You guys have been so helpful to me. I have Gleeson 9, 7 tumours in my 3.2cm wide prostate (still small), no symptoms. PSMA-PET scan indicates no spread. I was setup for surgery but thanks to you and others, decided on radiation. I asked for brachytherapy in addition to external beam, which they agreed to although did not seem standard (there are many findings that indicate that this should be absolutely standard). I also asked for the gel buffer, again something that should be absolutely standard. I am on ADT. I have no symptoms because I am lean and fit, at least not yet, but it bothered me because ADT doesn't 100% eliminate testosterone. My next step was to ask for Darylutamite (however you spell it) as a supplement to ADT because it is an amazing complement. I discovered its cellular activity from a Canadian specialist. You've just confirmed its usefulness.

I was treated for 3+4 Gleason by 6 month prostap injection each month and 4weeks radiotherapy my latest pas in Nov 2021 was 0.05 and in May 2022 0.1 what is the likely percent it is going to go up until it indicates a recurrence and what they do next.

What do you make of a decreasing psa ? Starting point was 12. But after a strict change of diet to low carb combined with fasting ( weight loss of 25 lbs in 3 months ) the psa steadily dropped and has been in low 7s the last few tests. A second biopsy also seems to suggest the tumor has receded. Thoughts ?

What do you think of an initial treatment with IRE ( nano knife ) ( available in Germany ) followed up with a potential hormone therapy? Or perhaps radiation ?

Hi Dr Scholz, my question would be how accurate is the biopsy these days, is it 100% correct, if it says I have a cancer tumor, do I definitely have one, or can it be wrong ? Thanks so much for you information, it is absolute Gold !!

You can get a second opinion on this without having to go through biopsy again. A different pathologist can look at the same sample cores and re-evaluate the Gleason numbers.

I think he had better educate himself on hormone therapy. The side affects can be devastating. I sit around with towels on me head and chest all day and night. They get soaked through and then it is chills. My doctor has tried two drugs to help but I still sit in sweat. The only time I even see my doctor is before I get a Lupron shot. The last visit I said I wanted more scans and blood test to see were I am. I know it was in lymph nodes up to chest level.

I’m not understanding why one 4+3=7 out of 12 scores dictates I have to have some type of procedure? Seems like a scam.

Unless you have been following these two people and there work to help people decide a course once getting cancer, I would caution you to be less negative towards them. All they do is offer the facts and that's it, you can check out what they say on the web. Plus you can go to their accredited website for additional answers.
