If you are ever thru Gage, Oklahoma, there is a huge artesian well turned into a huge artesian filled pool. No chemicals!! Grew up swimming in that pool and absolutely love it
SO good to see you "on the road again!!!" It has been so long -- I was hoping that you were OK and still driving -- no problems!!! I was really missing the drives and comments!!!
That first snow video was the best trucking video I ever saw. It was wildly exiting, like a truck roller coaster in the snow. And it was filled with sarcasm. For those who never saw it, Mike has toned his act way down since then. Back then it was Wild Man Mike !
Great to see another video!! As some of the comments stated, we don't care if you have traveled that route many of times and did videos, we just want to ride with you!!! So, I am hoping we get to see you again soon!!! Enjoy your conversations! Enjoy Just riding with you and not having a conversation as well!! Take Care!! Have a Super Time Off from Work!!! 🤗♥️🙏🏼
GREAT CATCH MIKE !!!!! you spotted the cattle up ahead and brought her to a stop in the most professional manner I expected from you. I was watching it all and on the edge of my seat. Eso mero mi campion !!!
Another beautiful scenery.. Along with my favorite Semi Truck driver. Mountain Man Mike..Don't get much better ..The only way would be in some snow..God bless..Be safe🇺🇸🌹❤️
Thanks for their ride, used to live in Hot Sulphur, still have a son in GJ, brings back a lot of great memories, used to work with Bob Busse in Grand Lake as well as the Mill, used to plow snow on Ute Pass
Enjoying your videos n stories Beautiful Scenery . We lived in Colorado for many years We r missing our family so much. But happy in EastTexas.Stay safe
WOW! What a beautiful drive, Mike. Really enjoyed seeing our old home state in all its glory. Loved camping in all those places in that type of weather. Some of our best memories.
Enjoying the views and commentary. You could attach a bag behind the console or behind your seat so you can keep them from rolling around on the floor of your passenger side floor.
My wife and I have driven that road many times. If a truck comes up behind me I will always pull over at the fist opportunity and let them get ahead of me. I know that they are on a schedule to get some where and not sight seeing. Truck drivers are way under appreciated.
Had a good time on the ride, Mike. Happy Travels To You and Bessy The Second. That was some fantastic scenery you took us through, so funny seeing the longhorn cattle. Maybe they wanted a ride to a PBR event nearby. I've heard there's a long wait getting replacement parts for vehicles. Please keep us posted on how long it takes for the dealership to fix your daughter's car. Hope she gets great service from it when she gets it back.
As I watched this video, with sound turned off (to eliminate the damned RUclips ads) this Idahoan, who has vacationed countless in southwest Colorado, recognized this highway. Heading west to Lizard Head Pass, Rico, and Delores. The Rio Grande Southern narrow gauge railroad moved freight and passengers through this country, back in the 1920s (however much lower) along the river. Abandoned in the 1950s, some relics and roadbed can still be seen. A trip on the train would take much longer than Mike's truck! And most likely a rough-riding journey! Great to see it again!!
M M Mike! That was a beautiful ride with great company. What a joy soooo relaxing. And I love your country, just stunning! Fantastic to have you back on line for now, THANK YOU MMM. Peace x
Glad to see you are back!! Been buying/leasing Kia vehicles for over 15 years. Never a problem with a warranty repair. People always talk them down, but we love 'em. Had 2 Amanti, a Cadenza, a Spectra 5, 3 Optimas, 2 Tellurides, and now a Stinger. My stepdaughter had a Soul that she loved which she replaced with a Ford Ecosport that had to have the engine replaced at 50K. The issue with Kia vehicles being stolen is low end models that still use a key. Hope your daughter gets her car back soon. Enjoy every video you post.
Hello I enjoyed your video you get to see a lot of Beautiful Scenery’s. Haha glad the cow didn’t get on the road it looked like saw something on the side of the road to eat. Water is good for you stay hydrated
Hello Mike I really enjoy watching your videos brings back a lot of memories I drove truck 1973-1998 i compliment you for how you drive in snow especially with lite loads ,stay safe ,Mountain Mike
I could be wrong. But it looks blissfully green in telluride Colorado. It's dry and hot as he'll in my region of Idaho. We had lightning and thunder and maybe 45 seconds of moisture. I envy you right now. Send some rain our way. Until then I'm just gonna watch your video. Be safe. 😊😊😊😊
I'm so glad your posting again. Thank you for the ride down this pretty road. Colorado has some pretty creeks. I love how the clouds seem to be coming out of the trees in some areas. Til the next time--be careful!
I did the same drive in August of this year, it was great, same sort of weather until I got down the other side of Lizard Head Pass. I have driven the other side from Ouray to Silverton, twice, but, never again. Much more relaxing drive down the west side of the mountain range that seperates the two roads.
They have that in Idaho Mike, called Indian springs in American fall Idaho, fresh water out of the ground and it's warm too. They also drain it and refill it every night.
Nice to see another video and listen to you talk about what's going on. Whether it's with your family or things you see in the world. Thanks Mike peace out
Thank you for sharing this spectacular ride. The scenery is beautiful. I feel safe riding with you. Even on the million dollar highway. Just listening to your commentary has taught me to be a better driver because I was guilty of some of those things.
Mike, If you look on RUclips you'll find that from 2010 to about 2018 the KIA engines were very prone to failure due to problems with metal shavings from machining not being proberly cleaned before the engines were assembled. Usually causing rod bearing or piston ring failures. KIA's fix for the recall was a modification to the knock sensor that didn't help. My wife's 2010 Forte needs a new engine but it's not covered under the recall.
Awesome scenery Mike. But i been in the low flat ground of Minnesota to long. That narrow twisty road in a semi, in anything less than a Vette would drive me to drink I'm afraid lol
It's been almost 2 weeks of triple digits here lately 🥵🔥🥵... Glad you are doing well 🙏💯.. Hope you continue to make videos of your travels... 🙏 We will ride along with you 💯 anytime 💯💪
Always enjoy riding with you. I’d love to hear more about the truck, using gears, exhaust brake and such. Especially since I know nothing about big rigs. Some of the terms I don’t know. Tips, tricks and techniques. It’s an education and opens a new field of learning.
Wish I could leave this heat in south Jawjah & spend the rest of the summer in that balmy 50-60's degrees weather! I share lots of your frustrations with other drivers! I drive our county roads doing generally a few miles per hour over speed limit & it seems most everybody wants to drive like 15-20 mph over so I pull over often to get them off my bumper!
Hi Mike, I love your driving ethic of being courteous to following traffic and allowing others to pass you. I feel the same way and drive that way too, but my chariot is a lot smaller than yours -- it is a Captiva 2.2L auto diesel, but the ethic is the same. I normally travel at the max speed allowed on our roads, but I pay great attention to actual conditions (road and weather), moderating my speeds accordingly. Sometimes I am happy to meander along at well under the limits, enjoying the scenery, but I also keep an eye on what is behind me, and will often pull over to allow traffic to pass, sometimes even waiting for traffic a bit further behind (yes, even trucks) to catch up and go by, so I can continue to meander without "hassles". On the other side of that "going slow" coin, if I see a long chain of traffic ahead of me that would be nigh impossible to pass, I will generally slow down and allow plenty of free road ahead of me. It is much more pleasant to drive with open road ahead rather than a queue of traffic. In one journey recently I did just that, and it was many miles before I saw them again, and the queue of traffic was just the same. Why rush unnecessarily? Keep cool and don't stress.
Oh yeah. It's always nice to sit and drink while Mike does the driving.
😂😂😂😂😂👏👏👏

Thank you! I was raised in Colorado. I live in Florida. This helps me when I miss my home state.
SO good to see you "on the road again!!!" It has been so long -- I was hoping that you were OK and still driving -- no problems!!! I was really missing the drives and comments!!!

Beautiful compared to this 105 heat here in Fresno.
Its amazing how different waters taste. I will have to try a more alkaline water.
Nice ride thanks!
