Except Steve Martin plays in the Earl Scruggs style, which I detest. Bluegrass banjo. Margo plays mountain banjo. Far more lovely and listenable to my ear.

What an amazingly talented and lovely young lass. The thought that anyone out there might be saying rude and crude things about you, or any of your friends and family in these videos, is genuinely upsetting. Unfortunately it's the blessing and curse of the Internet. Look at all the comments in German and Russian, showing how banjo music played by a lass in the Appalachians (hope I have that right) is reaching the ears, hearts and minds of people all around the world, and giving them happiness. That the same thing could result in cruelty defies comprehension. Truly hope Steve Martin sees your videos someday; the man knows a thing or three about picking and am sure he would be thrilled to see one so young with so much skill. Keep up the amazing work, Margo!

Love this! I got really hooked on Adam Hurt's version of this, which I play on my gourd banjo, but I never could understand that walk-down on the fourth string (in the A-part) until I heard this version of it. I couldn't understand why it didn't go all the way down to the open fourth string. All of a sudden the light went on! Thank you. Trying very hard not to be jealous of your skills, and (mostly) succeeding. Somehow it's easier when it's young people who appear to have born playing.😆🤣 Keep up the great work!!

The world needs more people who haven't lost that spark. Pepole who haven't completly resigned to the bleak, dystopian nightmare that's creeping ever closer. Thank you for sharing your gift of playing the banjo. When I was younger my Mom signed me up for piano lessons: I never appreciated it but now as an adult I wish I had stuck with it. Never lose your enjoyment of playing that banjo.
