How to Transform Old T-shirts into a Nightgown

  • I've fallen and I can't get up!
Actually, this video is about how to sew a simple nightgown (albeit one that bares a strong resemblance to wilted lettuce) out of old T-shirts
Not the most attractive, or flattering nightgown, but still technically a wearable article of clothing. That said, it seems like deliberately ugly clothing is kind of a trend (in certain very specific circles) So if you’re into that, this might be the right video for you.
For those of you who might be curious about how my wilted lettuce nightgown was received, she doesn’t seem to totally hate it...not sure if that’s just a front to spare my feelings though.

Song: Almost fell on my a$$ (I've been demonetized, I wonder why?), original improv by me
No, I don’t know why kept it in either, or why I picked a weird thumbnail ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But hey, if there any psychologists watching or subscribed to my channel I’d love to hear your insights, cause actually going to see one of y’all is way too expensive for me.
    Edit:
In regards to COPPA and the FTC,
While I’ve worked hard to make my content accessible and enjoyable to a broad audience, my content is not intended for young children. I regularly use potentially hazardous tools to create art including open flames, heavy gauge wire, sharp pins & sewing needles, razor blades, as well as a sewing machine & serger. These are tools no child should be using unsupervised, and by extension, children should not be watching these videos without supervision. I’m so happy when parents tell me my videos inspired them to create art with their kids. I think arts and crafts are a wonderful way to connect people of all ages, but not all arts and crafts are appropriate for young children, and should not be attempted without attentive supervision and guidance.
My videos are not intended for children. To those that would suggest that anything relating to fantasy, magic, fairies, and angels must be created for children, I’d point out the existence of shows like Carnival Row, Game of Thrones, Lost Girl, True Blood(Spoiler: series contains fairies), Good Omens, Lucifer, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and many more, are compelling evidence to the contrary.
Additionally, according to RUclips analytics less than 5% of my audience falls in the 13-17 age range (the youngest age group RUclips analytics provides data on) and the vast majority of my audience is over 20.
Also, a little update on me: I have been going through one of the worst periods of depression I’ve experienced in quite some time. I’ve barely been able to get out of bed for the past 3 months. My mental health has all but abandoned me, my physical health is suffering, and I don’t have the means or access to seek professional help. This has contributed to the lack of updates on all of my social media platforms. However, these developments with RUclips, COPPA, and the FTC, have been less than encouraging and this very well could mean the end of my channel.
To anyone who’s enjoyed watching my videos, thank you. It’s nice to know I’ve brought people a bit of happiness.
Thank you for all of the kind and supportive comments! I hope you continue to find inspiration and happiness through creativity and art

I actually love this! Is very vintage looking, very 20s flapper-esque! I might do it in a jewel tone next time though purely cause I love those colors. Good job! You've inspired me!

This might have turned out "boring" in your opinion but you are incredibly talented young lady! This is incredibly creative. I grew up sewing with my mom and understand how much work and thought went into this.
Great job, kiddo! Keep it up!

Great idea & lovely nightgows, all shown here - in my book, basic t-shirts are the ones that are ugly as hell, so anything upcycled from them is already a plus! ;D And I actually prefer the look of the nightgown before you added that drawstring thingy. But the only issue is that the music here is overly loud, while the speech is way too quiet, when it shoud be the other way round... And having to constantly crank up wolume when you speak and conversely crank it down *a lot* when the music comes up is annoying.

Singing about almost falling on your ass! I love it! Made me snort with laughter. As far as I know, it is Go-Day. I've only ever heard it said that way. And it makes sense to me to say it that way, after spending all of high school studying french. Any tips/tricks on ironing knit fabric so crisply? Again with all your self-deprecating comments. It's so lovely and looks super comfy. Believe in yourself!

I find myself singing about the oddest things, I once wrote a whole song about onions, maybe one day I'll feel brave enough to post it.
I find cotton presses well regardless of whether its a woven or knit, as long as you use plenty of steam. If a knit is not pressing well, it could be that it has a significant percentage of synthetic fiber in the mix.

I love your videos! Been binge watching all. However the music in-between when you talk is very loud. I find myself turning the volume up when you talk and then way down when you dont and then up again.

Thank you so much for watching!!! As far as the audio goes, someones mentioned that issue before. I've been struggling a bit to get the voiceover function to work properly in iMovie. They sound fine over my laptop's speakers, but I never listen to them with headphones while editing. So I'm wondering if you have that issue while listening with headphones or all the time?

I don't know how to fashion or how to create clothes, but maybe something to hug the chest or waist would have been good?? 🙁🤔
The plain one was fine with me, though. I have no style lol.
