One day I was walking back from the gym in Patterson and I saw Annie at the apt! It took me a few minutes to realize it was her. I wish I could have met you guys during my program.

This is so wild! My program was so long ago and we were the first group to live in Patterson after they had been built! Beautiful!! I miss it!
Sooooo glad they let you use command strips now!! I'll be doing the DCP Fall Advantage 2016 and that was one thing I thought was so annoying about housing while I've been researching. Btw, your videos are awesome and super helpful (:
you should put a shower curtain up by the sink in your room. That way, when your roommate is getting ready at 5am, it won't be nearly as bright for you when trying to sleep. I did a cp in 2013 and a lot of people on my program did that
Oh trust me we tried that, it worked for a week or so then one day at 3AM it came crashing down & wouldn't stay up. :/
I am super crazy excited to say. Starting in February, I will be doing the Disney College Program. I am only able to do it because there was a change in how long after graduating from college can apply to do the program it is now one year after graduation, and I graduated last December.
Awwww~ I love all the room decorations and the Christmas lights! Makes the room a lot prettier! Love ur videos!!
I really miss my Patterson apartment. I used to live at building number 6, which is beside the security. I was an International CP btw :D

I have a question for you! Since you don't have a dryer and a washer, do you have to go to the other building and pay for each laundry?
I live in Korea so I've never seen a laundry machine that takes coins... So I've been very curious about this! Thank you for your informative video
Kim Haun Yeah they have about 3 laundry buildings in the complex and you can either pay with coins or a debit card will work as well.
i extended and im in building 16! i passed by that adorable pink bug yesterday!

I would recommend Patterson myself, it's clean and quiet. You get what you're actually paying for.
Hey just wanted to say your vlogs are awesome! I like how you capture just about all the aspects of the cp in a cool fun way, good job.
Im sure your videos will help and inspire any future cp's that are in or will be in the process of becoming a cp.
I did the cp in the spring of 09, and so glad i did it that place has such an affect on you, cant put into words, but you know what i mean lol. More so after i left its been 6 years since my program and can still remember it like it was yesterday. Thats how i came across your vlogs, im actually moving to Orlando in august because of the impact the cp and just FL living made on me. That place has a force field like the island on the show lost lol, and i cant wait to go back. Many people i met there never left when the program ended they went full time and are still happy working for the mouse.
When does your program officially end? What are your plans after the cp?
Oh yeah a cool vlog you should make is, all the places cp's get discounts at w the disney id, i saved alot of money w that! Like at cici's etc.
Oh and Mickey's retreat that would be a cool vlog!

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoying watching my vlogs. Disney is an amazing place, I'm sure going to miss it when I go home. My program officially ends May 8th. I plan on going home and applying for the Disneyland College Program.
Did you ever think about doing the professional internship in FL?
Heard it pays a lot better, more of management positions...
If I do a professional internship it'll be in Disneyland not Disney World.

Thank you for watching!! I use a Canon Powershot Elph 330HS! It's an amazing little camera. 😊 Yes I will but the week of the 15th-22nd I won't be working.
so this is totally random but i had forgotten that everyone calls the round end of a road a round about cause in massachusetts we call them rotaries so i was like wait what lol but seriously love your apartment :)
Danielle Walsh That's more like a cul-de-sac though. Rotaries are busier/main road.
Awesome apartment tour! Very informative :). The only question I have is what do you do with the big stuff that you may have bought while in florida? Like the shelving in the bathroom. Are you or one of your roommates taking it home? Or do leave it behind for the next guest?
Thank you! All of that type of stuff my other roommates brought from home. I actually didn't purchase any furniture because there's no way I could bring it home with me. If you do decide to purchase stuff like that there's a Facebook group where you can sell stuff on it and other CP's can buy it. 😊

If I'm not mistaken I heard u say it's a bit more expensive in Patterson. I was under the impression that accommodation is free
Robyn Smith Nope its not free, each week they take out 90-140 a week depending on your apartment size and how many roommates you have.
I am doing the dcp this upcoming Fall, and before you extended and you lived in Chattum did you know you had gotten the roommates you asked for, or did you not find out until check-in? Thanks, love your videos, they have been making me even more exciting about going!
Of course the one with the biggest closet is the one who has her own room now!
This video was super helpful! Deciding between The Commons and Patterson Court right now. I do have one question. What type of camera do you use to record these videos? I'm looking into getting one so I can start vlogging during my DCP. :)

My personal favorite is definitely Patterson.

Ahhh Epcot is my home. I hope you love it as much as I did. I worked in attractions on mission space. And I get to come back to Disney for my second program in August! I absolutely love your videos. You're keeping the Disney magic alive for me until I move down again. :)

How long is the walk from the commons to the busses? I hear not all busses go to commons. I really like that complex the best but I won't be bringing a car! D: I wanna weigh the options
It's about a 10 minute walk, it isn't too bad.
That feel when you're only 14 and you're deciding how you'd decorate your side of the room when you do the DCP.

What do you have to buy for the apartments?? I heard blanket and pillows for your bed? Do they have wifi in every apt? 😳
They have Internet, but for WiFi you need to bring a router

Question..If you live at say the Commons, could you go use the Patterson gym?
Yup, w your valid cp id you have access to all disney property. All the housing complexes, parks, back stage, mickeys retreat, etc. W that id its like a key to disney, exploring back stage at all the parks and all the disney properties was really fun thing to do lol.
Plus you wont believe how many businesses in the direct area give discounts to cast members really makes a difference after you see your pay check lol. Cici's is always full of cp's haha. all u can eat pizza at a discount win win lol

Your welcome. The first week or two is kinda overwhelming w being in a new city w new people and all the disney information they give to you all at once. But everyone is nice and very helpful! And theres always a number you can call for any questions you have. Take full advantage of being a CP their are tons of perks, cp`s are very important to disney and they treat you as such. By week 3 youll be a pro lol.
Just keep an open mind and have fun even on the long dreaded shifts because you will have a few of those...

Nope I just extended my program from Fall to Spring.

Around the complexes they have washer and dryer buildings that we use.

Yay how exciting. I would recommend buying a good quality camera. Look into the Canon Powershot series, that's what I use. Also just being yourself on camera, making sure you aren't too shaky and just have fun with it. 😊

I want to say it was $106 a week, but that was 2 years ago. Prices go up every year.
