Minerva is the university of my dreams. It's cool that Minerva university has a brazilian among its students.

I can only dream to be in a university like this.... I come from Bulgaria, many people haven't even heard of my country, it's really small. I am already attending a university here and I am so fed up with the pressure of our educational system and also having to work at the same time so I can afford it. My dreams are far from what I am doing with my life right now and it is so sad knowing that I am not the only one struggling and feeling lost because of the illusion our society is forcing us to live in. I am so happy there is a place like this where you have the freedom to find and learn about not only yourself, but also the world and so many amazing people who come from different parts of the world. I am truly amazed. Unfortunately I cannot be apart of this due to my finances. I wish you all the best, and hope everyone finds happiness in whatever they want or are doing in their life, because being happy with your life is the most important thing! :)

+Vanessa Mancheva actually if most people in Korea, where I am writing this and where most people thinks of Europe as this huge chunk of land filled with medieval castles and the Eiffel Tower, have heard of Bulgaria, your nation is pretty much known already.
Yup, Bulgaria is small, and many 'Muricans(!) may not have heard of it, but it is not some sort of pit of desperation and lost hopes. New chances are everywhere where people live. Exploit them.

Everyone always said that Oxbridge is their goal (I live in London) and I've never known why because I never actually knew if I'd be able to choose one subject. I found out about this through unjaded jade and I think I actually found my dream university even if I haven't yet stated 6th form. I now have a goal

Just stunning. Education Finally taken to the 21 century.
This is the type of school that I have dreamed of since I was a child. I am graduating in 2018 from high school, and I am sad I did not tailor my academic experience to increase my chances of getting into Minerva Schools despite knowing I am driven by a passion for changing the live of others in as positive a way as I can. I do not know if I am in the select percent that meets Minerva's criteria, but I know that anyone who does gets a unique opportunity to reach past the stars.

There's definitely nothing like an education that involves a worldwide outlook especially if it's in one classroom I had to travel for years to experience this kind of knowledge of society's and their cultures I wish all who attend the best of luck

Honestly, traditional schools can only compete with schools like this, because schools like this can only accept so many students each year. Bravo for making this real.

hi ! i see that there is a financial aid to be enrolled at Minerva but what if.. as it said that we could study from everywhere through google hang out or Skype, in case we attracted to an isolated place and there's no connection for internet ?

Wow. This is so great. I hate that I am just now discovering this school. Unfortunately, I have already been attending a different university for a couple of years now. However, I do not feel fulfilled AT ALL. But I'm worried that it is too late and a lost cause to start over and apply here instead. Does Minerva accept transfer students or no? I am also interested in the masters program. What is the process for that if I cannot attend the undergraduate school? This school is everything I've wanted out of an education. I just hope I'm not too late.

In fact, many students in the Class of 2019 and the Class of 2020 have transferred to Minerva from other institutions. Due to the scaffolded nature of our curriculum, however, all accepted applicants must enroll as first-year students. We have the unique advantage of unlimited enrollment, so you are not competing with other applicants for a spot. If you qualify, you will be admitted.

It's great to disrupt the education system but I think your recruitment process perpetuate the same old mistakes. The pupils in your videos all speak a good english and sound already well educated. Opening the school to more divers backgrounds would be commendable.
+Becoming Vincent I think given the small scale of Minerva, having non-english speaking students are not a possibility at the moment. And I think they're not simply 'well-educated'. They seem intelligent, not book-smart.
+Lya Luk What I mean is you can tell they are from privileged background. As good as this initiative is, it will perpetuate the same models.
+Becoming Vincent Thank you for your comments. Actually, our students come from a diverse array of backgrounds - culturally, financially, and otherwise. Most receive some form of financial aid in order to attend.
