The forgotten Raider QB. Since 1987, only TWO Raiders QB have a winning record in the AFC West...Rich Gannon and Jason Campbell. Since that time, only three QB's have a winning record overall...Jay Schroeder, Rich Gannon...and Jason Campbell. 7-0 against the AFC West. We absolutely win the division in 2011 if he didn't break his collarbone.
That team with Campbell was special too. They just needed more discipline because of all the dumb penalties that Hue couldn't coach them to stop making. It was so close to being a contender.
Me too. I loved that 2010-2011 team. Denerius Moore, Marcel Reece, Richard Seymour, Tommy Kelly, Tyvon Branch, Michael Huff, Lamar Houston, Kam Wimbley are other players I loved from that team.
Yeah this was a an awesome roster !! Love how Campbell came from Washington and gave us some awesome highlights !! Wished he would have been healthy for the Thursday night game vs the chargers we sat on the 50 all the way up the top row!! Great game
*In this 2010 Season, the Defense was making STOPS and PLAYS, that the Current D, couldn’t even DREAM OF…* *Also, RECEIVERS were making CATCHES, Today’s O, wasn’t even trying to make.* 💯 *Sad times, these days.* *WE BETTER NOT GET RID OF RENFROW, WALLER, ADAMS, OR JACOBS!!!!* 😤😤😤😤💯
I really thought that 2010 team was gonna turn it all around for the Raiders. They went 6-0 in the division and somehow missed the playoffs with an 8-8 record.
Great video. Seems like most of Raider Nation has forgotten Jason Campbell and his time as a Raider. Cant blame them too much as his stint as a Raider was short. Wonder about what might have been had he not been injured. Jacoby Ford,Louis Murphy,Zach Miller,Johnnie Lee Higgins,Marcell Reece,Michael Bush-the team had some firepower. (I have a lot of those guys autographs in my collection. Cant just collect the HOFers and stars. You gotta have the Justin Fargas,Tyrone wheatley,Zach Crockett type guys if you watched them play.)
Campbell definitely had a rebirth in Oakland. It was a shame of what could have been if he played with the Raiders longer. Hue Jackson had to go get his guy Carson Palmer, and that was all she wrote for Campbell's starting career.
Raiders were pretty solid in 2010-2011. Campbell got hurt he probably could have QB'd for Raiders until around 2014 or so. Seymour, DE Shaunessy, TE Miller, LB Wimbley, RB McFadden, Ford, along with other players. Money became an issue buy 2012, "salary cap hell" is what some fans called it.
Al Davis should've change that quote to "Just Win Baby but on my terms" lol. Gruden was winning and still got traded. Traded to the very team that ended up whooping us in the superbowl smh. That was our ring, could've had a little dynasty going but🤷♂️
I personally love Jason Campbell. Too bad he never caught a break and may I mention the fact that he was traded for to replace a certain Hippopotamus 🦛 for a QB.

Jason Campbell balled out for the Raiders until he got hurt.
💯
I remember that it was against the Browns
Don’t forget about Marcell Reece

The Jacoby Ford catch vs the Chiefs where he took the ball away is still one of the best catches i've seen
I dont know why but this era of the nfl feels way more real, idk if its the pink towels or the reebok clothes

I was in my homeboy cell getting my stomach tattoo watching the Raiders destroy the broncos..... 😂

I believe the only time in NFL history that ever happened

Oh man If he wouldn’t have gotten hurt
These Raiders teams had some memorable games that they won. But it still seemed really awkward.
dang
