    Just last week my husband who is also a carpenter (by hobby), was explaining treated vs untreated lumber cuts to me and the complexity of the soaring lumber prices since the pandemic. I usually zone out with the hubby😂 but I have to admit its such an interesting subject area & craft. I enjoyed your hubby’s explanation and look forward to the outcome in a few weeks!

    • @SoilandMargaritas
      @SoilandMargaritas  3 года назад +1

      I can't believe how much the price of lumber has gone up! I wanted to do a few small projects this year with treated wood but they can add up, I had to have hubby doing the explaining because I have no clue... Thanks for sharing!

      @@SoilandMargaritas my husband is a carpenter too Rox and I can’t tell you how many times I just want to “slap it together” and get on with it, but if I’ve asked for his help I have to “follow the rules” 🤣 in the end it always nice to have it done correctly I guess huh

    My boyfriend is fully capable of doing this
    For me but he is a contractor who works 6 days a week and getting him to do anything around our house is like pulling teeth 🦷 so I’ll have to buy mine. Great job!

    • @SoilandMargaritas
      @SoilandMargaritas  3 года назад +3

      Oh I completely understand the struggle! He is always willing to help if he has the time, but there are SO many other house projects that take priority over garden little things, so whenever I need his help I make sure it is something I absolutely cannot do on my own.

    Excellent video. Calm music, camera properly set to show details, step by step construction done at the right speed to follow as a DIY project.
    I would have liked small captions at each step indicating type and size of wood and nails used. Eventhough you do not sponsor DeWalt, it would have been nice to know what type of equipment was being used and possibly a link where to purchase it. In fact, I would venture to offer this video to them to use as advertising their product. You may get some good compensation. Won't hurt to try.
