I am, a high risk prostate cancer patient, Stage IIIC (cT2a, cN0, cM0, grade 5 [Gleason 3+4, 4+3, 4+5]), in my prostate cancer treatment process. I had 1 Firmagon and 1 Lupron treatments, and, 10 EBRT treatments. My PSA decreased from 5.4 to 2.2. I am not sure if it is in good progress or not.

Is hormone therapy an option for intermediate (teal) level prostate cancer?
I am 54 and two urologists say I need to go for radiation or removal soon.
Is hormone therapy eternal or does it stop when the PSA is lowered?

My husband has bone Mets in his spine, shoulders, hips and one leg. The cancer has also metastasized to several lymph nodes. He has had radiation on his spine and pelvic area. He is now doing hormone therapy. Is this going to cure him? He is 70 years old and was diagnosed with prostate cancer 12 years ago but it was on a wait and see level
