Been watching since like 2014 when I was a literal kid bo2 days, it’s good to see you branching out Milo, I love the new content. I just bought Elden ring too I’m not to the dlc quite yet but I’m glad to see my favorite RUclipsr getting into the same type of games.
Flower blooms twice with serpent fist weapons in blood affinity fighting cowboy made on his arcane build was nuts and did big big numbers.
This patch brought a lot of good benefits honestly, the things it patched out were barely actual viable builds anyways. As well as blatant glitches & miscalculations.
Throwing Weapons didn’t need a nerf though.

I just started using the Thrusting Shield yesterday (3 July), and it's kicking ass today. I love the build.
On #3 depending on your stat distribution a blood infusion might be slightly better than an occult infusion if you're willing to take slightly less physical damage for more bleed buildup
shield poke set up ive used since vase game lvl 1 carries. have used upto ng 7 lvl 1 carries (me not being lvl 1 just carrying lvl 1) = talismans, lord of rot, lord of blood, greatshield, spear. blood antspur with poison mist. buff blessing hp regen, gold vow, flane grant str, eat the turtle stamina buff which stacks with the stamina regen physic. opaline (all damage negation physic OR successive) then after ur buffed use ash of war for poison. then use shield grease instesd of spell so u can have the poison blood rot on weapon aswell as buffing shield. and bada boom. ng 7 finale dlc boss carries ready.
For the shield poking setup you should try using fingerprint shield with the AoW no ash of war with occult scaling and use seppuku on the sword lance
Fingerprint is better for build number 2 because you can put "No skill" ash of war at it, buff it with "scholars shield" magic and use seppuku for more bleed. That’s better in my opinion because it perfectly balances out damage dealt/recieved

As far as the chicken wing goes the blood nerf was next to nothing. Mine went form 211 bleed to 203 bleed. Also if you want to focus on the bleed buildup you can use endure as the ash of war with blood infusion. Endure for hyper armor then do a charged heavy attack. The heavy attack will hit the enemy and when it hits the ground it will do a blood splash. So you can hit someone with 2 bleed procs in one heavy hitting attack. It instant bleeds alot of enemies its ridiculous
The great katana build should try making it poison or cold is super good because you never lose the poison and can monopolize multi procs

the blood fiend also got its poise damage decreased it takes 3 heavy attacks generally now to break when it took 2

Greatshield Talisman on the Greatshield build actually is mid given how it’s less effective on Greatshields. Would rather throw on a stamina regen/increasing talisman.
You can also run a Bleed-Infused Anspur Rapier as the poking weapon for Rot and Bleed combination.
I tried using the Blood Antspur Rapier alongside a Frozen Needle to proc as much annoying shit on the final boss of the DLC and maybe it was because I was summoning NPCs both in NG and NG+ to complete their questlines but God I could not proc a single status effect onto him lol
isnt the immortal chicken build better than the immortal samurai build? Damage seems comparable, but the health gain seems a lot more with the chicken leg build.

The rolling spark nerf is warranted, but they nerfed it so bad that the normal perfume bottle attacks deal way more damage 💀
Why warranted? The game doesn’t offer an easy mode so if users are able to create a more powerful build then more power to them. There’s thousands of build possibilities so who cares there’s something OP.
@@mrgibbles09 I haven't seen any other op build that allows you to just one shot every dlc boss and 3 shot the final dlc boss lol. Also the patch did label it as a bug so if it truly wasn't meant for it to be that strong it makes sense theyd fix it. Also I'd imagine from a developer point of view seeing sooo many people casually one shot bosses you spent months designing with a bugged ash of war would be annoying lol especially when these games pride themselves on difficult and cinematic boss fights.

I love that the patch didn’t touch the impenetrable thorns at all. Meaning that it’s functioning completely as intended 😂. I love fromsoft.

Isn't the gravity spin still better with a blood collosal sword? Haven't tested either but I don't see why picking the biggest weapon with the highest amounts of bleed per hit wouldn't be the smartest option for an ash of war that doesn't change attack speed
Alternatively if the debuff is the point why not great katana with cold infusion to proc both
@@FerrickAnima why deal 20% extra damage after a status proc if your weapon already does that much more than the GK at base? And even more so you lose out on like multiple times the bloodloss per hit
@@OfficerQuavers the point of frost is to proc it like bleed, so on top of 15% of an enemy's max HP from bleed it also nukes 10% of an enemy's max HP from frostbite
and GK has innate bleed so you CAN use both on the GK, the spin does enough hits to proc both anyway
@@FerrickAnima don't you lose a crap load of blood loss per hit to be able to proc a single 10% and gain some AR? I totally do see what your saying but I don't think the math really lines up. I'd rather do a repeatable 15% that buffs my DPS regularly, over crippling generations of the 15% to get a single 10% that comes with a debuff (every enemy definitely dies before the second frost proc if you compare your version to the same but with ugs)
@@OfficerQuavers no? at +25 cold infusion you have 127 frost + 55 innate bleed, you will proc bleed regardless, but now you have frostbite as well on top, and gravity spin does enough multihit to proc bleed too
alas I get your worries and while I have had good success with it against some bosses like Bayle and putrescent knight (when he stops running), I went back to my main build with Carian Sovereignty (which got shadow nerfed...)

Just to correct you, but the perfume bottles weren’t nerfed. The bug causing them to do more damage than intended was fixed so they now work as intended.
