Thank for being so generous with your time and your work. I love to listen to the videos while I work because its a bit like having a pal to stitch with.
Hi again, I’m just watching you great tutorial as I’m now going to start this fabric page , I’m enjoy making the slow book and will learn how to show it some day. Thanks for all the help.🙏
Oh my,that is beautiful, absolutely stunning, lovely to look at pleasing to the eye! You are a very talented lady,Avery good teacher, what more can I say.I am totally addicted to your tutorials.TFS stay safe and well.Cheers from Judy in QLD Australia xoxo
I am late to the party but so glad I found this book series. Making a book was next on my list of things to try, and now I see I don’t have to go it alone! Thanks so much for sharing, Anne. A delight to see others enjoying the same things I enjoy, adding beauty to the world. I’m Melanie, living in a little yellow cottage in the Blue Ridge Mountains in the state of Virginia (eastern US).
I’m a lefty and both my children right handed. I was taught when they were little to sit them across from me so they got a mirror image of what I was showing them. I use this to learn myself now. But it is super nice to watch and learn from someone else who is left handed. I’m really enjoying putting this book together.
Love the wrap around! I haven't begun to stitch yet (just got my pages made), I am so excited to start. Both the sedate and exuberant color combinations from everyone's work is so attractive to me; I think I'll need to make two books. A lovely winter project. Thank you, Anne.
I am late to the game, but discovered you thru Rachel at Roxy Creations. I absolutely love everything You do. So I have 2 of your projects going at once🤗. I am right handed. Just a little tidbit, I have found some of the most talented artists I have come across seem to be left handed. I go to an oil painting class. My instructor is left handed, Rachel is and now you.
A lovely day with my squishy book. I watched the video first thing and then played it again while working on my pages. It's difficult to stop once you start!
I haven’t started at all but don’t miss a page I love your work I’m just starting the stitches on other things but don’t miss any it soothes my soul. Be safe thanks for helping me greave you are amazing I love your art . And God bless you and yours.
Love these latest pages especially the hole. I’m playing catch up and I’m still on pages 3 and 4 but I’m so enjoying it. Really look forward to your videos Anne. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and imagination. Has helped to keep me sane during lockdown! 🧵🌸✂️
Both my mum and sister are lefties, so they would tell me I was kack handed! I too miss the textile events. Looking forward to Textiles East Fair in Swavesey Cambridgeshire planned for February half term.
Your comment about being "Kak Handed" made me laugh. Right down here in South Africa that's what we are called. And it's a well used word in our Afrikaans language. ... meaning sh....tty😂
Shalom Anne from Miami Thanks again for sew4thesoul tutorials. I look forward to seeing how you join pages to cover the backside of the stitches. I'm a bad follower doing my work a little different, but curious to see how the back pages are joined together. I hope I'm making myself clear. Thanks.
Many creative people are left handed, adirect route to the left brain. All people are born right handed only a few overcome it (joke I saw on a t-shirt ).
Just love this page, I have looked on Empress Mills site and was wondering what other colours they had in the fabric you have used ( the blue) but couldn’t find it, does it have a name?
Hi Anne. I think I must have missed you adding extra pages to your book as I’ve just got the original four 6 x 12 inch sections. Could you tell me where you did that? Thanks. Paula
Anne, question: in this video you said you had told us in another video what type of threads you used....I must have "missed that" because I cannot seem to find the video you were talking about....I did see the stitch example video where you mentioned linen, cotton, perle threads, but nothing else.......I have DMC and purchased some wool threads for my piece...I am wanting to get the sort of effect you show with the different threads for the example stitches..... Bev
It’s great watching another lefty. Easy to follow, Question, I’m finding it difficult to know where to upload my images . How do you add to Instagram 🤔
How many pages are now in the book? I thought we started with 4 pages, but now we have 2 more. It is not a problem, I love to make the work, but just curious.

Just watched this as I move on through the book and as I watched you stitch I realised I sew Blanket stitch like a lefty!

I love how you designed the pages. So enjoyable to watch you making the stitches. It was incredibly relaxing. Beautifully made.
Oh this is a goood page! I can’t wait to try the hole technique. Love your creativity Anne....cheers!
This looks great fun.....and loving the hole effect!!! Just going off to get started.....👍✂︎ ❤️
I love the idea of the hole . Excited to start work on these two pages.
Have never done the hole technique so looking forward to doing these pages.
Both my mum and sister are lefties, so they would tell me I was kack handed! I too miss the textile events. Looking forward to Textiles East Fair in Swavesey Cambridgeshire planned for February half term.
This is so awesome I want to try to do this the next two months when I will have plenty of time to do it
Awesome
Thank you so much, but if first stitch separate pages, and then get all together, it will be easier??? ❤❤❤

Hi Anne. I think I must have missed you adding extra pages to your book as I’ve just got the original four 6 x 12 inch sections. Could you tell me where you did that? Thanks. Paula
In the first video I explain that I stitched 4 sets of 4together xx hope that helps
Anne Brooke Textile Artist thanks. I misunderstood and have 4 sets of the double pages. I’ll add more on. So much more fun to be had!

I use Peele, Danish cotton and linen mainly. If I was using DMC I would use a variety of different numbers of strands
@@AnneBrookeTextileArtist Anne, do you mean Perle instead of "Peele"???
@@beverley-memawmawclarkwhit5102 I'm sure she does. :-)
It’s great watching another lefty. Easy to follow,
Question, I’m finding it difficult to know where to upload my images . How do you add to Instagram 🤔
On your account just add photos, you can do that either by taking a photo or selecting from your gallery xx
Where can I find some linen thread?
How many pages are now in the book? I thought we started with 4 pages, but now we have 2 more. It is not a problem, I love to make the work, but just curious.
Hi I started with 4 sets of 4 pages ( 2 pieces of fabric follded) if that makes sense.
@@AnneBrookeTextileArtist Thank you Anne. I have already started with these new pages.
Did I miss joining pages 6 to 7?
I missed them too, I think. I thought there where only 4 pages to make, and the front and back.
They are coming soon xx
