    Kharagpur to Guntur is almost 1100+ kms, can we do it in 57 liters of Diesel? There are road constructions 🚧 and traffic to stop us on our way. Watch to see if this is the most fuel efficient Diesel 4x4 in the country.
    Enjoyed it? Give it a like and share with like minded enthusiasts. 🙂
    ⚠️⚠️For those concerned with DPF clogging at low RPM, I maintained a rpm range of 2500-3000 for next 100-200 km at least after this drive and I do not recommended driving BS 6 engines below 2000 rpm all the time as it can lead to DPF clogging. I have never faced any issues with DPF, except a manual regen message once in 25000kms. It's all about moderation and there is no set rule that a BS 6 Diesel engine should always be driven hard for longer life. 🙂

    Hey Mukul. Superb content. I also own a scirpio N diesel auto. Using hypermiling i got best of 17kmpl.
    But since u were shifting early n always below 2k rpm there is always a risk of DPF getting sooted up. What do you think abt it.

    • @mukulslens
      @mukulslens  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks🙂. 17 is great, considering Automatic Gearbox.
      I have not had any DPF issue so far. Except for a manual regen message that popped up when the car had done less than 10000km. A small drive of 15 mins near 2500 rpm is usually enough after these drives. Of course I am saying from my personal experience. This is the third Hypermiling (best one) in last 15000km and I have had no issues with the DPF clogging. 🙂

    • @mukulslens
      @mukulslens  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hey Prakash, if the pain you are referring to is located near trapezius muscles then I highly recommend getting your seat closer to the steering wheel such that your arms are not stretched while holding the steering. Also the shoulder should be fairly relaxed and seat recline must be such that the shoulder blades comes in contact to the seat back rest. And avoid a hunch. This is how I set my seat for every drive and I have been fortunate enough to be pain free. Hope it help you as well. 🙂

    Hello Mukul , I have booked my scorpio n petrol MT and its about to be delivered this week ,
    But someone close is strongly suggesting to buy diesel MT 2x4
    Due to mileage issues
    My running as of now with honda citu petrol is around 10000km a year, I live in a tier 2 city , so for majority city driving a two wheeler is primarily used . Car would be driven on weekends only or long trips .
    Plus looking at where the govt regulations are heading , petrol version seems a better option.
    Should I consider diesel ??
    As per my calculations the premium I'd pay for diesel will get exhausted in 5 odd years
    I plan to keep my vehicle to the max duration
    Your consul would be greatly appreciated

    • @mukulslens
      @mukulslens  4 месяца назад +1

      Hey Anshuman, if your running is low I always suggest a Petrol car. Yes, the consumption is very high for a petrol SUV. But remember that in long term that you plan to keep the car, a diesel engine will cost higher to maintain. Anything close to 15000-20000km per year is in Diesel territory. In my opinion a petrol SUV with it's high power output and RWD coupled with your less usage is a perfect combination. But be prepared as it's mileage figures are not going to be even close to Honda City. 🙂

    • @anshumantalwar8323
      @anshumantalwar8323 4 месяца назад

      @@mukulslens hello again , as you mentioned , i calculated my costs again and decided to purchase diesel and got it delivered today , thanks
      I needed your advise on one more thing , as Mahindra guys asked to drive diesel engine mostly above 2000 rpm as driving below would choke the def filter , and mileage is best below 2000rpm
      How do you manage to have both ?

    • @mukulslens
      @mukulslens  3 месяца назад +1

      Congratulations 🎊. The Diesel engine is very frugal and gives good mileage even at 2000, maybe upto 2500-3000 rpm (Reasonable). So get ready to have amazing journeys with your SUV. Congratulations again.🙂

While climbing uphill or a flyover, press the pedal gently and while coming off a slop, leave the pedal.
