İ open this video randomly it's camera angles and story telling is way better than any national geographic story line.

Just got done watching the Around the World in 40 Days video and now watching this series. I don't care if I have to go through hell, I want to get my PPL just to explore the world.

21:00 yes, that is not some random couple of people who spinning the world and film the journey, you guys are storytellers at most!.
The sound design of the fighter jets gave it away for me, you guys do not conform to mediocrity at anything you do.
Building planes or filming a documentary.
How this footage came to edit and by narrating only what matter nothing less and nothing more makes me hooked as a viewer and filled with emotions of the time of these different events!.
Superb job!, i salute you for all these adventures and endeavours 👋🏼

Wow, I came here via pilot Bambi, was expecting typical flying vlog. This was very interesting, special and moving. I knew nothing about this part of the world--and was fancitated! German genocide in So Africa?! Never learned this in school. And James Pitman, you're an absolute kook in the best way...I was glad to see the more serious/somber side when it was appropriate. All the best to both of you on your future adventures.

Why why why? The full length version is a CLASSIC. I am trying to understand why this has not been shown on SABC.

I know! But I had to do re-versioning of the original into 3 parts with some music edits because of copyright claims. BTW, local SA television is in a dire situation regarding documentary. Ran this by DSTV and they didn't bite. SABC is a write off.

Been wanting to chuck my mate out of my sling 2. He’s a very experienced skydiver. I can’t find anything that prohibits him from jumping out my plane. Any comments on the do’s/don’t/legalities on this? Cheers!

I remember When I was 10 I flew in a sling with James pitman , And his sling had stickers of the globe on the wings if I remember right . He did a barrelroll with me and my brother . I did not have a seatbelt on and I was confused that I did not hit the roof of the cockpit when we were upside down I found out later , why, That was the first time i ever flew in an airplane , it was a really cool experience .
