Shes a quick learner but the teacher made it easy to understand the mechanics of shifting. My friend tried to teach how to manual shift but not as well as Mike explained it.

I remember when I tried to drive my wife's mustang. It was hella funny. I never had any experience. My wife let me drive and when I was letting out the clutch on first the car bucked hard and I hit my head on the steering wheel and she yelled at me to push the clutch in. Took me like a month to get it all down. Now I love manual cars. I have a 96 t100 with a 5 speed. Love the videos Mike and I love the 350Z car is a beast.
Now you gotta take her to some hills with stop signs or traffic lights and get that part out the way. I think that was the hardest part for me when learning to drive a manual. I got one lesson from my pops and after that he said "that's all I can teach you, the only way you're really going to learn is to get out and drive on your own." So I got up around 6 every morning for about 4 days and would be gone all day just driving in the city, on the highway, I live in Colorado so I'd drive up and through the mountains to get used to going up hill from a stop and being in traffic on a hill getting that foot work down to not stall out or roll backwards into someone behind me.
The best advice I’d give her is don’t even touch the gas until the clutch engages and once she starts rolling then give it some gas and once u get going let off the clutch then. I notice 350 clutches engage HELLA late so that’s just something I learned
