Unfortunately, Oakley discountinued the Advancer feature. I have the Radar Advancer Road and Trail Torch. These are my first glasses that actually help with fogging. I doesn’t totally prevent fogging for me (especially in winter/XC skiing uphill), but it disappears very quickly due to great air flow. So I’m very happy with them and use them for XC, running and biking. Since it’s discontinued, you may find some good deals on the Advancers from 3rd party dealers now.
I run in palo duro canyon in Texas it’s mostly sunny very bright conditions on dirt of course do you think the trail torch would be beneficial in that environment or would you recommend different lenses ?
Honestly I found them to be great all around lenses but I’m also someone who isn’t as bothered by the sunlight. If there’s trees and shade they’d come in better use, but if it’s mostly unshaded I’d look for a slightly darker lens that still provides contrast.
Well they’ve got a golf 🏌️♀️ version of these so it seems they could be used for more casual purposes. Personally for me it’s a bit much especially with the advancer tip in the middle. To each his own though, it would probably be more subtle if you had ones with less color pop in the frame. 👌
@@rsii83 I actually did a comparison of the two sunglasses. If you don't have issues with the brow bar on sunglasses blocking your vision for cycling I'd go with the Radar. Here's the link to the comparison video: ruclips.net/video/WycWTY4pMyQ/видео.html

@@nimbuscycles2354 I appreciate that !
i havent owned any oakley glasses in my life. Do the glasses slide down at all when you are sweating profusely?
I feel the unobtainium nose pad material has helped with this issue. I do not struggle with having to constantly adjust the sunglasses.
Fogging up? I had an old Radar Pitch model and they fogged up a lot.
Como vez las prizm golf para ciclismo de carretera?
Are they prescription ready?
Unfortunately it looks like the closest style they offer is the EV Path model, not the advancer in this style :(
The original oakley lens is glass or plastic?
So far, all my Oakley lenses have been plastic.
Polycarbonate
is it only good for riding?
can we use it for normal use !?

I am comparing this with flight jacket. Which one would you recommend for bike and running?
