I work at Academy.... we play coutry music all day and it drives me crazy. I live in Texas, grew up listening to George Strait and Dwight Yoakum, and Im not fond of modern Country. this song came on the other day, and I must say.... love it. Simple, soulfull, awesome.

I believe you mean to say "radio country" or "pop country", there is all kinds of great country out their, it just ain't on the radio. It's a pet peeve of mine when people use the general term country music when only referring to the losers on the radio. Great singer and song writer and I love his story. He is as real as they come.
I often read post that complain that the new mainstream country radio music is nor real country and that there are no artists who sing old school. Ryan is another example of how wrong and uninformed those people are. I listen to Outlaw Country on Sirus XM radio Channel 60. Ryan Bingham has been on their playlist for a while. Real Country is alive and playing just not on commercial mainstream radio.
