The no rinse is interesting. Here there is steadily less tolerance for dumping vast amounts of detailing chems into the drainage system. Would be really interesting to see how you’d go about a home detail while minimising the product runoff. I’d like a better result than is possible using the classic self-wash shampoo+hotwax bay, but renting a detailing bay for an afternoon seems like overkill.
Have you tried doing a second wash ( post pre wash and 1st contact wash) using a clay mitt rather than using micro fibre mitt? Also means no need for detailer spray .
I've done it that way before to good results. The detailing spray is the same product that I used in the wash but at a higher concentration. It seemed to glide a bit easier than using the mitt in the wash bucket.
Shocks seem to have gone. The back right started to sag and now I've noticed the left. Springs are still good. After the detail, I'm gonna tackle the mechanical jobs.
Love how you were getting those door/window joints so chosen that the water was following up the door 😂😂😂😂. Was this a test to see who was paying attention😂 On a more serious note, and i say this as a mudflap person, the ones on the car don’t look good. It looks like they are universal ones made to fit. Maybe a proper set that fit the car would be good. Experience tells me on Landrovers and my current Mercedes that even the eBay/chinese copies of the OE ones are excellent and not that expensive.
Haha yeah it was a small detail to see who noticed. The mudflaps seem a bit loose. They might need fixing a bit better. I want to keep some on because the 159 has a tendency to sling stones up on the rear door.
i feel really sorry for you luke, you jacked in your full time job to concentrate on this channel, and it just seems to have died.................21 comments on your last vid 😯😯, i like your channel, but don`t understand why it seems stagnant, any ideas ?
And 15 of those comments were about people having a go at me. Turns out I’m more popular than Luke. Who knew? Think I might start my own channel up. I can’t do any worse. First, I’ll have to give up my well paid job. Obviously makes sense.
Gorgeous looking car.

7:55 - And then we add the mustard
Haha, you've got me wanting a hotdog now.
The back looks very low. Is the springs broke?

Top video that pal, black is the best and worst of the colours.😂

@@TorqueSteer agree with keeping the mudflaps but maybe the actual genuine Alfa ones might be better?
Cant be an Alfa if it’s a diesel. Had a 2.0 gtv many moons ago rotted away
Better than electric :D
