    Cream cheese frosting recipe.
    When it comes to flavor, add desired cream cheese frosting flavor, for example, you could add lemon flavor or butterscotch like in this video.

    Ingredients
    ●1 cup (227 g) unsalted butter, softened
    ●8 ounces (226.8 g) cream cheese, cold
    ●2 teaspoons flavor of your choosing
    ●2 teaspoons vanilla extract(optional)
    ●5 cups (600 g) icing sugar
    ●1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
    Instructions
    Place the butter, cream cheese, flavor, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl, and beat on medium-low speed until smooth.
    Scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl with a silicone spatula, add the icing sugar in three stages.
    Stir in the powdered sugar until combined, then scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl again,
    Add half the icing sugar and the salt.
    Mix till sugar is incorporated.
    Add the remaining icing sugar.
    Mix together until combined, then turn the mixer up to medium-high speed and whip until the frosting is fluffy and stiff. (Careful not to over-whip the cream cheese frosting, or it could become runny. As soon as the frosting looks stiff, turn off the mixer and use the frosting).
