Thanks for posting this. I just got my 2010 Camaro 2SS last Decemeber after owning a Challenger for the last 6 years. So this platform is fairly new to me. The videos you, Reckless Raquel and HerAutoPerspective post have been like the Bible for me when it comes to 5th gens. That and frequenting the Camaro5 forums. Lol
I just love watching you doing mods to your camaro. I don't have one anymore l have had two in the past 88 and a 95 . But I love the new camaro I would like to get me one again. I love what you done to yours it is gorgeous. 👍
You should get one again if you're looking for an easy and fun car to build with decent power. I am not planning on ever getting rid of mine! Thank you for your support.
I recently bought 2015 rs that I am completely in love with. I post it here and there on my vlog channel and I’m so obsessed with it. For some reason after the 2015’s I have never liked the way the Camaros were coming out. But I said well I know for sure I want at least a 2015 😂 couldn’t be happier
I agree that a better suspension is THE #1 best thing I did for my 2018 SS. I added the Bilstein B-14 PSS Nordschliffe sport suspension ($1100) with BMR adjustable end links (350). The end links have real rubber bushings instead of polyurethane so that I can feel each wheel and I know exactly where the limits are. At 135 mph it was solid as a rock. The FE3 suspension had these cheap links and clunky sounding shocks that just didn't cut it with me. In total I spent $2000 after installation and the Alignment. Also the front splitter, rear diffuser; and the K&N sealed intake and filter make a huge difference. I have the quad exhaust and love that snarl. My car only has 13k on it. So I bought the stage 1 cam kit and new valve springs. This gives me 515 hp and 491 lb ft after tuning. I have not installed it yet. I have 1 more year left on my factory warranty when I bought this CPO SS to replace my V6 Camaro. I LOVE the way your car looks Ms. Kayla! Rock on!!! 😊
I like the fact that you are learning and sharing your experiences with us. I enjoy watching the work being performed. My 21 SS 1LE only has a catch can... Keeping it bone stock for the most part...
I agree with everything in this video. Only difference is I went with different brands. I went with stainless works long tube headers, K&N cold air intake, Pedders coil overs and sway bars, also cammed and dyno tuned👍
I have a 2022 2ss camaro and my car is still under warranty. But down the road I will install 2" kooks stainless steel headers and a air cleaner with a clear cover box.
Absolutely love your car! I have a 14 Camaro(also white) with similar modifications! And you are absolutely right, transforms the car!! Love the video's!! New sub right here!💪💪
Impressive advice from a lady your age. Cheap parts and tools will end up costing more for sure. I definitely will get the kooks for my camaro ss. I have no idea how to get it tuned since I live in the middle of nowhere in Western Colorado. I'm still trying to decide on the exhaust behind the headers. Thanks for sharing your experience. Love your videos!
Thank you so much. I've learned my lesson from going cheap in the beginning and now the Camaro is a whole new beast with quality parts! I actually have the stock exhaust on my car still. The Kooks headers alone sound so good!
Hi, i'm Matt from Germany and i'm new on your channel. I start to watch your Videos 3 days ago. And you get every day over 1000 follower, thats crazy 👌👍😀 Great videos. Lot of fun to watch. In 2011 i drove a Camaro. It was a great time. I hope i see more of your videos ☺️👌
I agree with all of it but I went with speed engineering long tubes and a K&N CAI, they sound just as amazing with kooks and are made with T304 SS as well
Kayla thank you for all your advice. 💯 I love your car and will always be a beautiful car. I have a Chevy SS. Here in Australia there known as the Commodore. Great content. 💯😎 Aussie Fan 🤟🇦🇺😎
Thank you for giving these suggestions, I just got a 2013 Camaro RS a few months ago and my previous car was a 98 Dakota , so I'm new to having a sports car. I will defiantly will have to get the sway bar end links.
I may not have a camaro but I will definitely take your word on it as far as your modifications go very informal and helpful video looking forward to what's next for your ride!
i purchased the 2022 1le 2ss mainly due to the suspension. Power is nothing without a solid suspension, along with suspension the tires ur running are a major factor to how ur car grabs. What tires do u run? what tires do u plan on running at LS fest?
The Camaro has always been more the just a muscle car. The original z28 came came with bigger swaybars. The gen 3 was sport touring focused, for the time it was a well driving car. It was considered a sweeper, it would hug corners and sweep around curves much better and faster than than orther domestic and Japanese cars. The Camaro has always been Corvette, sport touring inspired and still is
Hi I'm from the 956 RGV South Texas.. you Cammy would sound insane if you put some boomers exhaust the ones they use for NASCAR saw it done in a show in Power Nation channel......
so the pipes under the car are the factory ones ? I've seen most videos show people go for straight exaust pipes for more direct flow and stuff like that and say it helps
Well said I am looking at getting that stuff done . I love your determination in doing your own work , I enjoy doing my own work on my vehicles as well. 😊🤟
I was told not to use a dyno for headers and axle back. The guys said its a waste of time. Unless its something big like a cam or blower. They did delete the AFM.
I have a 15 2 SS Camaro Would y’all recommend getting all the factory 1LE suspension or getting the aftermarket suspension you had in your video? I have points from Gm and can get if for free.
well done...Ur so correct about the suspension having to be done...it';s a must on older Camaro's....thank U ...oh yes...your enthusiastic appeal is perfect. 😃😃😃😃
es slow or ss low? That was a nice touch!!! lol Cool Great job Kayla... Looked like it was hard to breathe. I watch some other girl in Arizonia''s car channel too. They looked like they were baking this past week. Stay Cool!!!!!
Anything requiring welding should be done by someone else, since I ain’t got the thing needed for welding and most people don’t either. Which I think is mostly exhaust work.
I have a 2011 2SS and getting ready to clutch swap. Leaning the McLeod way, but a lot of ppl are saying Centerforce so just curious what clutch you use ??
I understand that the new Cadillac CT5 si built on the Camaro platform... Do youy know if your suggested suspension parts would also work on the Cadillac..? (particularly thinking of the high-performance V-Series..)
The CT5 is going to use the newest 6th Camaro chassis design I think 2019- up. Hers is the Zeta platform. It’s still a good platform just an older design. The Holden Commodore also used the Zeta.

Her Camaro looks so clean and makes me want to get a Camaro but I already have a little Civic. Very nice and clean Camaro Kayla, good job.

Speed engineering makes really good headers

Great video Kayla, I like the way you explain everything that you have done to your camaro.
Thank you so much Tony, trying my best!

Definitely a good starting point. But after power and handling. You have to stop it. What has been done with the brakes?
There are plenty more parts to think of and ass to a car, but this video was a starting point for those just starting off.
