They didn’t on this occasion which I agree was quite a feat. Those escorting them should have ensured that they each had the handrail on one side of them. An oversight by organisers much younger than them. 🇦🇺 They both seemed to climb those stairs effortlessly but my guess is that it caused them some anxiety.
