I’ve never jacked my car up from those pinch welds, I usually go from the big circle behind the front subframe that is structural to the unibody, although I do have to pull my car up on some wood blocks due to my slightly shorter tires than stock but it works like a charm.
@@ZLwh1ne nope, I do have some pinch weld blocks for next time I jack it up but 5 years and being gentle and I’ve only left some light imprints in the metal
Yesterday I had to lay down in the filthy raining road to find the jack point on my camaro to install the donut tire while it was still raining bullets because some lazy city road workers left a ton of debris in the streets that shredded my $500 tire in 5 places.
Please...just need a bit of clarification...You used 2 floor jacks to raise this vehicle from side to side? Did you raise each side a couple of inches at a time before you finally installed the jack stand on the driver's side? When I use the floor jack and start on the passenger's side, I have to raise it up quite a bit to get the jack stand in at a height for removing the oil filter. I'm just amazed you were able to keep those floor jacks in position. I haven't tried using 2 floor jacks but I'm worried that the first jack would start to pivot unless I went side to side in small increments. Thanks
ok - so seeing these youtube videos, i've decided i want to get jack pads for my 2014 camaro, and just leave them on. I do have a question though - I'd like to put those "Jack Pads" on the pinch points then use a pair of motorcycle scissor jacks (one on each side of the front) - to raise the car 10" so i can do oil changes. Since these motorcycle jacks support 1100 lbs, then 2200 combined is way more than necessary to raise front of the car off the ground. What do you figure?
Was wondering about the video play to show movies while parked does this work for a 2018 camaro with the usb drive thanks can’t find anything on this would really help to know how to do this thanks
Dad did not look impressed at all. Lethal put some stickers that indicate where to position your jack, (lift here). I know someone is going to say "that would take away from the appearance of the vehicle", As that big red stripe doesn't?

Just got mine this week. Seem pretty well built and will definitely help with oil changes.
Bro your crazy working on that slanted driveway
Use blue locktite on those Allen screws. You do not want them flying off a year or two later.
Had mine on my 6th Gen for over two years and that car tunnels and shakes. Still attached no issues
I did, why not

You haven't collapsed that circle part yet? 😬

Where do you put the jack stands on the back?

If you put the floor jacks on the subframe rails, you’re good to go.
@@Lethalgarage thanks so much for the quick response.
Thanks Matt 💯👍🏻
Ok so what if I don’t have those neat little magnetic lift things 😩😩😩

these are an awesome lil addition
BUT also makes it easy for thieves doesnt it?
i dont have wheel locks yet but mostly park in garage overnight.
Wheel thieves would steal your wheels regardless.

Wonder how this will work on lwoered cars. i dont want to go over a bump and have a jack point get me stuck xD. they look to tuck WELL
there is Heisenberg in the background 😂
LOL! I thought the same thing!
How many jack stands do you use to lift a 2015 Camaro rs?
If you want the entire car off the ground, 4
Why is Heisenberg on your video lol
Thinking about useing this on my Honda 😂
They make a universal Jack MagPad for those cars
LethalGarage do u have a link plz?
I love it my bro keep up work and love little video 💯💯💯💯💯💯👍
Hey quick question! Does the 6th gen Camaro SS 1le come in automatic? Or does it only come in stick ? Thanks !😁
it only comes as a manual. The regular 1SS, 2SS, and ZL1 come as automatics however the 1LE variants are more track focused manuals
You can spec an auto with the 1LE package, but they do not call it a 1LE
What do you mean spec?

so where is the link to buy mickey mouse lift adapter
Thanks brotha
Like it.
Do you need these
I wouldn’t say you ‘need’ them. But it sure makes loft a car easier
It’s $90 lol.
Probably less when on sale.
This is wrong you're supposed to jack it up at the big circles on the subframe
/facepalm
@@Lethalgarage that's what the manual says
@@darthbolloful the manual also highlights the pinch welds as lift points
@@Lethalgarage different manuals ig sorry
Come on really? A5 year old could install lift pads with out a video
You’d be shocked.
