    INGREDIENTS
    ●1½ cups warm water + 2 tbsp
    ●14g active dry yeast
    ●¼cup (84.75 g) honey
    ●3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter, softened
    ●4½ cups whole wheat flour
    ●½ tsp (3g) kosher salt
    Egg wash
    ●1egg
    ●1 tsp water
    Place the warm water in a large mixing bowl add the yeast and mix. Set aside for 10 minutes to allow the yeast to proof.
    Add the honey and butter.
    Blend in half of the flour and the salt until moistened. Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes.
    Add the rest of the flour, until dough pulls away cleanly from the sides of the bowl.

    and elastic about 5min
    Place dough in large, greased bowl and cover loosely with plastic wrap (I used a casserole pot). Let rise in warm place until doubled in size, 30 to 45 minutes.
    Lightly oil a 9x5-inch loaf pan with non-stick spray. I used two tins to make 2 medium sized loaves, the recipe makes one large loaf
    Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
    OR
    Divide into 6 equal pieces, shape into balls and place 3 in each tin
    Cover the bread and let it rise till double in size (30 to 45 minutes).
    Preheat the oven to 175°C
    Uncover dough, and brush with egg wash. bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until loaf sounds hollow when lightly tapped.
    Let the bread cool inside the tin for 10-12 minutes remove then brush with butter.
