit and release one so soon.
