@@cbk85 First of all congratulations. I have had no regrets owning Scorpio-N so far. One of the major reasons for me to start this channel is to help others by sharing my experience with Scorpio-N. I have driven XUV700 as well, in my honest opinion XUV700 feels much more nice to drive, be it in city or highways, not that Scorpio-N is very bad in comparison. The only problem in city is Manual gearbox of Scorpio-N, since you are taking Automatic, that wont be an issue.So I don't feel you will have any regrets. To sum it up, XUV700- Better driving comfort, handling, panoramic sunroof, more luxury feel SCORPIO-N- Excellent road presence and rough road handling capability, wide normal sunroof, less luxurious but feels more durable. These are my personal opinion to help you decide. and if you opt for Scorpio-N you wont regret that either, I have no regrets choosing the N over XUV700 so far. Whatever you decide, I wish you a happy and pleasant experience. 🙂
@@mukulslens Thanks for your valuable feedback/advice I too bit favour to Scorpio n and gone for PDI there I noticed a huge gag in fender and bonnet in right side I requested them to arrange another vehicle. Remaining all are up to the mark. Can i take delivery of the same if they don’t have any alternative one.
@@cbk85 If the problem is minor check if they can send it to body shop and fix it. Please go to the stock yard or service center or and compare with other Scorpio-N, if it is there in more than 2-3 cars it may be production issue on a particular batch of cars. Then I feel you can ask them to deliver the same car, after you test drive for at least 5 km and feel no odd sound coming from anywhere. If other cars are not having such gaps, then please don't accept it as it might be due to negligence of showroom driver during unloading and storage. I truly understand what you are going through after waiting for the vehicle for so long. I hope its nothing major. Do update me on your decision and wishing you all the best. 🙂
Thanks for letting us know about third row sitting comforts with practical experience sharing. It's very informative and useful post. Actually Mahindra should work on it and should try to do space management atleast by giving sliding middle row seats. Also third row ac vents are needed.
Can we say this, 'so called 7 seater?', since it is not suitable for a long journey with 7 people ? In a long travel with 7 persons, whether they feel comfortable or not but they don't have enough space to keep their luggage and so any way it is not suitable for 7 seater. If we say 3rd row is suitable for kids or children again that won't be perfect. Say I have a 12 year old daughter/son, in 8 years she/he will reach 20 years. Now there is no word for 'kid or children'. So, in 8 years I need to change a 30 lakhs rupees car which is not making much sense. Once a manufacturer started quoting as a 7/8 seater, it should be a proper one, otherwise it won't meet the basic requirements itself. After spending a huge amount of 30 lakh, again we have to manage or adjust would not be a right choice. These is my personal opinion.

Thanks. No reliable options available for second row sliding seats. However, the whole driver seat can be changed in Z2 to make it height adjustable. 🙂
Honestly, the efficiency without the second row cooling unit is low in sunny weather and the cabin does take time to get cooled. But once it does the blowers do help direct the cool air. 🙂
Thank you Aravind. Yes, wireless AA is fully functional after a software update, CarPlay is still being updated by Mahindra, so not yet available, maybe next update. W3W is functional too. Since mine is manual, I cannot use remote start/stop, but other Adrenox features are fully operational.
That's a thoughtful and sensible review of the third row. I was searching for such videos. Now, need to look for 7OO also, I think it has much more third row leg space (less headroom)and boot. Currently using 5OO, so was looking for an upgrade. Are you familiar with Xuv 5OO, if yes, how's the ride quality compared to it on Scorpio N.

Hi, is second row comfortable for elder people for long tour? As I have heard that it’s bit firm so on long drives it gets uncomfortable. Even though while test drive I have checked and I feel comfort however in 3km run I couldn’t rectify. Could you please share your experience?
Hey V, you dont have to worry, I have 65+ mother, who was comfortable all the way, from Bangalore to Chennai in this car(Second row). If last row is not being used, you can recline the second row as well. Seats are not too firm, if it was very soft, like a sofa, since its ladder frame, on those bad roads there will be lots of sideways motion to the occupants body, which will give you that vomiting sensation. Hope this helps.

Hey, over bad roads, the comfort is good in second row and acceptable in third row. Bumps are felt in all rows since it's a ladder frame SUV but they feel very normal, not harsh or uncontrolled. Body roll does exist. However it's in acceptable limits for a SUV of this class and size. 🙂
@@mukulslens ok thanks for answering also I was also being told to go for petrol AT as my running is nt that much are u aware of much mileage drop ? And wat wud be ur opinions? I have heard diesel will have battery issues if not running daily
Petrol AT will always give you single digit mileage. Maybe best of 6-8kmpl, considering the ORR traffic. As for Diesel battery issues. I had not run my car for almost a month. Just started it once in 10 days for 10 mins, and it was absolutely fine. 🙂
I would say everyone was camera shy and really nervous when the recording was ON. Off camera they were really observant about the things they said. Can't really blame them, I myself get nervous at times. 🙂

What about third row air conditioning it is good because it has only in middle row no ac vents in third row
It's acceptable. The air conditioning unit is very powerful and cools down the entire cabin quickly. 🙂

They would have given sliding second row seats, trying to figure out the reasoning behind not providing it,,, even the basic cars has this feature.
