My Best Charity Shop Find of 2023!

- Welcome back to another live game hunting where I go around charity shops, pawn shops, CEX anywhere I can find games and game related awesomeness!
This time I’m going to be hitting up TONS of charity shops all around the U.K.!
The thing is with charity shop hunting it’s all about persistence, you can go ages finding nothing only for massive score to be just around the corner.
And that is exactly what happens this time!
In this episode I find what is without a shadow of a doubt my best charity find if 2023 and with just under two months of the year left I think it’ll be hard to too this one!
This video is a great example of the state of charity shops around the U.K. as we’re visiting shops in all shapes and sizes around a selection of towns, both big and small.
I hope you enjoy this video and it inspires and drives you to keep hunting the charity shops knowing a big score is always around the corner!

Excellent finds mate. Getting harder in charity shops but like you said, keep going as you never know... I've had to broaden my horizens with dvd box sets, Plushies etc to fund my game collection but it does work.
Exactly it’s whatever you can find to fund what you love! I’ve sold some strange things to fund my gaming habit lol and it’s all about that broadening your horizons and keeping going!
Amazing find there, PS3 is my thing at the moment and to find all of that, insane. Top stuff

@@DanTheGamesMan lol 😂 don’t blame u as most will only go up in value, especially the NTSC and Japanese versions mate. I’ve never had a ps3 find like that, that’s prob the best find I have seen so far.

Good finds especially God of war. Last week I found a copy of castlevania symphony for £3 cracked case but sold it for 425. Some charity shops are getting wise to the retro scene.

Great stuff Dan. Speaking of CDs we have sold motion picture soundtracks for good money like Spiderman lord of the rings godzilla and King Kong.

😱Wow I mainly collect PS3 games and even i dont own many of those games that you managed to get that is A absolutely amazing find incredible and the best thing I got in A charity shop was probably A Japanese PSP game or A sonic gamecube game Great video enjoyed it alot👍👍👍

That find at the end was insane. Well done. You are not wrong when you said persistence looking in charity shops pays off. It might not be as big a find as yours but I recently found a Call of Duty Black ops 3 PS4 controller for £20. I then traded it into CEX for £50.

It’s honestly a hit or miss with cds especially box sets or collections. You really have to look to find ones that are worth money

I've never found a single thing in Buxton. Whats crazy as well is the CEX close by to that charity shop where some of the Pal games could of been traded in for cash. You really did luck out there! Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is worth a quick go just to see the Sonic back ground.

Well I was in Wembley to a charitiy shop 200 meters from CEX shop inside found 4 Mario games for wii worthy 60£ each bought it for 1£ .You never know when the rabbit will shop up.

Amazing pick ups mate! Buxton only 30 mins from me. I’m not doing that well this year with the charity shops but keep going to hopefully find something decent. Hopefully soon🤞 my best pick ups of the year gotta be the resident evil 2 and 3 on GameCube for 99p each

Best I've had this year was at game 98p per game all trades in at cex between £4 and £8 bought 30 games total

you say about dvd boxsets i once found crossroads tv series complete dvd boxset for £5.00 i took a punt and sold it on fb marketplace for £200

My local charity shop has had so much good stuff in this year, PS2 TV, N64s, rare games but they're all priced at retail 😭😭
That’s a shame about the pricing but very cool to see stuff like that! Especially the PS2 Tv!

My best charity shop is that I found some nntendo switch games for 50p each i picked up Splatoon 2, fifa 18 and Zelda breath of the wild

Wow they are some awesome finds, you can’t go wrong with pretty much ANY Xbox One game for a quid but they are some fantastic titles!
Also a Mega Drive in a Charity shop! What an awesome find!
