Superb review Juliet. The C5 Aircross is a real avant-garde Citroën, quirky and very polarising. Just like Citroën is ment to be, full of "joie de vivre". You love it or hate it. After 25 years of driving Citroën from the XM to the Xantia activa V6. I can honestly say Citroën is back on track.
Good evening, Ms. Juliet. I hope you are doing well. Let me tell you, I had not heard of you until tonight. I loved the review. It was honest. Honesty goes a long way for me. "How ya like me now" was cool. I think Citroen needs to use you for a commercial using this song.
Great comfortable car! And a nice and funny review! :D Thank you for letting me get acquinted with that song of The Heavy. Never heard it here in The Netherlands...
Cool review yet again. Unfortunately I have to challenge your rant again ..... sorry, your free advice: If you are standing at a robot and the person in front's window washers spray over his/her roof, they are misaligned. OK, maybe that is a sign of inconcideration (is that a word?) but, if it happens when you are driving, you should probably increase your following distance. It is actually quite an effective trick to get someone to back off from your tail.
Citroën reliability isn't really an issue. I don't think it's any worse than other manufacturers. I would have no hesitation buying one. There's a guy a few houses down the road that has a Picasso and it's done a quarter of a million km and it's never gone wrong. It needs an engine mounting now, but that's all.
I totally agree with that, and especially the C5 Aircross is very well built. The problem here in the low countries is that big cars like this are forced by the goverments to be equipped with very small 3 cylinder engines to reduce CO2 which is a good thing. I drive a C5 Aircross with hi specs with a 1.2 130 bhp. It is a real gem of an engine. With enough power for relaxed cruising as it has loads of torque. But I think that these engines do not last very long. Just a thought.
I drive the sane car in UK, it is lovely to drive, what a great (little crazy 🤪) lady ❤ very funny, really miss SA where was you driving 🚗 as I used to live in Vanderbijlpark many years ago.
wow great car I might get one on the mobility scheme.

And. Yes, it has a real flying carpet effect 😉
That's a very valid point about the buttons in order to control the temperature and airflow.
I completely agree with you there.
Beautiful car! You are great to watch! Love your videos!
