This helped me because I found out that I had my ukulele tuned the complete wrong way for a leftie. Thanks so much!
Its easier if u don’t change it. And you can do cords even right handers cant
Nice! Thank you for sharing. It removed many of my doubts.
thanks man! great lesson! got it tuned!!!
Nice bro 👌👌 & you did a great job !!
Thank you. The best tuning for left handers that I found.
Thanks so much!
Thanks, John. I just restrung my 2 right-handed ukuleles to left, and was frustrated when they constantly went out of tune. Good tip about the new strings needing to flex. Just subscribed to your channel 👍🏻
Thanks man!! I got my first ukelele and this helped me tune it🤙🏻
Thanks so much!
hey man! thanks a bunch. just got my instrument. absolute newbie. :)
I played upside down for 1.5 years and pretty intermediate now , but now knowing this and i don't even need to change my strings to tune it left handed, is just breaking my head. 😭😭
but the g string's thickness is more than e string..so can we make the g string sound like e??
I didn't even know that a Ukulele can be tuned both lefty or righty it depends on the way you tune .
Thank you. I had it in the wrong order.
Thank you so much for this! I had a question though, maybe a silly one (I just started learning today), but is there really a difference between the thickness of the strings? For now I tuned my ukulele like this, but is it better to get it restrung for a lefty?
Pretty sure you have to swap the two middle strings over. The two outter look the same skinny to me!
Honestly I didn’t change them I just retune them backwards and that help me I didn’t restring it sounds the same to me if it sounds like (my dogs has flees) without pressing any chords it should be fine then again that’s just my personal opinion I’m not a pro lol
Me, I play upside down hehe
@@shaiderblack6311 me too actually.
I learned all the chords upside down. It works it's not like guitar.
Is this a left handed ukulele or right handed one? Are you just tuning it in reverse order? Or is it strung in reverse order as well?
It's a right-handed ukulele but tuned upside down so it would work for lefties :)
So I found out that I was playing like a leftie recently and I thought that was normal but guess what I’m right handed am I the only who’s right handed and decided to play like a leftie? or is it just me bc when I first tuned my uke unconsciously grabbed it like a leftie so please tell me if that happened to you bc I’m starting to think that I’m the only one 😂
This happened to me as well. And now I'm having trouble tuning this thing so I can make sence of the chords as a leftie player .
same hahaha
@@lboyzo98 change the strings that should help
I know quite a few pure righties who play left-handed. I'm pretty ambidextrous so anytime I take up a new activity I need to decide which side is better for me. Kind of a pain but I'm used to it.
I'm right handed and i learned all the chords upside down bc my daughter has a left handed tuning.
For some reason it works (don't try this on a guitar though....
Hello, do I chenge the ukulele wires because I am lift _handed or is there no need to change them ?? Please answer me
