- The purpose of me requesting they react to songs like these is just to expose them to music they may or may not have heard before, to expand their horizons and to sate my curiosity over whether they will like them or not. As such I don't really care about likes/dislikes on these video postings or even the popularity of my channel or theirs for that matter.
Also nothing is monetized on my channel so I make no money from posting them, they do these for me and I just post them here in case other people are curious what they think of these songs too after they send me them and I have watched them myself. A lot of 20-somethings don't realize that they were the biggest band on the planet for quite a while.
Exactly right songs like DONT CHANGE, KISS THE DIRT, TO LOOK AT YOU, ORIGINAL SIN and JOHNSONS AEROPLANE all magical tunes.
They were very popular, but "biggest band on the planet" is a huge stretch. And "quite a while" is also a huge stretch. Their popular period lasted perhaps 4-5 years or so.
How can you yawn when Michael Hutchence is performing? 🙄

This is the original. It came out in 1987. I used to listen to it on repeat as a kid. Come on. Do your research! Ya'll have no idea what a legend Michael H. was. They were HUGE in the 80s and 90s until Michael's tragic end. Can't believe how little you seemed to enjoy this epic song. Sad!

I need you tonight with INXS, a huge hit back in the day that was played over and over on the music channels and radio. Very popular. This group never really attracted my attention though,I had others that I prefer to listen to,but this song is ok. Not fantastic,but ok,but you can truly hear its hit potential,and thats what it became.
It's obvious that these guys are not your scene. That's cool because I've seen other people who are smart enough to appreciate them. Thanks for listening, I guess?
