Dropping the pick or sweat are the furthest things from an experienced guitarist to worry about during a live show. I played live for a band almost every day for 10 years. The thought never even crossed my mind. One of the worst things that can happen is messing up a solo, breaking a string, or falling down while headbanging and running around the stage.

You notice how the guitar players are all wearing cloth wristbands? Helps keep the sweat running down their arms from getting on their hands and making it harder to play. They picked that up from the early punk bands who had to deal with it because they were playing at frantic speeds in grimy, sweltering underground clubs with no air conditioning.

Damage Inc was the weakest song on the album, and it was REALLY GOOD

I feel like Leper Messiah was the weakest one. All opinion I guess.

If you like arms going crazy and unorthodox drummers try Shannon Larkin from Godsmack. "Straight Out of Line"

Need to watch Metallica- Spit out the bone, live in London 2017. First time they played it live and you’ll see a difference in them they’re so focused on jamming and playing it well that it’s just a masterpiece

Personally think “The God That Failed” is their heaviest, but this is their first song of that formula. Groovy, slowish and fucking crushingly heavy.

Every band has that one album when they were just in the zone... every fuckin song on the recording is great. Alice in Chains had Dirt, Megadeth had Peace Sells, Metallica had Master of Puppets, Slayer had Reign in Blood, the list goes on and on. The albums where you wish they would have stayed in the groove and just recorded fuckin 50 songs because everyone in the group was firing on all cylinders and simply could do no wrong in the moment.

I agree on these albums being perfect, but the bands you mentioned released at least one or two other perfect albums.
